Hi, Futurology! I'm Trey Goff, Chief of Staff at Honduras Próspera Inc. We have worked with the Honduran government to create what is, in my humble opinion, the world's most advanced special economic zone. My identity has been verified by the moderators.

In short, Honduras Próspera's sole focus is catalyzing prosperity and improving lives for profit. We recognize that governance, as an industry (that is, the industry providing public services and goods), is stagnant, ossified, and ripe for positive improvement. As humanity continues to grow ever more urbanized and concentrated in city centers that wield disparate economic power, a new, more entrepreneurial, and more dynamic form of political organization will be required. It is this shift in human collective action which it is our long term goal to catalyze: a world in which governments compete for residents; a world where residents voluntarily and easily choose their governance; and a world where these competitive pressures unleash innovation and prosperity by creating ever-more effective governance systems that compete to maximize human welfare, in whatever form that may take.

In Honduras, we are launching our very first prosperity hub on the island of Roatan. Thanks to the special economic zone we have worked with the Honduran government to create, we are leveraging cutting-edge modular construction technologies along with virtual community-building tools to democratize real estate development and create an entirely new, bottom-up means for building the cities of the future from scratch. Further, Próspera is the only place in the world where the institutions are structured to incentivize rather than slow innovation in the world of atoms. As such, we hope that the technologies which will fundamentally change the world for the better will be created in Próspera, by Hondurans and other populations who have not historically had access to the governance institutions which enable and abet such value creation.

I am sorry to hear of the very high suicide rates in your country.

I have a hard time believing ~40,000 people would be willing to commit suicide or homicide each year without some sort of catalyst like poverty, abuse, improperly treated mental health, etc.

In a scenario where society has living wages, access to affordable healthcare (including robust mental healthcare), police accountability, proper political representation (address citizens united, gerrymandering, ranked choice voting etc), end the war on drugs, lift populations prone to gang violence out of poverty, etc, do you honestly think gun violence wouldn't substantially decrease as a side effect?

How would these changes not substantially decrease gun violence?

I honestly want to know why these changes, if implemented, wouldn't decrease gun violence. Am I missing something?

Or The A.P.E. Party for short! I am so tired of seeing how out of touch and blatantly corrupt our(American) gov't is. I know it's been like this forever but then again us little guys have been kept pushed down in the mud forever. We have a chance to start something really special after the MOASS. I've seen the posts. We are caring and have empathy and most importantly we'll have each other and a shit ton of money. It's obvious that's what it takes. When this is over I for one will be the change I seek and run for office. If I end up not doing that I'll at least try to buy someone. That seems like it would be easier. 😂😭. Introduction

Background

As mentioned in my previous post. The book of Psalms is a Magickal System unto itself. Meaning you can become an adept just using the book of Psalms. This Psalmic Technique that I am about to show you is not my usual way of using the Psalms. I am an Ars Paulina craftman and so my Psalmic technique revolves around Angelic forces, having said that, one can use only the Psalms to and become an extremely powerful magician. This is due to the intricacies of the Psalmic work itself. There is an initiation path through the Psalms that guides the magician higher and higher.

How the spells work in this system.

1)The selected Psalmic scriptures will be read out loud all the way though. This is called an Incantation.

Incantation - A series of words said as a magic spell or charm.

2)The next phase of the spell is to focus on the occult meaning of the words in Psalms. Meditating on these meanings will plant the seeds into your subconscious and well as the universe and the spell will begin working for you. At the same time you gain a deeper understanding of the Scripture.

I don’t know if anyone else feels the same as me, but this is a vent/rant. And encouragement too. Hopefully mods don’t remove this, I pray I’m not breaking any rules.

But I’m sick of prosperity gospel. I hate it. I don’t know if this is normal - to have that much anger towards it. I see it everywhere. I follow many Christian accounts on Instagram that are biblically sound, but in the explore page I still get posts like “God is giving you a blessing this week, claim your blessing by commenting amen!” And all these brainless idiots commenting “amen 🙏🏽❤️” not knowing what they’re even agreeing to. Sure, I feel bad for them that they’re that deceived, it’s quite sad - but I’m also angry, that people actually run accounts preaching this sort of nonsense. Like why? How dare they twist the gospel of Jesus, omit His words of denying riches and materialistic stuff, how dare they add stuff to the Bible. I’m very disappointed with these pastors (i.e. Joel osteen, Kenneth Copeland, the whole word of faith movement’s theology I just despise).

I also have negative personal experiences with it, I’m a major overthinker especially when it comes to faith. That’s Satan’s favorite spot to attack me, to grab me by the ankles and bring me down with doubts of salvation and faith. And guess what? Prosperity gospel did a great job of doing that. I think it might be Satan’s work. Not sure if I should use the word “demonic” because it’s a strong word, but I feel an urge to. Anyways. I was taught that if I did not receive physical healing or financial prosperity, that my “faith wasn’t strong enough”. This led me to doubt a lot, encouraging thoughts such as:

• “is my faith good/strong enough?”
• “am I really saved?”
• “what if I’m not saved and I’m going to hell”
• “what if God hates me so He won’t prosper me”

Don’t get me wrong, I believe God is a healer. Jesus is amazing, He’s better than any dude with an MD in a clinic. One time, I had a bad nosebleed from dropping my phone on my face, all I said was “Lord have mercy” and it stopped immediately. Another time I had horrible stomach pain, God helped me to go sleep and I woke up feeling great! So yes, I agree God heals. But the Bible never says that God guarantees healing for people, nor does it say it’s God’s will for every person to be healed of their physical/mental illness. I have seen these Word of Faith and prosperity preachers take numerous verses out of context and twist them to their ideology. It pisses me off. Like Is

Anecdotally I dont know a single guy who wouldn’t prefer to have someone support them, so they could play with and educate their kids all day, rather than go into a work site to serve their boss/customers/corporation, but they literally have no choice. Is it that women, as they earn more still want partners who earn more than them, or is it a case of the grass always being greener on the other side? Very much looking to be a stay at home dad myself, but every women ive met would want me to work full time so she can stay home or work part time. Does not seem very equal :(

I live in Maine, which is one of the least religious areas in the US. When you do find a church, it's either a bog-standard non-denom megachurch or charismatic (both hyper and non), and the charismatic portion is slowly being infiltrated by the prosperity gospel. Our area is responsible for at least three prosperity preachers, two of them coming from the church I grew up in. Not a soul is saying anything to them and about them, so I (foolishly, I fear) have taken up a crusade of calling out.

You know, standard Reformed keyboard warrior stuff.

I had recently called one out for saying (with enough nuance to not be taken out of context) that God desires all His children to be rich. As it so happens, another local evangelist (whom my sister happens to work for) posted about Christians needing to be anti-alcohol for the sake of their eternal fate. Normally, I'd just roll my eyes and ignore it, but as it so happens, that particular prosperity preachers commented in favor of it.

Well, gang, I saw my shot and just had to take it. So I replied with:

[Name], you preach the prosperity gospel, the health-and-wealth gospel, the "God desires that every one of His children be rich" gospel that comes directly from hell.

Before you speak a word about alcohol, you need to repent of your false teaching, run from the prosperity gospel before it takes you down along with hundreds of others than listen to you. The prosperity gospel you preach is 100 times more deadly than alcohol as it deals with people's souls rather than their livers.

I might mention my first cup of coffee hadn't kicked in, so graciousness wasn't in the wheelhouse, apparently.

As he's from the area, he messaged me and asked me to have coffee with him so he could explain to me "why I am proud to be what you call a prosperity preacher. What else is there? A poverty preacher? A sickness preacher? I simply believe the promises of God that have changed my life, and I’m privileged to preach the Good News."

So, am I right to take the time to try to speak truth into his life? Even though I came on strong, I truly stand behind every word I said and I care for his soul and the souls of those he's attempting to speak into. The legacy of the church we come from is not a theologically sound one, and people tend to follow the charismatic leaders without forethought or critique. Am I casting my pearls before swine?
