A list of puns related to "Roundcube"
I have a roundcube, dovecot, exim4 running on my system. The emails that I send to this server are recieved and are reflecting on my phone, via SMTP, in my email app. But when I open roundcube, it does not show that email.
My server has gone through a ram usage surge recently. Maybe some service is down? Clamav daemon and fetchmail service is running currently(these two have caused problems previously)
Any suggestions why this might be happening? Please help! And thanks!
Do you know of any way to keep Gmail and Roundcube in sync, so that I need to only add new contacts on either of the two, but they stay updated on both places?
We need someone to help us to maintain roundcube plugin VirusTotal, which analysis each attachment in mail. Since we are working on other several projects would be nice for someone to take over this project.

I'm very new to Linux and server hosting in general so forgive me if this is a common issue.
I have been trying to setup a mail server on a ubuntu machine I have hosted with OVHcloud.
The server is using Postfix, Dovecot and Roundcube.
I've managed to set everything up and can send and receive messages and also connect the server to other clients like the outlook app for windows and the gmail android app.
However, I've been experiencing a unique issue that I couldn't find an answer for after a bit of googling.
Every time I send an email via Roundcube or the gmail android app to my personal gmail/yahoo account it always automatically goes to the spam folder.
However, if I send the email via the Outlook app on windows it goes straight to my inbox.
All mail clients are connected to the same mail server and sending the exact same message the only difference is what client is sending the message.
I've check my email with mail-tester.com which gave a score of 8/10.
I've set up proper SPF, DKIM and DMARC with all of them passing and being valid but, what client I send the email with decides what inbox it will go to.
Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this and any fixes they can suggest?
Thank you.
Title says everything. I deleted an email from a few years ago that I need to find - is there any way that I can get it back? Even if it's been deleted from my deleted folder? Thanks :)
I'm using the Sieve mail filter in Roundcube. For some reason, the "Move message to" feature offered by Roundcube's filtering GUI, which creates the code
if header :contains "subject" "filtered mail subject"
{
fileinto "destination folder";
}
...ends up with mails fulfilling the set criteria being copied into the folder instead of moving them. Any idea how to fix this?
Hey,
we are running Ex2016 with Roundcube as Frontend (we dont want OWA) for many years. Several 1000 Users use Roundcube and connect via IMAP.
Since CU22 (?) we got huge problems during high load times at noon when most users are active that imap seems to be "failing" No errors in the log, CPU (36 core) is fine, RAM is fine. Basically Roundcube is going slower and slower until we restart the IMAP service and then everything is fine again.
How can we track down the problem ?
It shouldnt be a Roundcube problem, but i cant decide whats causing the issue.
Connection cound is set to a high number, connection count from same IP is set to a high number also, it used to work for years also. No firewall between the machines either.
happens twice a day and then its all fine.
Any ideas ?
thx
Hi. I am working on migrating 17+ Gsuite accounts to Roundcube. Anybody know of any easy-to-use tools to migrate these accounts? Each account has a plethora of folders/directories and they're all 2GB+.
Currently I'm adding each account to Thunderbird, moving each folder to a staging IMAP Roundcube server then planning once we make the move to production Roundcube doing the same. Not very friendly and very time consuming. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thank You.
Note: Google's migration feature seems to only be fore Migrating IN to Workspace, not out. lol
I just checked Roundcube (after several years) and those guys worked really hard. The web interface looks superb to me. Also a lots of plugins.
I still dont think there is a way how to run own mail solution without headaches but I think I can make a small step forward and start using a new face for my gmail accounts.
I wanna ask if anyone of you has experience with Roundcube + gmail and if so how does it work? Contacts, labels, folders, threads... I wanna still use gmail app on my phone so these 2 frontends needs to be 100% compatible (Roundcube not making mess in gmail).
Hello, I have a CentOS 7 server with 8GB DDR2 ram, q6600 proccessor, ssd.
I have Postfix, Dovecot installed, and use Roundcube Webmail 1.4.11. I use httpd to host it (I have a separate virtual host created for it, mail.domain.com)
Roundcube seems to be running very slow as shown in the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4-Oc-SFdZQ
It was running slow like this forever, since I configured everything.
I checked the server loads while opening up roundcube, no increase in load, nothing in httpd error logs. Can someone help me diagnose it?
Am I doing something wrong, or is the RPI email still down? I'm still getting "connection has timed out" errors even though admin sent an "all clear" text on May 17th.
Hi,
I've got tired of waiting for Roundcube's dark skin and the hacks I use to make it look dark, so I finally created a dark-themed skin for Roundcube.
Maybe "created" is too much in this case :-)
I took this nice css: https://github.com/Skorpion/roundcube-elastic-dark, targeted for Stylus extension, and tweaked it to work inside a skin (and fixed some issues), then wrapped it in the RC skin format and published :-)
Seems to work great for me, so if anyone's interested, here it is: https://github.com/tborychowski/elastic-dark
I've taken to hosting my email at a webhost using cPanel. The cPanel Roundcube doesn't have CalDav Calendar support (despite claiming it does) so I've taken to installing Roundcube manually and it all works, with one exception - CalDav support.
My question here is really what is the true state of play with Roundcube and CalDav support? I'm finding lots of GitHub / GitLab repos that haven't been updated in 5+ years, support < v1.2 and then I'm finding stuff about Kolab CalDav which seems to require using a Kolab CalDav server. The webhost I'm using has a CalDav server which I'm successfully using in Horde. But I prefer Roundcube.
I simply want to integrate an existing CalDav calendar into Roundube and I really cannot find out how I can do that or if it's even possible. So much conflicting information. Anybody help at all?
Does anyone know of an email provider that contains a proper HTML editor. By this, I mean that it's possible to paste in HTML code, and the mail system converts it into HTML before sending. I don't mean the ability to write email using HTML code. I want to copy and paste HTML from elsewhere.
VFEMail and CTemplar allow one to create email in HTML but not to paste HTML code in.
Roundcube is the type of editor I need. However, I have only found Roundcube when buying hosting for a domain.
I'm happy to pay for the right service.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
I can get this using this plugin:
https://github.com/texxasrulez/additional_imap
And did some ajusts:
Delete all custom config from gmail and gmx(or other if you use it) of /plugins/additional_imap/config.inc.php
Enabled "Show real names for special folders" in Settings->preferences->Special Folders
Add rc3k_ prefix to plugin tables on DB.
To be a perfect solution, only miss one little thing:
ALL INBOXES Option
There is no multi-accs-webmail-imap-reader with a nice interface available for free/selfhosted, this roundcube+additional_imap its the closest solution that i can found.
Im a happy user of SparkMail, but they dont have a web/win version.
Nextcloud Mail app do the job, but is too slow and buggy...
If you know a better solution, please send it here! Thanks
hello,
I'm using Roundcube to send an email to an external email (hotmail). however this doesn't work, port 25 is open for Roundcube.
I've checked the logfiles and found this line:
[Jan 3 12:16:10 mailserver postfix/smtp[6506]: 6832689353: to=<mymail@hotmail.com>, relay=none, delay=449, delays=388/0.03/60/0, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (connect to hotmail-com.olc.protection.outlook.com[104.47.59.161]:25: Connection timed out)]
it's unable to receive and send to an external email, but it works internal.
I'm not sure what is going.
I'm setting up a selfhosted email server using postfix. I plan on creating accounts for my family so I decided to setup Roundcube. I think I have missconfigured something but I can't figure out what, here is my problem:
I have my Roundcube hosted in webmail.domain.com, my smtp is mail.domain.com
If I send an email from Roundcube it sends it as username@mail.domain.com which results in going to the spam folder. If I send an email from mutt it arrives just fine with username@domain.com as the sender.
Any idea on what do I need to change?
