A list of puns related to "Policyholder"
do any U.S. auto insurance company offer policies that excludes coverage if the accident occurred while the policyholder as legally intoxicated?
I lived/worked in a foreign country for 3 years a while ago. When I was signing up for the coverage, the agent asked me if I wanted the coverage that did not cover DUI case... Since I was from the U.S., I had never heard of such thing. It turned out that by choosing the box that waive the insurance company from claims when I was legally intoxicated during accidents, I saved almost 50% on the monthly premiums. Since I never consumed alcohol, I chose that coverage and save a bundle of money. (last time I had an alcoholic drink was when Reagan was just got elected)
Just wondering if U.S. insurance company have anything like that so I can save money?
Hi all! I just want to share my SO's experience with Cocolife. April 8, someone texted her na nagpakilala na from COCOLIFE daw tapos yung text message niya may nakalagay na BPI account (Cocolife yung account name) with a specified amount of 6000 pesos to be paid daw. My partner replied kung para saan yung 6000.
She also told me na aside from the premium that she paid last year for the policy, meron rin siyang binayaran na 6000 pesos and she forgot kung para saan yun (probably ito yung tinutukoy nung nagmessage)
Nagreply yung taga Cocolife, sabi niya na once ma-settle daw yung payment (at dapat within the day) magbibigay daw sila ng certificate na proof na covered na daw siya ni Cocolife until 2026.
I told her na hindi mag comply baka scammer yan. Hindi naman nag follow up yung taga Cocolife as of today.
Yung nakakatakot lang ay alam ng taga Cocolife yung birth day ng partner ko. The agent also asked if pwede bang i-deduct nalang sa CIMB account ng partner ko yung payment which is in the first hindi nag disclose yung partner ko sa Cocolife na meron siyang account sa CIMB which is terrifying.
I don't know if merong naka experience rin ng ganitong incident, or awareness nalang din para sa iba.
Where do you think Philam Life can be better at? In terms of products and services. Just doing research now on different insurance companies. Sun Life is the best insurance company in PH imo. :)
This may be HIPAA-related, but that subreddit's content didn't seem relevant to my question. Suggestions for other subreddits are welcome.
Suppose I was going to be starting a treatment that I could get covered by my own plan once I age-out later this year, but I wouldn't want to 'out' myself regarding this treatment to the policyholder (a parent). Is there any way, i.e. mail/notifications or changes in payments, that the policyholder could discover this treatment?

Is it possible for someone to get home insurance policy for a house (paid off) they live in but aren't on the deed? For example a parents house?
Hey y'all, I am wondering if this is correct or not. Please explain thank you!
England Hi,
So, I have got an insurance policy with Admiral of which I am the policyholder but I am not the main driver of the vehicle, the named driver is. Given that this may be a loophole, I have discussed this with admiral and they have said that there is no issue with my insurance set up, I also have copy of transcript saved incase legal trouble.
ANYWAYS, my question is if I have an accident, will the named driver also have their NCD reduced as well as mine? (I have checked the insurance policy booklet and have not found information that could answer my question)
Cheers in advance
EDIT: To update everyone who might find my situation interesting as it may help them. At least with Admirals case, the main driver is the person who drives the vehicle the most, and the policyholder does not have to be the registered keeper of the vehicle, same to be said as the main driver. So, technically, yes, you could very much get away with it if you are young and you want to earn NCD on the cheap by being the policyholder while the main driver being someone else as it is very hard for them to know who actually uses the car the most (not endorsing, just pointing out). I have updated my information with Admiral, changing the main driver to myself. Surprisingly, the cost of insurance did not increase, just the excess (from Β£300 to Β£450 I believe) and also the admin fee for the change (Β£25). but that's all.
Hope this helps anyone with similar circumstances!
I'm moving abroad again in just under a month and am looking to get property insurance for myself and also my girlfriend. I know we can cover all of our belongings under one policy with one of us as the policyholders.
We want to both be the policyholders as extra proof of cohabitation in addition to our leases since we aren't married and don't have a joint bank account (dont want one unless we are married) and there seem to be more and more roadblocks we run into in certain countries that don't have the same American concept of pre-marital cohabitation.
It's a very niche question, I know, but if anyone has any experience with this it would be helpful to hear your recommendations
If the policyholder truly loved his wife, he would have taken the time to write down her middle name. He didn't, so I can only assume this is what he wanted.
