Adding so much gold and map impact in the form of scuttle crab has only hurt the jungle role.
I have seen more mental collapse from teams in games from silver to diamond due to scuttle fights level 3/4 than any other cause. A jungler shouldn't have his game ruined because his solo laners did not roam for his objective, and likewise a solo laner shouldn't have their game ruined by roaming for an over-forced scuttle contest by their jungler. This is a snowball-more, too-valuable objective that is placed on the map far too early in the game.
Possible solution: literally delete it and move the gold and XP back to camps, increase camp HP if you want. This allows heavy gankers to know their gold/xp is still 'safe' in their jungle, just delayed. The full clear jungler will still enter the map at a gold and XP advantage.
TL;DR: scuttle is too strong and on map too early, forces viable jungle pool to contest, forces lanes to play to jungle's gameplan, 'early skirmish objective' is shoehorned in and scuttle is a bad asnwer to that
Hello! I've been making a concerted effort at /r/Kindred to get visibilitiy higher on this long standing bug with Kindred's W.
What's the bug you ask? Well sometimes when casting W, Wolf will not attack scuttle crab.
Why is this a big deal you ask? Well Kindred as a champion desperately needs their first 4 marks, and their first mark always spawns on Scuttle crab (unless you got an early mark from a pre 3:15 kill). Losing out on about half your dps when securing scuttle crab is incredibly impactful when it happens, and can cause a Kindred player to have to give up scuttle and a mark if the enemy comes by when the bug is occuring.
So I've been pouring over all my clips and testing of this goddamn bug, trying to find a way to trigger it with 100% consistency... Unfortunately, I don't think that it is possible for me, somebody without access to Riot's dev tools, to trigger it with 100% consistency.
However, I noticed that every time the W not attacking scuttle crab glitch occurred, it would happen when Wolf spawned as Scuttle Crab would change direction.
So bug replication went:
I found it hard to believe that scuttle crab's bug would be from pathfinding, so I decided to eliminate as many variables from the equation as I could. I started testing the bug without auto attacking or Q-ing at all.

That's where this newest video comes from, and I'd really like some more data from anyone that plays Kindred on this one. If anybody else can see if this will consistently trigger the bug occurring, we could be one step closer to getting rid of this annoying as shit bug from occurring.

They both spawn at 3:15, but after killing them I'm unsure of how they work. Seems like if both Scuttles are taken at the same time, only one will spawn the next time round? And I'm unsure of which one it is, is it the one that got taken first?
After that, I have again no idea on how often Scuttles spawn. Do they follow the standard 2 min 15s camp respawn time? But when does the 4th Scuttle spawn in that case? If anyone could shed some light on this that would be much appreciated!

One of the jungle changes is a Scuttle buff, it's HP was increased to 1050 to 2170 from 1000 to 2066

I know how to get not applyed by the bug thx to someone on this reddit, but since riot said they fixed it I just thought it'll work everytime... guess I was wrong
This is a batshit crazy buff for Kindred. She has no hard cc to remove the shield, and she does have an execute so she even prefers to smite before pressing E rather than smiting to secure it. Although, this is speed vs reliability, you risk it getting stolen if you smite it first, but I actually think it's way safer to halve the time you take killing it, rather than holding onto smite and probably losing the trade anyways.
I don't think any other champion benefits from this change as much as Kindred.

Despite the game saying that "every type of CC and smite destroys the shield", this doesnt happen with teemo's Q; blind is a type of CC like others, then why is it treated differently?
