A list of puns related to "Neutrophils"
I followed the instructions on the scrap of paper. Now I've got a password and no phone number. Googling various combinations of Taversen, Bolker, Mullins, Vermanen, Netrophil gives me nothing. Am I missing a clue? Should I just be patient? Any ideas, fellow Runner 5s?
PS: How cool is the netrophil/neutrophil pun? What a great name for an imaginary anarchist bioterrorist twitter group.
I only had the one AC dose 10 days ago and took the bone stimulating injection the next day. I am scared that my body is not taking it well with the chemo and more scared of how my body will response after the coming chemo sessions one after the other (AC x4 then Taxol 12) if only after the first and the numbers are super low . I am scared from infection and ED visit.
Is there anything I can do to improve my white blood cells and neutrophils?
Currently learning immunology and my professor doesnβt have a good answer. Is there a functional reason or is it just βbecause thatβs how they areβ?
Hi there! Iβm curious if anyone has had high platelets and/or high neutrophils? If so, did the numbers resolve, remain the same, or get worse? TIA
I went to the doctor a few years ago with lifelong diarrhea. They ran blood tests and told me everything was normal, no celiac, no inflammation markers. Told me to take immodium as necessary, nothing else could be done. I've just managed to track down my medical record which got lost when I changed doctor's office, and it turns out several of my results were outside of normal range - not far outside, but they're flagged as abnormal results. Should I bring this up with a new doctor and/or ask for a repeat of these tests?
My symptoms have remained the same throughout my life: multiple loose bowel movements every day, with watery diarrhea if I stray outside of bland, white-carb-heavy diet.
20, male. Im a bit worried about the results of a blood test from 2019 and one that I got recently. In both blood tests I got 52/55% of lymphocytes (which according to the results is higher than normal), and 37/35% of neutrophils (lower than normal). Absolute counts are within normal ranges (4.00/4.31 x10^3/ul lymphocytes, 2.83/2.73 x10^3 neutrophils), but the percenteages being higher than normal scare me because I have looked for causes for this and one of them was leukemia. The rest of the blood test was normal, total counts of both red cells and white cells are normal. Platelets are normal, and the volumes of red and white cells and platelets are normal as well. I feel fine, no symptoms of anything. I am not taking any medication, and barely have any allergies, though I am allergic to cats and I live with cats
Anyone knows what could be causing this and if I should worry about it? I can provide more specific info about both blood tests if needed
Thanks ^^

I've yo-yo'd back and forth between thinking I have been dealing with withdrawal problems from Lexapro, and COVID, but I've never heard of Lexapro causing blood work like that.
Wouldn't I also have antibodies as well, if my blood work indicates some sort of chronic infection going on? My health has been so weird for the past year and a half. My hematologist didn't seem concerned, but I've told him I've felt sick over and over. No clue.
I ALWAYS forget these
I recently read some studies that shows fasting can lower neutrophils and WBC.
Is this true?
Does anyone here have low WBC and/or neutrophils because of intermittent fasting?
How can one distinguish the effects of IL-8 and IL-17 on neutrophils?
Thank you.
Hello docs! I recently had a blood test that came with the following results: 36.8% neutrophils out of a 38-80% range (so considered low) and 52.3 lymphocytes out of a 15-49% range (so considered high). What could this mean? I unfortunately googled this and heard some nerve wracking possibilities, like leukemia. I am 29, male, works out regularly, non smoker and casual drinker with no prior tests results showing something like this (at least to my recollection). Thank you so much in advance! π
