I really love the Saltspring Island Cheese St. Jo Feta but I haven't been able to find it! Lots of their flavoured chevre around, but the feta I haven't seen. Anybody got any leads?

I am not a Saltspring resident but I am a sport shooter and I live close enough that Saltspring could reasonably be a desination for me to compete in a match in the future. Regardless, what is happening right now deserves the attention of all Canadian sportsmen who care about municipal governments abusing their power and bylawing firearms out of existence.
The following email was sent to members of my local gun club. I have already submitted a calm but thought-out letter to the CRD. I know that the Saltspring shooters would appreciate any support that the rest of the Canadian shooters can offer by letting the CRD know what an absurd move this is.

Please let the CRD know before July 31, 2014 that you are opposed to their proposed by-law change that would make it impossible for the Salt Spring Island Gun Club (SSI) to continue operations. If they do this to the SSI Gun Club, they can do it to us.
John Foley, the president of Salt Spring Island Gun club, is asking for some community support.
The CRD was told by the courts that they were not supposed to 'bylaw' out of existence a legally
zoned property, however, they seem to be ignoring that. See the following:

The hours of operation to 7pm will be slightly restrictive, but the decibel level is impossible.
SSI gun club will not be able to limit noise to 70 decibels...... even a lawnmower is louder than that.
Your blow-dryer and vacuum cleaner are louder as well ....
The CRD is looking for 'feedback' on its website. (not necessarily a letter to each of the directors .....)
