A list of puns related to "Population Transfer"
Anyone know the threshold that blizz allows free transfers for? My guild is on Thunderfury and we're sitting around 1600 total players across both factions. We want to transfer because it dwindles by 300 each week but we also may get free transfers. Anyone know the cutoff for the population needed for free transfers?
EU Central servers such as Bifrost, Helheim and Hades have had a massive influx of players this weekend, leading to queues over 1k.
Transfers to these servers need to be stopped. People are honestly too stupid to realise that they're ruining both their home servers and the destination servers by moving there.
If you're already on a low/medium population server and thinking about migrating to a high population server, consider another server or wait until things have settled.
My company is currently split between 3 servers in NA-West due to queue times on launch week. I've created a spreadsheet to help us make an educated decision for transferring. I'm no excel expert and I'm manually updating the data, so it's a bit inconsistent. That being said, I thought some of you might find it useful.

*EDIT* Currently the "Post Transfer" numbers are a bit off, this is due to a smaller data set. it should look better after i can collect a few more data points this evening.
I am the only one to consider a transfer to a low populated server ?
I am a relatively casual player (2-3 hours per day maximum, not every evenings), i've reached lvl 60 with a good gear, and yet i haven't participated to a war yet. All the war are reserved for the players of the big guilds. Only pvp remaining is big zergs in open world.
I feel like in a low populated server, i would be able to have more impact on the world, on the pvp and on wars. Being a casual player, i will be less stomped & my opponents will be at my level.
Is it a good idea ?
p.s : any recommendation for a nice server in Europe ?
I don't want to play in a mono faction pve server for the long term. I guess i'm looking for suggestions for a more balanced population pvp server
Edit: Balanced* damn mobile
Also edit: how active is your server? A lot of wars? High population?
Should USSR's population transfers be considered as acts of genocide? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_genocides_by_death_toll

title, there are still players but nowhere near close what we had previously, from long queues of 5k to a medium-size server, to even low.
I think I am going to go from a 99% horde to 99% alliance server, they are both high population. I have about 200k of gold so not a ton to do something with. Is there anything I might be able to take from one to the other to make some money? I'm newer so I don't know what specifically would be potentially profitable. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of transfer that could provide some suggestions?
I think itβs be a nice feature if we could bring citizens of our primary culture living in other countries back into the home country through diplomacy. Irl this happened with the Germans during ww2 who brought all Baltic Germans to settle in polish lands. I think itβs be really cool to bring the Italians in savoy into Italy, the Germans in Transylvania into Germany, or the British in Northern Ireland into Britain(if Ireland becomes independent)
Also, did the Jewish community there experience a sudden uptick in antisemitic acts from their new neighbors right after the Greek-Turkey population exchanges? Or from their existing/remaining old neighbors, for that matter?
I'm mostly interested in the writings of Jewish religious authorities, academics, politicians, and others who might be broadly considered community leaders or members of the intelligentsia of Thessaloniki at the time.
Thanks!
Hi, me again
I was looking into a thread about Israeli and US sottraction of the land of native population in the areas but one user pointed out Soviet era deportation of peoples, posting this article of Wikipedia and this other article
According to Wikipedia, soviet population transfers were "the forced transfer of various groups from the 1930s up to the 1950s ordered by Joseph Stalin". According to Wikipedia the "targets" were Kulaks, ethnic minorities and occupied territory citizens and were a form of "ethnic cleaning" and "genocide", which caused the death of approximately 800,000 to 1,500,000 people. The article starts mentioning the forced deportation of Kulaks (Dekulakization) and the deportation of soviet KoreansΒ in 1937.
The article goes on talking about the deportation of the crimean Tatars, the deportation of Circassians, the deportations of Chechens and Ingush people, the deportation of Germans and Poles after WW2 and finally the deportation of Estonians and other baltic peoples after. Many of those supposed genocides are recognized by the EU and other post soviet states like Ukraine. On 26 April 1991 the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Socialist Federal Soviet Republic, under its chairman Boris Yeltsin, passed the law On the Rehabilitation of Repressed Peoples with Article 2 denouncing all mass deportations as "Stalin's policy of defamation and genocide."
What do you think of these articles? Do you recommend any good books on the subject from an ML perspective? Do you have anything to add to these claims? Thank you in advance and have a good day.

A couple of questions:
Did forced population transfers really happen in the 1930s to the extent that the west portrays it?
If so, was there any proper justification? Can someone clarify the situation for me because wikipedia, any articles I find are all anti-soviet.
Hello is there any command that moves pops of a different culture to a different province Itβs incredibly frustrating to have a state with a accepted culture right across the border thatβs not accepted in its current nation and doesnβt come over to the one weβre itβs the primary also any way to add accepted cultures via command
