A list of puns related to "Ossification"
Are bone ossification centers needed to be memorized in the first year of Anatomy MBBS or Med School?
I am an incomplete Quadriplegic who developed heterotypic ossification around both hips. I am preparing for surgery to have it removed around my hips. It has caused me to lose range of motion and the ability to do PT. Has anyone had experience with the surgery and the recovery afterwards?
I don't know the steps to intramembrane and endochondral ossification, is there a better was to remember the steps?
Edit: puberty only started doing anything visual rrrr late for me (17ish) along with i have a hormonal problem which could factor into this
(Hrt 4 months, age 20)
Ive noticed my hips look larger even tho i havent gained any fat there, i can also close my legs without feeling squished either
Ive read that ossification finishes at 17-20 for amabsβ¦am i just really lucky and i started hrt at the perfect time?
Like there some pain but its not as bad as growing pains I remember feeling in my legs
What may be a possible cause of the formation of a heterotopic ossification when there are no prior surgeries or injuries to the area as well as no prior injury to the Brian or spinal cord?

Anyone have any info or experience with ANY peptides preventing or minimizing HO? Specifically looking for something like TB500 post op to speed healing and mitigate post op HO.
It's a Friday evening and I'm a bit tired, but here me out. Finished reading CL49 a couple days ago but a thought kept nagging me.
There's been a lot of discussion about informational entropy (randomness --> order) as a concept in this book. But, I haven't seen this concept applied to the battle between Thurns & Taxi and Trystero anywhere. So I'll take a stab at it.
I view the Trystero as a group that has bought into the idea of delaying the inevitable. The inevitable in this case being the direct control over information. Whether it is out of altruism or something more sinister (i.e. to supplant the existing power structures) is up to interpretation (sorry if I'm not making my thoughts clear).
This is where the internet comes in. It was first this glimmer of hope -- a medium for information flow unhindered by the powers that be. But over time, even the internet has ossified, the innovation that we were used to seeing here, has by and large gone by the wayside. The Internet's controlled now -- like the postal system and Thurns&Taxis. This is the parallel that I draw -- again though I haven't yet had the time to flesh this out more.
