A list of puns related to "Milton Keynes"
Been here a few months now and the people are lovely, not seen any really bad areas (although I haven't gone looking) Everywhere is clean and modern and the parks are well maintained Public transport is a bit of a joke but that's not exclusive to MK anyway Why is there a comment on almost every post encouraging people to leave? π What am I missing?

Like many others I've been very worried about the PCSC Bill going through the Lords this week, and it appears there is a Milton Keynes protest this Sunday against it! Putting MK on the map and all that. Hopefully this will be of interest to some more people on here.
Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/654613702398628/
and the instagram that I found to start with: https://www.instagram.com/killthebillmk/
The Bill will expand stop and search powers (making racial profiling more likely/more frequent), criminalise living in vehicles, allow police to declare any protest illegal (organisers can be put in prison for up to 52 weeks as a result). There'll also be a blacklist for anyone who promotes these "disruptive" protests. There's a whole lot more and it's really scary, this article goes into some of it: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2021/dec/01/imprisoned-51-weeks-protesting-britain-police-state
I canβt wait. Iβm going to England for the first time to visit my partner and she bought me with MCR tickets for when I am there. I cannot wait and really wanted to share with you guys.
Hi there!
Being from abroad and living in England for 6 years I recently visited Milton Keynes for the first time. And absolutely loved the city - so many shops, restaurants, things to do- nice central park, very modern and beautiful city. Frequent trains to London and reasonable house prices. The shopping mall is by far the best I saw in the UK.
I like it much more than London and other cities in commuter belt.
Curious to know what do you think. What would be the arguments not to name MK best UK city?
i know some uk dates were moved but iβm seeing people saying different things. (btw the mk dates are around 20-23rd may 2022)
Both tickets including ticket protection cost roughly Β£220- will make available on ticketmaster when possible
