What is Michael Caine's best role?
I'm not even asking. It's Scrooge in A Muppet Christmas Carol. He makes me cry every year. As Ricky Gervais has said, how do you improve on the greatest story ever told? Add Muppets. I'll take it one step further. Add Michael Caine. He effortlessly marries the world of humans and Muppets, and shows such depth of emotion. I love it.

Michael Caine βI mean, I donβt know whatβs going to happen. Iβve got to wait for Boris to come back off holiday. I mean, to do that, to go on holiday right now, itβs unbelievable. Empty shelves. People queueing for petrol. And you think: βWait a minute. Heβs gone to Marbella?ββ

Does anyone else remember Michael Caine doing Campbell soup commercials back in the 90s or early 2000s? I remember making Alfred serving Campbells jokes in reference to his role in Batman
Apparently he wasn't. I can't find anything vaguely similar either.

Michael Caine Admits That It Was His Fault For His First Marriage Breaking Down | Contactmusic.com
I remember reading about this a while ago and it occurred to me that Michael Caine kind of did the exact opposite of Jamesy in leaving his wife and child for his career. Now, that's a complete deadbeat thing to do and all, and I'm not glorifying it; it's just that Caine basically did the exact opposite of "Muh Kids" in pulling that kind of move in that he sacrificed family for his art (while Rolfe has done the opposite).
Oh, and Caine's apparently married to Shakira now according to this article and all here (jk I know it's not THE Shakira).

I don't want to give them a new idea for an emoji, because we'll get 50 variants by next Christmas, but it's really cool seeing Michael Caine hop across the board in this clear event. Kinda wish we got him as a playable emoji, but I'll sleep just as fine at night without it.

Sir Michael Caine confirms that he will still star in Christopher Nolan's movies, despite announcing his retirement: "I'll be in Chris's films. The 'retirement' is apart from Chris Nolan. Because it's only a short 3 or 4 minutes, that's all I do and it's great."
