A list of puns related to "Moorabbin"
Iβve never been to the shops on Boxing Day, Iβve always had to work. However this year Iβm not and I want some sales! DFO opens at 7am. Is it busy at 7am? Should I just count myself lucky that I donβt have to go near a shopping centre on Boxing Day?
UPDATE: thank you all for your opinions, some of these are very graphic about what people would rather do and itβs made my day hahaha! Iβve come to my senses and will be hopping online instead. For some reason the thought of covid didnβt even cross my mind. I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Christmas and new year :)
About to sign up for RPL/PPL and looking for recommendations. A number of providers have gone bust and looking for the latest advice. Any other tips are welcome. Thank you.
Note that there's been a crash landing at Moorabbin airport. Student pilot, two on board, front landing gear stuck. Plane appears to have landed safely after circling airport to burn fuel.
EDIT: Crew appear unharmed.
EDIT 2: The only news article I can find.
EDIT 3: A Flightradar24 screenshot I took while the plane was circling. All traffic was cleared from the area. The helicopter was there for the incident.
EDIT 4: Video from someone else.

Grape & Grain in Moorabbin told followers of its Facebook account on Sunday that it would not be opening after a staff member tested positive.
>
>"I thought it best to get on the front foot and inform you of the details as I am yet to hear from the [DHHS]," the post said.
>
>"The only shift [the staff member] worked in the past 10 days was Tuesday 29th from 12 - 4. If you were in the store at that time, please monitor for symptoms.
And perhaps worryingly,

>'Not a word': Melbourne bar owner hasn't heard from health authorities despite positive case

>A bar owner in Melbourne's south-east says he is yet to hear from the Victorian health department and has closed his venue as a precaution after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus.

>John Tei, owner of Grape & Grain liquor bar in Moorabbin, said on January 1 a staff member informed him that his partner and partner's father had dined at the Smile Buffalo Thai restaurant in Black Rock on December 21 and had tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member was therefore considered a close contact.

>"From then I shut everything down and we all got tested and thankfully a few have come back negative," Mr Tei said.

While this case has a different MO to Mr Cruel, it happened in a similar area at the time we know he was active. Only last week Police announced a $1 million reward for anyone providing information to solve this case and this has now led to the arrest of a man.
With the 30th anniversary of Karmein Chanβs abduction only days away, could this be an opportunity for the general public to be reminded of the Mr Cruel case, its details and the $1 million reward available for information leading to an arrest? Perhaps a reward for information even if the perpetrator is deceased as well needs to be offered? The victims and families involved deserve closure, whether Mr Cruel is dead or alive.
People hold on to information about serious crimes like this for many reasons. Only recently, the son of the killer of Sharron Phillips has come forward (his father is long deceased), as well as a married couple who now believe they witnessed the same man hiding her body in bushland (they only put two and two together after seeing news about the accused killer years later). Sharron Phillips disappeared from the outskirts of Brisbane in May 1986 when her car ran out of petrol late one night, her body has never been found.
With some of the recent activity in this subreddit and the new information which has been disclosed here (e.g: that Mr Cruel was quite possibly into cross dressing), I feel like there is momentum towards this case hopefully being solved, but until more than just a few true crime fans are aware of all the known details, weβre less likely to have anyone credible come forward with the missing pieces to solve the case.
I just picked up 2 25kg dumbbells and they have plenty more, mainly heavier ones though, some 27s 30s and 40s
