Welcome to what is likely to be a wild night in by-election world. Three provinces, three by-elections, and a whole lot of fun.
Starting in Quebec, we have a by-election in Outremont to fill the vacancy left by Tom Mulcair (NDP) who retired to take an academic and political pundit posting.
In Ontario, we have a by-election in York-Simcoe to fill a vacancy left by Peter van Loan (CPC) who resigned to enter the private sector.
Finally, in BC, all eyes are on Burnaby South, where a by-election will be held to fill a vacant seat left by Kennedy Stewart (NDP) who ran successfully to be Mayor of Vancouver.
Polls close in Outremont and York-Simcoe at 9:30pm ET / 6:30pm PT and in Burnaby South at 10:00pm ET/ 7:00pm PT.
Unlike previous threads I've done, given the amount of by-elections and candidates, I will not have a live tally of votes in this post - but there are links below to take you to live results. Once the dust has settled, I will update this on Tuesday with the final numbers and vote swings.
