I just listened to a BBC podcast about the Polish-Lithuanian Republic. Renaissance-inspired democracy over a huge territory with Latin as an official language, at a time when Western Europe was still dominated by undemocratic Monarchies. What do Lithuanians think of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth?
In the r/Poland subreddit a lithuanian was strongly negative towards the commonwealth (the post was a pic of the commonwealth) he said that the lithuanians were "used" "betrayed" and that Lithuanians were better off alone. Do other lithuanians share this opinion?
I was always taught that the commonwealth was a golden age for both nations more like a happy marrage than one having more power than the other.

Pros:
- early research slots
- better and more advisors and generals
- can cuck the Germans out of Memel
Cons:
- embargoed economy
- has to deal with Danzig or war
Lithuania
Pros:
- various nation spirits that means army exp will not be a problem
- does not need to give up Danzig
- can bypass embargoed economy
- arguably better king
- manpower buffs that Poland lacks
- Lithuania gets Estonia as cores while Poland doesnβt
Cons:
- must give up Memel
- no core on zaolzie
- acute lack of generals
- will be stuck with 3 research slots for a long time, might not be able to ever reach the fifth slot
- worse political advisor
