I've already tried downloading the ISO file on Archive.org but the set up won't run.
It throws me this error: "This app can't run on your Pc. To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher".
Things I've already tried (And obiously didn't work):
-Running as administrator
-Running it with developer settings
-Using compatibility mode for Windows 98-95
(My operating system is Windows 10)
If somebody knows how can I download the full version in a safe way and run it without a virtual machine, I would aprecciate it.
PS: I don't want to use flash on my browser, I only want it for making animations.
Title says pretty much it. The bad guys where some masked thugs with purple ski masks. The game required you to find certain items and trade them for other with some characters. Sub Zero (drawn in River City Ransom style) made an appearance as a secondary character. After you give him a Scorpion doll or something, he buys a Subway and turns it into a SubZeroWay. (Pretty bizarre).
Is possible that I played this game on Newgrounds.
Any known workarounds now that Flash has been discontinued?

I'm a 2d animator and I'm looking forward to upgrade my equipment. I saw at Huion's website that their tablets work with a lot of software but I'm using my original Macromedia Flash 8 from 2004(?). So could somebody please test it out, that the Kamvas 13 and/or Kamvas 16 works with Macromedia Flash 8?

I need help with this. So you are probably wondering why I am using a REALLY old program, well I just can't afford anything else right now. My brush tool when using my drawing tablet (XP-Pen Artist 1.13.3) functions as a move tool so long as there are sidebars. This does NOT affect any other program. All the information I can find about it is from 2018 regarding a windows update, but that is FAR outdated now. I really need a way to fix this problem. Also if anyone has recommendations for an actually relevant FREE animation program, that would be great.
Hey, does Macromedia Flash good enough and still holds up today?
I've seen some YouTubers including UnknownSpy, Winshard, Exit73Studios, and other stick figure community such as Hyun's Dojo community using Macromedia Flash from MX 2002 to Flash 8, despite they're being told that they want them to use alternatives such as Toon Boom, OpenToonz, Krita and Grease Pencil from Blender.
I see Hyun's Dojo praising Macromedia Flash versions as their recommendations for how fun the UI it was, being stable, etc., despite being told that it cannot support Windows 10 when it actually is.
I also see Exit 73 Studios had enough of Adobe Animate after experiencing some issues for some reason.
I understand people used Flash for valid reasons but I'm curious how they mastered it for some reason. Feel free to reply if you need to.
Platform(s): At least Windows (at least Windows 98 SE), but I think it also supported Mac OS.

Estimated year of release: Around 2000 to 2003
Graphics/art style: Used graphic assets from Disney-Pixar movies, but was flat 2D, so I say more like 2.5D.
Notable characters: I think there were characters from "Toy Story 2" on the disc my sister had.
Notable gameplay mechanics: I recall it was played using a regular computer mouse, maybe with some keyboard input, but I know we didn't have a PC joystick or game controller. There may have been a bar at the top in the game area (I believe it ran in full screen, but with a black border). I think it was mostly point-and-click.
Other details: The only one I remember was a "Toy Story" themed one, and there were likely a few others. When running it (on our custom-built Pentium 3 based desktop PC running Windows 98 SE, which was what we had at the time), there was a large black border, suggesting that it may have been designed for SVGA (800×600) or VGA (640×480) resolutions. I think the discs were developed using either Macromedia Flash or Director, but I might be wrong.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I only remember parts of what the UI looked like. I might try to draw a rough sketch and post a link to it here.
The title pretty much says it. These two eggs are battling on top of a moving train and constantly change their outfit (using abilities or powers related to the outfit). The only one I remember was the "Batman Egg/Bat-Egg", but there were others, maybe a "Superman Egg/Super Egg" and a "Detective Egg". They didn't talk and the autor of the video maybe was asian (most likely chinese or korean). I remember that I stumbled upon this video accidentally while searching a mexican flash cartoon called "Huevo Cartoon" (Egg Cartoon).

I see Youtubers like Ukinojoe, Heckray Animations, and Shad Anims 2 use this version of Flash.
I also see those videos of free downloads(lol) always have Macromedia Flash 8 as the pirated version.
Also, in Hyun's Dojo, I was recommended with Macromedia Flash 8 instead of MX or MX 2004.
Flash Professional CS6 is also being recommended to me but Flash 8 is much more common, though.
This was similar to Flash, in that you could design and program small interactive vector graphic-based components for websites. I remember embedding them on a Geocities page, I made a simple game where you could click on Magnemites (from Pokemon) to shoot them. I feel like it was called Yahoo! Things or something similar, but searching for that doesn't yield anything. It never caught on big, obviously, because Flash existed instead.
I’ve been trying to find a copy of flash mx online since adobe doesn’t sell it on their site. It seems like every site that you can download the file on is super sketchy so is there anywhere I can find flash mx? Thanks
Nothing makes me more sad than the war against Macromedia Flash/Adobe Flash. It was once the powerhouse that swept the internet for the better. Now a victim of backwards "progress"....
I can remember artists and programmers would make sites that were so dynamic, fun and beautiful. Now that HTML 5 (Javascript) has taken over, everything looks the same, boring, flat, and repetitive.
But because of Steve Jobs and his hatred for Adobe and refusal to incorporate Flash Player on his phones. (Everyone then followed suit) Caused the downfall of a once great plugin.
Now most browsers will no longer support Flash Player by the end of the year (2020). It is a sad end for something so far ahead of its time. Sad isn't the right word, disappointed is more appropriate.

Does Macromedia Flash 8 just not like my drawing tablet or pen? It doesn't draw unless I hold down a button on my pen. Am I just stupid as usual, or am I missing an option? I can't create my own sprites because of this. I have a UGEE drawing tablet and a cheap UGEE battery-less drawing pen.
Might be a dumb question but can someone explain me the differences between these three (Macromedia Flash, Adobe Flash, Animate CC). Is there also a difference between Animate CC and Adobe Animate?

Inspired by a recent thread about what a web developers workflow looked in the early days, I'm interested in what happened to all the Flash developers when it became clear that Flash was becoming less popular in favour of JS/CSS/HTML.
When did you realise that Flash might not be as in-demand in the near future and how did you handle it?
Was it really just the iPhone that finished off Flash?
I understand that Kurzgesagt uses Adobe After Effects, and if this is a stupid question, then please let me know. I've dabbled in animation a tiny bit over the past three years, but always admired the Kurzgesagt style. I'm working on a history video about the Roman Republic with a friend and wanted to know if there was any way I could emulate the Kurz. style of animation. Where could I start learning?
The reason why I ask about where I could learn to emulate their style in Mac. Flash is because I don't have the money for After Effects (still a minor).
