A list of puns related to "Minoa"
Hi fellow fans, I have a theory on the Minoa tree(the mother of the forest). For some context, I am a long time lurker of this sub, I can say confidently I've read the majority of any credible theories and the reasons behind why they were inaccurate or read the explanation from Mr. Paolini on other theories. I am a finish carpenter for high end wood working in homes and have a large amount of time with headphones in my ears. I've listened to the series 18 times and am finishing my 19th currently.
When Saphira and Eragon are trying to wake the Minoa tree to inquire after the brightsteel, it's only after she attacks the tree that Lineya responds. One of the first things she asks Eragon is what he is, not elf, not human, and see the difference between him and Saphira. I think it is fair to say that part of the reason she took notice and responded is partially due to the attack done to her and partially due to her curiosity as to Eragons anatomical existence. * I do not believe she took his ability to have children and have read the counter arguments to this theory *
Eragon describes the sensation that results from their connection being very close to the sacral chakra, which is responsible for reproduction and sexuality. I believe she extracted a more basic element of Eragon(not one that would never come back to him) but as if she were to add it to her "catalog" of organic life. I do not know what she would do with this catalog exactly, but I do believe as the mother of the forest she would inherently have interested in having a store of information on all organic life. Perhaps as a means of giving life back to the earth in the future? Perhaps to just have the information? I am not sure, but I would love to hear any feedback regarding this theory.

Appearance:
Minoa is a man of medium height and build, with a mess of dark brown hair and eyes and fair skin. He usually wears a black and yellow cloak with various patterns and a hood attached to it, along with a metal chain loosely wrapped around his neck and some slightly baggy grey trousers and matching gloves on his hands. He always has a smoking pipe on him, as it seems to be a relic that he uses to fight. His face is looks sharp and inquisitive, as if he knows something you don't, and that if he doesn't, he will.
Personality:
Minoa is a man of many words, most of them compromising, and as a sharp contrast to his looks is very friendly to others around him, willing to help them out on anything they ask for, though sometimes he will be prone to acting tough to save face or prove a point, no matter how inconsequential it many be.
He's likely to reminisce while smoking from his magical pipe, Bulgani, usually about his crew or his family, or even someone he just so happened to meet on the road. He's also soft on people he fights, prone to sparing their lives and always providing an excuse as to why he did, though how convincing it is varies depending on the circumstances.

Backstory:
A villager from the water tribes, Minoa and his friends decided to band together and form a "Pirate Group" that sailed the seas and went where they wanted. In reality they just wanted to explore the world together and hardly do anything pirate-like other than stealing from those who attack them and petty pranks on other passing ships. Minoa was elected as leader of the group, which was called the Covenant Pirates, due to his control over the water getting them out of many tight situations, and his innate kindness making him dependable.
The crew knew that Minoa wanted to take the grandest adventure only Magi could, The Pilgrimage, but was stopping himself since he would hate to leave the others behind for something only he wanted to do, and had been wondering how to get him to follow his heart. Once they landed on the shore to restock, they got news of the banquet and how Accompanying Magi would gain access to the Sanctums, so they devised a plan.

I noticed a lot of people saying how if they do a Flashpoint movie you canβt have Wonder Woman being a bad guy because of how popular she is. The other thing Iβve heard is that the Wonder Woman/Aquaman conflict should happen off screen. I disagree with this because youβre going to make it abundantly clear that this is not how things are supposed to be.
For example you start the movie off with a full on Justice League action scene. You have everyone there saving the day and working together as a big happy family. You have Man of Smiles doing his thing, Gal Gadot smiling and being charming, Ezra Miller cracking jokes etc.
You actually see Gal Gadot in the movie being the good guy version of her. Then when the timeline is corrupted itβs a stark contrast to what had just come before.
Then when the movie ends, you show the whole Justice League as their good selves again as Flash recounts the story of what happened to him.
The movie would start off and end with good Gal Gadot, so I donβt think it would be a problem portraying Wonder Woman this way. Evil Gal Gadot wouldnβt get that much screen time anyway. It would be mostly Ezra Miller and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
I donβt have much confidence in island civs, and Minoa is no exception.
Minoa has one of the smallest settleable areas in the whole game, and as a result, they are likely to struggle as a result. Even the bulk of their settleable land in North Africa is easier for Libya or Nubia to invade than it is for Minoa to defend. Nonetheless, Minoaβs AI is not as much of a pushover as Haiti or the Manx. Minoaβs AI is actually quite skilled at combat, as shown by todayβs Minoa vs. Turks fight. Sadly, even this cannot save them from one of the mapβs worst starts, as Minoa will have to use every bit of tactical know-how they possess to escape their small size.
The Minoans donβt exactly have the strongest neighbors (save for Palmyra, but they arenβt exceptionally naval-focused). While the Turks are good militarists, even they donβt have much room to expand. I would not count the Minoans out of the game of conquest, as they could become a strong Mediterranean power with some well-timed wars. However, their fate largely rests on the dynamic around them, and just one strong coalition war could wipe this island nation out.
With the fear of Turkish encroachment fresh in his mind Basileus Ignatius is quick to look for opportunities to strengthen his empire and unite more Greeks under his banner. Slowly coaching the city-states of the region into his empire is one option but it is one that gains him undeveloped, poorly tended lands that needed much time and effort to make profitable provinces of the empire. So not the best option for him.
But to the south was a fine organized collection of city-states that had mistakenly organized themselves into a republic. Ignatius had a rather dim view of republics after his experience with the Augustan variety. Obviously the situation in this Minoan Republic was much the same and the people would be much better off under his aegis. And so he gathered his generals and set out his plans to bring the Greeks of Minoa back into the fold.
Tl;dr: Empire of the Greeks declares war on the Minoan Republc
The Empire of Minoa is a small Greek nation that hopes to expand during our time on CivEx. If you'd like to view further information on our Empire you can view our forum thread here: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/servers/clans/2659490-the-minoan-empire-military-in-need-of-more
βTHIS ANIME IS GARBAGE..!β yes and so are we.
Got stupid in the end but liked how it all came together.
Welcome back to the weekly Civ analysis and discussion, where we analyze Civs and extrapolate from their performances their place on the AI scale of grandeur! Last part we analyzed Nigeria, and there seemed to be a consensus that we need to go bigger this week. Well, I did, and here is this week's Civ, beloved by /r/civaigames basically as a whole.

Here is a link to their Steam mod page. Minoa is a Civ that /r/civaigames has seen a lot of and seems to really like, but has rarely won a match. Funnily enough, they always seem to do really well in the test games...anyways, they are based off of the historical civilization of Minoa, and are led by King Minos of legend. They were released on January 27, 2015, by More Civilisations.
In-game, Minoa has a few cool uniques.
