A list of puns related to "Manchester Derby"
Peter Schmeichel
Peter Schmeichel: "This isn't the same as the game against #LFC, I don't think we'll ever see #MUFC get hammered again like that. "But something's missing. There's some drive not there that should be here, it's a Manchester derby, everybody should be up for it."

"We said Man United needed a quick start and not concede early. After seven minutes they were 1-0 down. It could have been prevented so easily.
Then we saw a 10-minute period after the second goal where City absolutely turned up the charm and had five chances, every one of them was stopped by David de Gea. They can't rely so heavily on their keeper."

Solskjaer: "They played well, they don't give you opportunities to win the ball off them so praise to them but (our) standards need to be raised."

Solskjaer: "At the moment we are (far off the top teams). The demands on me and the players are going to be high and we have to get back to what we started to look like. We have the players to do that."

>"We've moved on from that one, of course, it's gonna be in the history books but we've had a good week, good results away from home, different games, we've got to go in this game believing we can do good things. It's a local derby and everyone knows what's at stake."
>"It's a special one, the last time we had a Manchester derby with fans in the stadium the atmosphere was electric, everyone will still remember that one more than dark moments we had. W

>"When Scott (McTominay) scored that goal in the extra time it was a special moment. It's a one-off game, have to start on the front foot, ready, because a lot depends on who gets on the front foot."
>"The team is very close together and they know they need each other, it's team bonding and the team spirit is important. We've got a great canteen up here but are probably fed up with Mike's food."
>"With all the technology now you expect him to be out for four or five weeks with the scans. It's a blow for us. Raphael has come in and been really really influential. Eric came in last time and was excellent. That's why we have a big squad and cope with absentees."

1β WEβRE OFF!
7β What a finish from Eric Bailly! The cross comes in and a perfect flick guides the ball in with no chance for the goalkeeper! 1-0 City.
18β 85% possesion for City, and i thought it would be more.
26β Unitedβs first chance of the game falls for Ronaldo who hits a brilliant volley which Ederson parries away.

Seems like there is a Manchester derby every week. Which ones really really matter to each fan base? Where is the real loathing? For example, Who would Man Blue fans actually cut off their right arm to beat: Man Red or somebody else? This will help me understand where the humorously imbalanced βrivalriesβ are. Like in American college handegg, there are a lot of in state βrivalriesβ that matter a lot to one school (the bad one) but not really that much to the other, who usually has a real rivalry with a team thatβs also consistently good.
Hi all! I'm in Manchester and going to attend the match tomorrow. I want to go to a bar before the game starts near the stadium.
Any recommendations?
Honestly, Ole is just getting outclassed by Pep and Klopp. The entire team looked clueless. There has been no fixed formation and honestly the entire defense line seemed so mediocre against City. Whoever said Ole should get more time, well what are your views now? Clearly he can't perform against any team with a decent manager. Ole has had enough chances and even now he doesn't even seem to have fixed the formation and the team. His plan is "Go defensive against good teams, offensive against bad teams." How is the team is going to play like that? Honestly it's so frustrating to see United in a situation like this
Derby 1 (Kazim Richards 70') - 2 (Chong 18', Pellistri 60') Manchester United
Second Half Lineup:
Grant, Galbraith, Tuanzebe, Mengi, Telles, Matic (C), Pereira, Lingard, Pellistri, Shoretire, Hugill
