A list of puns related to "Self Inflicted Wound"
First off, I'm relatively new to the community, so hi everyone. Even though this post contains constructive criticism, I remain a big fan of the project. I'm very much looking forward to stock tokens and hopefully adoption! A little on my background, I do computational physics for my day job.
I've been calculating APR for the masternodes and liquidity pools and first want to share some results.
As of the time of this post, I've calculated the APR for liquidity pools as:
BTC-DFI APR = 43.0%
ETH-DFI APR = 34.9%
USDT-DFI APR = 44.8%
USDC-DFI APR = 42.4%
LTC-DFI APR = 42.8%
BCH-DFI APR = 45.9%
DOGE-DFI APR = 12.3%
And for masternodes:
normal = 0.393 +- 0.022
five year = 0.589 +- 0.027
ten year = 0.786 +- 0.031
Note: "normal = 0.393 +- 0.022" should be interpreted as "Two thirds of all normal masternodes will have an APR between 37.1% and 41.5% over the next year."
These numbers may look lower than you are used to seeing. That is because I have incorporated block emission reduction over the next year into their computation. That doesn't make them "better" than what is reported on say the DEX explorer. In fact, they pretty much reproduce the same trend in the order of the pools from highest to lowest. They also are not completely accurate as they are not incorporating two more important effects:
(1) Inflation of DFI coin from block emissions and time-locks (see below). This contribution will drive the APRs lower.
(2) Adoption of DFI. This contribution results from increased activity on DEX and transactions on blockchain. More transactions produces more fees paid to liquidity miners and stakers and will drive the APRs higher.
None-the-less, what the APRs calculated this way do show is two important pieces of information:
(1) The APR for all the liquidity pools and the normal masternodes are all pretty close to each other.
(2) The time-locked masternodes are doing exactly what they were advertised to do. That is, five-year time-locked masternodes give 1.5x the APR of a normal masternode, and ten-year locks are 2x.
Now, to the topic of this post. I've been watching the APRs and they've been plummeting since the introduction of time-locked masternodes. This is because twice as many subnodes are introduced per ten-year locked masternode. The total APR for staking is determined by both block emissions AND subnode population. A ten-year locked masternode still only locks up 20k DFI, but introduces 40k worth of DFI in subnodes t

Noone was really talking much about unions before HD corporate made their anti-union propaganda video. Maybe a union would be beneficial, maybe not - that part is pure speculation. Neither corporations nor unions are inherently evil.
But from a purely strategic standpoint, I've got to ask this: My god, what kind of rocket scientists are making decisions HD corporate? With their anti-union video (apparently created by Cluster-Fuck Pictures Inc.) they've created a pro-union movement that didn't exist a week ago.
Dear anti-union shareholders: It's called "messaging". HDs message was Success Sharing". People were talking about it. That was good. Now, it's been set on fire by the people at the top. Your own people did this to you.
I just hate to see unforced errors. I get enough of them at work.
P.S. Thanks for letting me rant.
We all know it's a crime to pick your acne but sometimes the urge to do so takes me over. I've been given medicine by a dermatologist and it started to look a better. I just had an annoyance in my face again and unfortunately picked it do oblivion. It's throbbing and burning but I've already put gel on it and a band aid. What would you guys recommend for proper treatment to minimize scarring? I'm from Germany and if any German fella knows a product that their are familiar with, please text me. That band aid luckily reminds me of how stupid I am for picking, so that's that.
