A list of puns related to "Nitrome"
ALREADY FOUND, JUST CAN'T EDIT THE FLAIR
There was this game by nitrome where you used a custom character, and traversed a dungeon. It was 2d pixel art with auto scroll. It had something to do with "punch" in the title
Sadly it only works on Windows as far as I know. If you want to run it yourself you will need to download python if you don't have it yet. Then download my script: https://www.mediafire.com/file/4fumahmix72rskk/Nitrome+with+script+sharable+finished.rar/file
After you downloaded it unzip the folder. This should create a folder called Nitrome with script sharable. Go into this folder and double click _run.bat, if python is installed properly it should create all the icons automatically. If the icons are too small you can click view and select large icons:
Please note that I do not own the swf's and I just found them on archive.org
If you run into errors feel free to send me a message or comment it here, I will try to help.
If you double click the shortcut and it tells you to select something to open it with you can select one of the flash player versions I included in the folder under Nitrome with script sharable/Nitrome/_README
Enjoy :)
For anybody wondering how I made this here is a small explanation:
I started off by downloading all the icons of the games from Nitrome's site, they were all png's so I used an online converter to turn them into .ico files. These ico files can be used to change the image of a shortcut so I wanted to make shortcuts to all the swfs and give them the thumbnail of the ico. I found out you can use python to create shortcuts and define their thumbnails, so I wrote a script that finds all games in the folder, creates a shortcut to the swf of the game and adds the appropriate ico of the game.
What are your favorite nitrome themes/level music? Iβd say mine are Frostbite and Skywire
The PixelLove page: https://archive.org/details/pixellove_by_nitrome
(I noticed a few of the pixellove flash games were missing, when I tried finding them I found out they don't work because of the integrated ad service)
The Nitrome Jam page: https://archive.org/details/Nitrome_Jam
Some games seem to be missing in both archives because they are html5 games or unity web games, so those are still playable on the original site.
They also have some other archives on their page by the way ;)
Thanks in advance!
I tried to download them using /game/<name of game>/<name of game>.swf This only worked for a few of them for the most part I just redirected me to the home page. Any suggestions
Hi. I am wondering, if there is any way to play nitrome's flash games in 2021, particularly Flipside. If possible, playing it offline would be great. I have searched around and found some flash emulators, but none seem to work :/
I'm trying to figure out how to play the intro jingle from Nitrome's games on piano. Anyone more talented than me out there who could help me with this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ind7vcEehL4
Mainly Double Edged and NMD... I read that some people recommend Bluemaxima's Flashpoint, so i will try that. But just in case, is there any other way? Thanks!
Hey everyone. I have archived over 1500 flash games so far. One thing im sad about is not being able to archive Nitrome ones. They all have a sitelock. I even went as far as emailing Nitrome but no response.
Has anyone been able to remove the sitelock from atleast one game? Theyr such good games, its sad that I cant preserve them.
Mine was Rubble trouble tokyo
I used to play on Nitrome all the time when I was younger, and the music left such a distinct impression on me. But I remember hearing Kids by MGMT on the radio one day and thinking that it sounded exactly like a song from a Nitrome game. Was one of the game's songs like a 1:1 chiptune cover of Kids or is my memory just not what it used to be? does anyone else remember?
Thanks!

There was this game I use to play as a kid, it was on Nitrome. It was also a flash game so I donβt even know if it can be played or found still, but I canβt remember the name of it.
Basically you were playing as a morotcycle and you were racing against 2 or 3 other motorcycles that could bump into you. Iβm also pretty sure that the motorcycles themselves were designed to where they could be driven upside down or right side up. The design mirrored itself when flipped is what I mean. There were different colors as well but I donβt know if you could change it. The POV of the game was on the side, not top down. The courses were somewhat long with a bunch of ramps and loops and such, and they were also neon colors of sorts.
Does anyone have any clue what this game is called?
flash is gone now and guess what they should have hurried up hell they shouldn't have messed with flashpoint because they had a choice to either A be left in the flash is gone apocalypse or B be preserved GOD it makes me want to punch the wall. This is The two people's fault for making a bad dicussion!
just wondering
Edit:While I appreciate the upvotes,I would prefer a feedback.Did it happen to anybody else?Did the nitrome studio say anything about this? This only happened in the nitrome main site, not in other flash games(not even nitrome games played elsewhere)
