A list of puns related to "Pina Colada"
I made my first order with gamersupps and I got a 60 serving tub of dragon fruit punch which I tried before in a sample pack and a 100 serving tub of Pina colada has anyone tried it and if so is it any good
Anyone know of any restaurants near UofT that sell pina coladas?
Thanks, Iβm not getting through this semester sober
I've eaten at the same restaurant in my neighborhood about 30 times. I usually have the same server/co-owner who knows I'm vegan. If someone at our table orders something like a vegetarian appetizer she'll say, "you can eat this part but the dipping sauce isn't vegan." She's very conscientious for me. The first time we went I asked if the mango colada was okay for me and she said yes. I've ordered it every time since, assuming it's like every other colada and made with coconut cream.
Tonight we went in and some rude dude we'd never seen before sat us and served us. I said, can I please have a mango colada? He said, no coladas. We're not busy enough enough to be stocking dairy. I said, there's dairy in the colada!!?!? He said, uh yeaaaaaah..... and just walked away.
My husband said, don't worry. I think he doesn't know what's in them. I think he's new.
I started searching recipes online and couldn't find any colada recipes with dairy. This is a very authentic Malaysian restaurant so I can't imagine they'd veer off the standard recipe??
I'm calling to confirm tomorrow with the owner.
I've got the rum. I've got the pineapple juice. I'm struggling with which kind of coconut liquid to add. There are 4 types of coconut liquid that I'm aware of:
Cream of coconut - not available in any shops that I've found (in Australia), may be available online but won't arrive in time. This is what most/all recipes refer to, often just calling it 'Coconut cream' despite them being very different products.
Coconut cream - NOT the same as Cream of coconut.
Condensed coconut milk (sweetened).
Coconut water
Are 1 and 3 the same thing? Can any of 2,3,4 be used as a substitute for 1?
Someone please help me decipher this mess :(
Or should I just go buy white rum? If yes, what's a good brand of white rum?
I'm visiting Naples next year and am hoping to find a restaurant with something on the menu like coconut fish or a pina colada fish? I had a Pina colada fish years ago on Marco and have always wanted to find it again. The restaurant on Marco that had it, Kretchs, doesn't seem to have it anymore. Anyone know of a place?
