A list of puns related to "May Bank Holiday"
Bonjour, bonjour. Well, it's obviously not that much of a lazy day, if this is being posted before half-six in the morning. Truth be told, I've been up for quite some time. I watched a bit of QVC, joined a bangin' Twitter Space and am on my second cup of tea. But I think I've used up all of my Sunday energy, so now it's just going to be me on the sofa (living room or garden...the weather will decide for me), chilling and napping.
But right now, I'm indulging one of my favourite 'things' - I love to watch Pilot episodes of series. Doesn't matter what series or if I even end up watching any more episodes. I just enjoy watching the first one, so in case I do decide to dip in at some point, I know everyone's origin story. A channel on Freeview had a 'Pilot day' of all these old series - Hart to Hart, Charlie's Angels, Sue Thomas F.B.EYE, Crazy Like a Fox, and I recorded them. So here we are. I live life on the edge.
What's everyone up to today? BBQ? Long walk? Senseless DIY? Another wild day, knowing that tomorrow is a holiday? Come on in and tell everyone all your business.
Ah, we're in the middle of that magical time of year, when the Bank Holidays are like buses - we've just had Easter, we have this one and another one in a few weeks. Let's not think about the fact that we then have nothing, absolutely NOTHING until August. Let's just revel in today...even if the weather's shit.
What's everyone up to today then? Lie-ins? Walks? Beer/home garden drinkies? Me? For some reason, I can't seem to stop watching the first Avengers film. Watched it twice yesterday, and I've got it on again already. I blame Thor. See, I stumbled across a film called 'Almighty Thor', released the same time as the Marvel version. It was every bit as terrible and low-budget as I'd dreamed. But then I had to watch the real Thor, to cleanse my palate. So here we are.
Anyway, enough of that - come on in and tell everyone all your Bank Holiday Monday business!
Aright, the end of may is here and the sun is shining!
Whatβs the plans for the day? Off to make the most of the good weather? Hiding from the sunshine because you already look like a lobster? Off to work?
Come in for a chat!
It's not because I'm mean spirited, it's because they are all age 40/50 plus, think they're at a festival, and talk really loud over the too loud music about shite that 40/50 plus middle-managers talk about when open a bottle of prosecco, and don't quit until the early hours. Pre-emptive revenge.
Please Mr Blue-sky please tell me why...

At least I got an early ride in before the rain started
Dear Nexonians,
To mark Early May Bank Holiday, some of our partners are taking a break. As a result, you may experience a delay in your fiat withdrawals between April 30 and May 3. All such withdrawals will be processed on May 4.
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
It's a bank holiday in the UK this weekend, hopes are for good weather to see friends and family in. A number of alcohol free beer brewers seem to have discounts for the weekend so I thought I'd add all the deals I've had through email or seen on social media so far into one thread:

Infinite Session - 15% off until the end of the week with CHRIS15 code - https://infinite.beer/

Can't thank you all enough for the support you have been showing. This sub has been a massive reason we have been able to grow over the last year since launching in MAY 2020. Without sounding too cheesy genuinely means a lot to us.
To let you know, we have added a few new products over the last few months and have a quite a few new ones coming soon. Please hit is up if there is anything you would like us to stock.
Aptly, the ancient celebration of MAYDAY was thought to have first originated as the festival of Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers.
To help you celebrate use code 'Thankyou20' for 20% off PAX, DYNAVAP and HOJ LIFE.
Enjoy the festivities folks!
It seems to me that these bank holidays keep coming about in a cluster - why can't we move some to later in the year!?
This said. I'm 4 bottles down, what haps? Grand plans? Rebuilding a shed? Noticed a strange spider infestation in your living room? Planning your neighbors demise? Let us know.
