A list of puns related to "Rothesay"
As the title says, the same weekend that big Red ale party happened in Rothesay Bay right by my house. It was frustrating and there music was so loud until 1am and I had called noise control but nothing happened with them. Just frustrates me because I live in units by a couple of older people and I have a 1 year old and it makes me sick people want to party on the weekends and call mates over during lockdown. Makes me sick, furious and next time it happens gonna call the cops.
Hopefully this is not a loaded question, but does anyone have a recommendation for what internet provider one should go with for a home in Rothesay, NB?
Went in to the branch this afternoon and noticed three men in the line, none of them social distancing and no masks.
They wanted to change their address from Ontario to Manitoba and explained that theyβve been in Winnipeg for a month or so. The teller checked their transactions and noticed theyβve been using their cards in Brampton last week. The teller advised them of travel restrictions, kicked them out and wiped down the branch.
A big shout out to the branch and a big fuck you to those dudes.
Edit: I followed up with the branch and was told they cannot report due to privacy.
I got the NB DOT office phone number from Don Darling. The project is provincial so that is why I contacted them.
The reason for the delay in putting lights in that intersection is (drumroll please...) the pandemic!
The light poles were supposed to arrive back in May, but work stoppages and workforce shortages have pushed their delivery to Aug/Sept, and when they arrive they will be installed as soon as possible.
I ride my motorcycle through that intersection on my way back West, and I cannot WAIT for the lights. Too many close calls, even more NOW than before the remodel.
Now for the PSA.
If you are on Rothesay Rd and turning LEFT onto Rothesay Ave to go under the train bridge DO NOT wave people through that are turning left to go onto the highway. There is a straight through lane that has the right-of-way beside you, and the people turning to go onto the highway CANNOT SEE through the line of cars that is behind you. This is why YOU have the right-of-way and they should not proceed until they can clearly see BOTH lanes of traffic are free of vehicles.
At least once a week I personally experience or witness a close call at this intersection for this very reason. Most of the time it ends up in the vehicle who has turned left swerving to avoid the oncoming vehicle (which has the right-of-way) and ending up in the median or in the oncoming lane (eastbound offramp)!
Being nice is one thing, but being nice and disrupting the flow of traffic could kill someone. Follow the rules of the road!
Keto's been great but eating out is a huge pain. I'm looking for somewhere to go Friday night. I'm wide open to anything.
