Velez introduced voluntary ticket sales so that the fans could help the club throughout the crisis even though no fans are allowed to enter the stadium. One of the more noticeable names to take part in this action is Meho Kodro, a former Velez, Barcelona and Real Sociedad striker, is just one of the big names to have helped the club by purchasing a large amount of tickets.
With this beautiful story on one end, it's worth mentioning that the Bosnian Premier League is going through some very difficult moments (cue always has been meme) as the new football federation chairman is pushing all efforts towards Borac winning the title, as they get dubious penalties in their favour, as well as suspicious refereeing overall match in and match out.
Velez are very well aware of this, so they asked for a foreign referee to handle this match, because the referee who was assigned to take on this derby has a horrifying history of blatantly helping Borac get to where they are now (first division and top of the table).
Unfortunately, the expected did happen, and as Velez led the match going into the 88th minute, Grbic took over, giving away a ridicolous penalty for Borac and saving them a point as the match ended 1-1.
To make matters worse, almost all of Borac's fans hate Bosnia and Herzegovina, regularly singing insulting chants towards the country (that they're a part of) and glorifying war criminals with banners in the stands.
Velez's team itself is on a string of historic results as they went 19 matches unbeaten, including the afromentioned match versus Borac last night.
Pozdrav, pripremam se za prijemni ispit za FIT i zanima me ima li neko ko je zavrsio ili pohaΔa, kakva su vaΕ‘a iskustva i kakva su pitanja bila na prijemnom ispitu.
Hvala unaprijed!
Sorry for my endless questions guys, lol.
So I bought a return ticket, the lady who sold me the ticket at the railway station explained me what to do with the ticket in Bosnian, and she added a razumijes? at the end, but I really don't fully razumijem, lol.
What I understood was that I need to take the same ticket to the ticket office in the train station of Mostar to make a reservation for my return. I also understood that the return ticket is valid for 6 days. Here is the issue, users here on r/bih had told me before that trains are never full and that you can buy your ticket 15 mins before the train leaves. And it's true, the train was not full at all. So do I have to validate this ticket here in Mostar a day or 2 days before my trip, or can I just take it and validate it in the morning of my return, like 20 mins prior?
Another question: What is the most logical way to visit Blagaj? And also Kravice? Would it make sense to go to Blagaj with a taxi?
Hvala unaprijed
So me and a group of friends are going to fly to Sarajevo in October, here we will rent a car and drive to Split for a while.
We would arrive on Friday evening in Sarajevo and looking for a good local restaurant with local cuisine and some nightlife. Then on Saturday we would like to do a nice walking tour.
On Sunday morning we will get the rental car and drive to Mostar where we would like to visit some things (not too long) and grab lunch. After this we drive on to Split and I was thinking about passing trough/stopping by Blagaj and/or Kravice Waterfalls.
Question: How long will the border crossing from BiH to Croatia take? Also do I require a passport to cross this border or does my Belgian Identity Card suffice?
We will arrive in Split Sunday evening and will be there for Monday -Thursday. Friday morning we fly back home.
In Split we are looking for advice on the following: -A nice walking tour -Places to visit -A place nearby to do scuba diving (we are all inexperienced) -Do you guys recommend visiting any islands and if so, which? -We would like to do some sort of quad/buggy riding -Rafting nearby
Finally we are also considering doing a day trip to Dubrovnik. Do you guys think it would be worth it considering the long drive?
Hello. This is my first time posting here. I was wondering if anybody knows what will be the best way to get from Mostar to Dubrovnik, Croatia, on a monday, when there donβt seem to be any busses going. If you are or you know somebody who is travelling from Mostar to Dubrobvnik on monday the 14th in a personal vehicle, and you have some seats left, please send me a message. I am willing to pay.
Zanima me da li je teΕ‘ko upasti u onih 55 redovnih studenata? Da li je konkurencija velika? Koliko se studenata pokuΕ‘a upisati? Ε ta bude na prijemnom?
Hey guys,
I am planning on visiting Mostar with some friends from Russia (during our trip in Croatia we want to cross the border and visit Bosnia).
However some people told me that itβs not worth it since the border is like really really busy and it can take 4-5 hours to get in. Could you clarify a bit if itβs true and if yes what time should we go there to cross the border without problems?
Is it easy to pass in general?
Thanks
Hey! I am living in Montenegro and it is on my bucket list to jump off of the bridge. Is it legal for tourists to come and jump. Also, is there enough water this time of year?
Can I get some suggestions for restaurants and pubs with live music in these two cities? I only know City Pub in Sarajevo, and it was great but it was more like modern bands playing there (as far as I had seen). I would like to know if there are some restaurants with live Bosnian folk music, like with accordions and stuff. Please suggest even if the place is cringy but in a fun way. Not looking for anywhere too fancy. I am from Turkey so I enjoy the "tavern" style places where there is alcohol, meze, live folk music and people start dancing with strangers and stuff. π
Hi everyone! I will be travelling within BiH soon and I want to know if I should buy the train tickets now online before my trip. If the trains aren't crowded and it's not a big deal, then I will just buy them at the train station when I go there. What should I do?
Sarajevo - Were he started
Babin Do - where he slept (end of the part 3)
Konjic - the goal after Babin Do
Mostar - the goal
Around 120km and actually google maps doesn't advice anyone to go that part with a bicycle but he done it :D

Currently interrailing in Central Europe. What would be the best route from Mostar to Istanbul? Some trains are suspended due to traveling restrictions, but buses are definitely an option. Iβm just unsure the best route to take. Any help is appreciated.
Zahvaljujem unaprijed!
