A list of puns related to "Nba 2k13"
AI feels like I am playing against Komodo Chess Dragon Engine while I am only rated 856ELO. It's ridiculous that my build which is supposed to be nimble has sluggish(irl) defenders acting like magnets. The only viable strategy that works for me now which breaks down defense as if it was glitch in the matrix is simple screen, go around the defender and layup which gets extremely boring after 1-2 matches every day I launch the game but works wonders(I score 40-50 points per game easily). This is just a rant so I have nothing else to say.
What I absolutely loved about 2K13 compared to 2k22 is that you could actually have a unique playstyle. Here you are forced to play one way and it makes me sad because I love basketball...

So, I got NBA 2k13 a few years ago for the PC. I haven't upgraded past that, mainly because I like the simplicity that the older and less clunky 2k games offer. 2k13 is the newest one I have. However, because it is a PC version, I have been able to mod the game to a great extent. I have completely updated all of the teams' rosters (and continue to do so as trades are happening). It is completely updated with ratings, skillsets, in-game menu portraits, and updated cyberfaces. Here are a few photos of some 76ers of the present and the past. Just to note, most of the cyberfaces aren't my own. Some I have slightly tweaked, others I have gotten from the wide modding community (shoutout to all the great cyberface modders out there!). I believe there is only one I did myself (JJ Redick). However, all of the jersey designs were done solely by me (a huge sports aesthetics fan and concept creator), including the Sixers new "Boathouse Row" city edition uniform (rocked by the designer himself). I also took the time myself (even though others have done it) to fully update the rosters, as well as creating my own legendary/all-time rosters for every team (which is why Iverson and Iguodala are wearing Sixers uniforms). Took me awhile to get to this point, but it feels extremely satisfying. In order to make things less tense in here with trade/draft/free agency, I though I would share them with you fine people here. I hope y'all enjoy some Sixers of past and present!
Hello. I am trying to ask wherever possible for help, because after many years, NBA 2K13 has just started crashing whenever I try to run it. It attempts to open and displays a black screen for about a millisecond, then crashes back to desktop.
It's strange that I have NBA 2K11, 2K12 (with the UBR mod), and NBA 2K14 (also UBR and other mods), and these work just fine.
It's worth mentioning that lately my Windows 10 updated (I now have 20H2), and so did my GeForce Experience drivers (GTX 1660 SUPER).
I have tried changing compatibility mode and reinstalling several times, but still no luck.
I'm desperate now, and I have no other choice but to ask here.
Thank you very much in advance!
I can't figure it out and google doesn't seem to be too much help for 360 games atm.
Sorry if this is the wrong sub for this type of question. If there is a better sub please let me know!! :)
Watching "The Last Dance" brought back great memories from childhood watching games from the Dream Team and other ~'91-'93 teams. I have the Wii U and Xbox 360 in my collection and noticed that at least NBA 2k13 includes the Dream Team and NBA 2k14 introduces Pippen (although some sources state he's also available in 2k13).
I am not that interested in real rosters from 2012 / 2013, but more about the classic players from 1988-1993. Which one of these gives you more classic players at your disposal?
where could I find a comprehensive list of classic players included in either one of the mentioned versions?
how can you play with classic players or teams in the games? Are they only available in exhibition matches or is it possible to play with them a full season or in MyCareer/MyTeam mode?
are MyCareer or MyTeam still fully playable or are these online only (and thus nonexistent in 2020)?
are there even better options on Xbox 360/original Xbox/Wii/Wii U if classic rosters are main purpose to buy the game?
My "latest" experience with NBA video games is NBA Live '95 on PC and NBA Jam on Sega Mega Drive/Arcades so I am quite not up-to-date with current games π, but would love to experience the thrills from early ninities with updated graphics.
Hi everyone,
Like I said in the title, my last 2K was 2K13 on Xbox360, I really enjoyed it and, well, after 7 years I'd love to play a NBA game again, but reading online I've been a little discouraged.
I play mostly offline or online game with just friends, not my team or things like that. I really enjoyed the franchise mode in 2K13 taking the no-Bron Cavs and taking them to a three peat managing minutes on the court, trades and so on.
My fear is that, like a read on a couple of reviews, the offline modes are "left behind" in favour of online and p2w modes, is that true? Is 2k20 still enjoyable for an offline player?
Thank you

#21-30 coming Thurs 14 August
I used to play NBA 2K13 on my old Xbox. Eventually sold everything to get a new system. Now I'm older and I purchased a Xbox 360 to play NCAA Football 14. I have NBA 2K13 again but I cannot download the updated end of the year rosters.
Those rosters were my favorite, as I was used to the updated ratings for some players, and I would love to use the official end of season 2K13 ratings.
Is there any way to download these rosters on a PC and transfer to my Xbox? I cannot seem to download them on my Xbox from 2K.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Not sure what other games do it but I love how you get quick shots of the crowd reacting to the game as you win or lose. So far the most excited I've seen them get is high fiving and doing the wave but a friend insists that if you get a real blow out score on another team's court you'll see the men remove their shirts and fight as the women throw popcorn and drinks on one another. How true is this, and is it possible to shatter the backboard (another dubious claim of his)?
Here we are, in the final days of 2K13.
I personally won't be buying 2K14 (current gen) and I don't believe I'd be willing to shell out cash for next gen... but I'd be more than willing to share my PSN username in case anyone wants to play! (seeminglyrandom)
Since NBA Live is possibly making a return, if this is an ongoing weekly thread, I might change the name to Virtual/Video Game Wednesday (also to make room for the usual TRASH TALK THREADS)
PLEASE POST NBA VIDEO GAME LINKS ON THIS THREAD OR ON /r/NBA2k
Regular /r/nba rules still stand on this thread.
My opinion:
Cover:
LeBron James - it's time to stop putting currently untouchable legends on the cover, at some point we have to return to the present day stars
Improvements:
Running with the theme from the cover but staying consistent with the past two iterations focusing on legends, I think that NBA 2K13 should blend the legends modes with today's stars. Keep the teams of years past selectable like they are, but I think we should start looking at today's stars.
I'd love to be able to literally play LeBron's first game with commentary all being as if it were 2003 (not looking back). I'd love to play LeBron's first return to Cleveland after going to Miami. Then I'd love to play game 5 of this year's Finals.
Kobe would get 3 marquee moments as well, spanning his career. (By the way, think of these games like the Jordan mode from 2k11 - I thought those were great.)
Looking past those two clear cut choices, maybe Wade would get a few moments? I only hesitate to add more because I'm not sure how much budget/time 2K would have for this many moments. It'd be cool to play the final game of the 2006 championship run, that epic duel LeBron and Wade had where they both scored 40+ points (make it like a boss battle), and then perhaps that shared game 5 of this year's Finals.
I'd even like to play some games with Durant as a Sonic, and a few others of his.
The hard part here becomes which current superstars to include. But my point is that I'd love to see the same treatment from the past two NBA 2k games with current day superstars in their shining moments. I want history lessons about today's players - it would serve as a very relevant reminder of the people we still see today. I bet I'd learn a thing or two about these stars I know.
Oh, and get Charles Barkley in the game!
get rekt losers
As someone who was already sick of playing against the Thunder and Heat every other game, I find the Dwight Howard trade deeply saddening.
