A list of puns related to "Ocg"
So as a returning player to the TCG, I just realized how anti-player oriented the TCG is.
I understand why the split was made at the beginning, since it would be counterproductive to release 3 years worth of sets in a single year.
But I don't see any reason, other than profit for the split after maybe 2005/2006, when the TCG had almost caught up via merging sets.
Sure, translating cards takes time, but let's be honest fan sites have been translating cards for decades in less than a day.
Then there are all the advantages the OCG has, let's list them, shall we?
I left out the banlist, since I'm not competitive enough to know which one is better, but I would prefer a uniformed banlist. Also, I may be biased since my Lightsworn deck loves Snow and Grass is Greener.
If I missed anything that favors either side I'm interested to hear your guys opinions.
I want to slowly accrue a DM fusion for every old school monster.
Which says a lot on which was unbalanced. I think Konami did a good job on banning Dragoon and FD. Dragoon's case is because, even if REF is good, the end product was the problem which is a pretty strong boss monster. While in the case of DPE, it was the ease of use for a monster that pops a card every damn turn.
Now, with FD gone and the REF target gone as well, current Verte targets include at most: Branded Fusion wherein the best you can do is Mirrorjade dragon with Albaz from deck and verte on the field which provides interruption and makes your opponent think twice in removing it in the field. It is much better to draw Branded Fusion than to use verte. The upcoming Ghost Fusion may be a candidate but it only takes 1 zombie from the deck and banishes it. Not a lot of Zombie fusion targets for it.

27 cards and 10 days away is a high number. usually there are only like 5 or 7 cards left. What archetypes do you all expect to see support for with the remaining 27 cards?
https://www.yugioh-card.com/en/gameplay/2021_rules_update.html
Most events were already operating with these rules, but moving forward all sanctioned events will now abide by these changes.
It's nice to have confirmation.
Do you all think there will be more legacy support revealed? Or do you think it will be solely new stuff and more lore?
Just sorted through my Japan OCG holos and looking to start selling them, have more than 1000 holos and am looking for information on them or anyone looking to buy. Can private message pictures and videos to anyone interested. Open to offers on individual cards or collection, UK based

I know white papers are important and I'll make an exception for those on subjects that I struggle with. But I've never been able to pass a cert by reading through an OCG for it. I'm wondering which video courses you guys recommend to take in conjunction with Boson test material. I've seen the INE CCNP Review course and the CBT Nuggets course discussed a lot. Are there others I should be considering?
The ocg and tcg meta game are two completely different beast donβt get that twisted, however there are things from the ocg ban list that I much prefer over the tcg. Like for example hitting actual problem cards like Dragoon because there very little reason for it to not be there already since it been a problem for so long. The semi limited being actually used with understandable cards on it. Etc.
Should I go straight to the second book, or would it be more valuable to do a review of each part before moving on?
I didn't take notes, but have been using Anki flash cards. If I do review I was thinking of doing two parts a day, either going back through and highlighting or taking written notes.
What would you recommend as the best way to retain everything?
The download for chapter by chapter OCG flash cards has been broken for some time. I took few hours and got these corrected. I hope this makes some people happy, I spent too much time doing this haha. Enjoy.
