A list of puns related to "Oblique Type"
I think it could be strong as keeping distance and pressure but I donβt wanna be the oblique kick guy of course. I was taught the forward movement stopping technique where you put your foot on their thigh facing your toes outward but I feel thats less effective
I know that the graph of function x+(x^2+x)^1/2 has both a horizontal asymptote and an oblique asymptote.
But can a graph has both three types? If yes, can you prove it and give me an example? If no, can you explain to me why?
Thanks.

Oblique Muscles are part of the abdominal muscles Anatomy. The muscles are actually located between the pelvis area up to the ribs.
Having tight abs is probably high and on your list of priorities if youβre reading this. But having tight abdominal muscles is entirely a different story. As a matter of fact, it can create a lot of dysfunction in your other lifts and workouts.
The muscles in your Core, particularly the internal and external obliques, and your rectus abdominis β the Six-Pack muscle β is actually going to cause a problem for a lot of your other lifts if theyβre allowed to become short and tight.
All the core muscles become short and tight pretty easily because of two things. Number one: we hardly ever stretch our abs. Secondly: we sit a lot. Either weβre driving in a car on our commute to work, or while weβre at work, weβre sitting. Even in the night, we sit a lot. All this allows these muscles to become a little bit tight.
But what can we actually do to address this issue? The solution is simple; Start Performing Oblique Stretches.
I'm due to be induced Friday, as baby number 2 is LGA, measuring 3 weeks ahead. 8lbs7oz and 40w4days at just 37w4days. I'll be 38w4days for the induction.
Unfortunately he is also in an oblique lie and possibly posterior position. Because of this, the doctors want to perform an ECV at the same time as the amniotomy to hopefully make baby engage in my pelvis. They'll then start the oxytocin drip immediately to create strong contractions so baby stays engaged.
The biggest risk is that there will be a cord prolapse, which will make me a category 1 caesarean All fingers and toes are crossed that this goes smoothly and is not as traumatic as it sounds...
Has anyone else gone through this? Did you end up having a natural delivery, or did it you need a caesarean?
I am using Garamond to write my CV and it's great, except for the fact that the italics look very unappealing. Interestingly, my friend has used Garamond in her CV and the italics looked just fine there, so I was a bit perplexed.
Quick googling led me to this Wiki article on oblique vs italic type, which in fact uses Garamond to illustrate the difference.
So it looks like my friend's CV uses the much nicer looking (as far as Garamond is concerned) oblique type. Is there a way I could use this instead of regular italics?
I've started learning Spencerian but want to get an oblique holder to make my life easier. Only thing is, I'm not sure what type is best or where to get one. I've checked my local supply store but they only carry the speedball holders.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
So guess whatβIβm in my late thirties, single by choice for life, still Thinking Very Hard about buying a condo. Iβm truly inexperienced at this, as of now kicking tires on Zillow (a bit on the nose here and worth a watch).
Of course those agents are skeevy, Iβm shy and wary, inventory is extremely depleted. While my income is low-ish for around here ($130K for now), Iβm extremely frugal and carry no debt. Also Iβm one of those annoying people who has a good shot at coming into solid down payment territory this year through a tech IPO.
Should I wait on the stock to flow? Should I consult with a bank now? Or a reputable agent? Do such folks have access to inventory that doesnβt pop up on predatory apps?
I know a lot of these questions surround fairly generic territory. But what has been your experience purchasing in the Bay?
Edit: Thanks for your input, everybody. Just reading over these comments and suggestions, Iβm seeing how naive I am for now. In most cases I donβt have concrete answers for you guys, which is telling. But Iβm definitely getting some good ideas on what to think about.
I think my first step will have to be just talking with people I know who are wiser than I am. Also, to clarify, Iβm looking for 2br-type units. Nicer than an apartment, but doesnβt need to be so by much.
My company is (obliquely) suggesting May for the IPO. So I have time to think about this. Ah, the fickleness of the housing market, and these rando tech companies.
If youβve ever wanted to play Chopin on the piano or need some advice for his more difficult works, this article is for you. The first 5 points cover some of the techniques you need to master to play Chopin on the piano, and the second 5 points focus on expression, how to take your playing from being just note correct to a piece of beauty.
Chopinβs work is beloved for its depth of expression that is just built in to the music itself. These five points will help you tap into that and show you how you can begin to interpret the music in your own unique way.
This might seem like a obvious one, but the tricky part comes with knowing what level you are as a pianist and what level a piece is.
The goal should be to work on a few pieces at a time: one that you can nail in a couple of weeks, one that will take a month, and one that will likely take longer. You can use level numbers to help you figure that out, but itβs also important to pay attention to the specific skills that you struggle with the most, as that will add learning time onto pieces that have those skills (at least until you get comfortable with them!).
Examples of skills would be fast arpeggios, chromatic scales, homophonic (chordal) playing, large leaps, things like that.
While you can use the many level numbering systems out there to serve as a sort of guide, you do need to also look through a piece and pay attention to the skills youβll need to play it.
If you havenβt played any scales at all ever, itβs probably not a great idea to play the Etude in A Minor, Op. 25 No. 11, βWinter Wind,β for example. Itβs full of fast arpeggios and scales that go up and down the entire length of the piano.
Etude in A Minor, Op. 25 No. 11, βWinter Windβ
If youβre new to Chopin, Alfredβs has a great book of his easier pieces: Chopin: An Introduction to His Piano Works.

There is no consensus on what a Cricket scorecard graphic (scorebug) should look like, nor would there be any on such a subjective matter, which is why we have so many innovative and sometimes weird designs. Still, I believe we can all agree on what information it should include by default. If someone missed the beginning of a match/session, it should be possible for him/her/them to just look at the scorebug and understand the state of the match, which would need
The score Run Rate in 1st innings, Target while chasing, Lead/Trail in innings 2 & 3. Overs & innings Current batsmen and who's on strike Current bowler and stats Over stats
An ideal scorebug should display all this in a legible, consistent, aesthetically pleasing manner without distracting the viewer, while taking up as little screen space as possible.
https://i.imgur.com/Xy4FphJ.jpg
Area : 9% (of total screen)
Thought this should be the first, considering this is something everyone must have seen regardless of where youβre. It covers every one of the essentials. The bottom panel shows RR in the 1st innings, the equation when the chase is on, and trail/lead in the 2nd and 3rd innings during Tests. You can always tell which innings is going on. Itβs legible, with good contrast. The colors are always neutral, and except for the crappy color scheme of the WTC final, itβs easy on the eyes and generally good.
Where it falls apart is in size and consistency. 9% of the total screen is a bit too much for my taste, and the space isnβt even put to good use. The flags of the teams can easily be incorporated into the centre panel and those appendages on the sides can be removed. Itβs just wasted space.
Also, weβre pretty used to seeing the score at the bottom left of the screen. This scorebug meanwhile, makes an appearance once in two years and asks the viewer to get used to scores in the middle, and as weβre getting used to it, the score just moves to the left, where it should always have been, cause with it in the middle, there isnβt much space for extra info.
6/10. Needs some improvement, but itβs okay.

I have decided to post important Tidbits for the Ultimania books that may have been overlooked by much of the fandom. This is post #2.
Previous Post: Cloud and Sephiroth Carry the Burden of the "Universe of Creation & Destruction" - FF7R Materials Ultimania Discussion
In the Final Fantasy VII Remake Ultimania (the first one they released) , in the section discussing the 4 different ways Sephiroth manifests himself, it mentions that the Sephiroth at the Edge of Creation addresses himself in a peculiar way:
>IMPORTANT NOTE FROM THE BOOK: THIS Sephiroth addresses himself as "ore δΏΊ" (me) instead of "watashi η§," which is the pronoun he used 5 years BEFORE he met Jenova...
>
> https://twitter.com/aitaikimochi/status/1256221924532916228?s=20 (thanks /u/aitaikimochi)
Many have speculated that this means that Sephiroth is currently not under the spell of JENOVA and instead has maintained his own original identity. We'll explore what this could mean later. However, I want to point out that this development of Sephiroth starting off using "ore", then using "watashi" after his JENOVA awakening, and then here at the EOC suddenly reverting back to "ore" is not actually a new concept. FF7 OG also seems to have had this distinction in mind. Thanks to u/TurquoiseHammer for his amazing translations of the FF7OG Ultimania Omega. See below for an important excerpt:

I'm going to break the synthesis up into a short series of posts over the next few days as it will otherwise probably be too long for most readers to digest easily.
Paul Hill was a rocket scientist for NACA/NASA in the 1950s, and developed the first tilt-to-control flying platforms to model UFO flight characteristics with conventional propulsion technology.
Hill had two sightings of UFOs during his life, the first of which was on July 16, 1952, near the Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. When Hill reported his first sighting to his boss at NASA, his boss asked him whether he had been drinking and dismissed Hill's observations. Hill was unperturbed, however, and began an unofficial effort to collect data from other NASA scientists who had their own encounters. Hill then set about trying to prove UFOs conform to the the laws of physics rather than defying them, as part of a strategy to make the scientific community take reports of UFOs more seriously.
Hill lays down his theory of how UFOs work in his book, Unconventional Flying Objects: A Scientific Analysis, which was not published until after his death. Hill never saw a penny from his book; his theory is a pure exercise in scientific inquiry, for which he received zero credit or public acclaim during his lifetime.
What's in a name?
As you can tell from the title of the book, Hill preferred not to use Captain Edward Ruppelt's term "UFOs." Hill argued the craft where not "unidentified" (because observers did in fact identify them as unconventional craft), and that the use of "flying" obscurred the reality the craft were capable of transmedium travel in water and outer space, as well as in Earth's atmosphere. However, Hill did favor the use of "object" to describe the craft, because the craft are physical things. According to Hill's analysis, UFOs are not a projection of some Jungian universal consciousness, or an aparation or hallucination or trick of the eye; they are physical craft similar to human aircraft: metallic and hard; dense and massive.
[I agree with Hill the craft are physical objects, and believe the switch in language to "UAP" and "the phenomena" is part of a MIC strategy to dilute the topic of nuts-and-bolts craft with werewolves and ghosts and other bullshit. Consequently, I am going to refer to UFOs hereafter as "field-vectored cr

I've been on the hunt for some more finds, similar to the one's I posted here, for a little while now. As links and stores come and go through AE -- I figured it was time to replenish and expand my findings to share with you all... I also really enjoy exploring the depths of replica's on Ali (I go through phases alternating Aliexpress & DHGate, and i've been stuck on AE for months! I've always loved going through the Finds posts on here so It's my goal to spark that same joy I felt into someone else's life. One more thing I'd like to note before moving forward; I'm always open to suggestions and advice for formatting these little posts. I am still learning the posting guidelines so if you spot anything out of place please let me know so I can improve!

Hey y'all! Last summer I used to do these types of posts for Competitive Apex while spending time coaching an AM team - they were well received and thought I'd take a crack at some content for this sub now that Halo is back.
Full disclosure: I am not currently competing or coaching in Halo, just going off my current knowledge of the game, some healthy discussion on my analysis is encouraged! -- with that said, lets jump in.
We're going to pick up the game 3/4 of the way through...when it looks like SEN can close it out easily. Couple notes first on the early game though..
Early Game:
Macro game plan for SEN appears to be control A & C, coordinate pushing left through purple to defend and re-take A if necessary. Ignore B (in the clip below you can hear Frosty calling for PJ to hop off of B and at multiple times in the game they walk right by it)
- Makes sense, ensures control of Bulldog/Stalker/Drop-wall-thing. Makes it easy for 1 person to solo hold A or C
- Whoever is not getting pressured can crossfire from A -> C, or C->A. Can roam through mid to collapse or support
- SEN actions it really well with only a couple good rally moments by Pioneers (shoutout to them, they play hard on the Objective!)
https://clips.twitch.tv/KitschyObliqueTaroUncleNox-Epod5DZKGyZiqiDh
Everything looking smooth...
Score is 209-178 for Sentinels.
- Snakebite has rockets
- They have A & C, its 3-up on each team
- Frosty has stalker & shotty on C
- Easy win... right!? Well. they don't quite have the map position they need...
