A list of puns related to "Machinae Supremacy"
Stand type: Humanoid Artificial Long Range
#Description
The stand is a robotic one, but not gears and metal. More like soft and wet. It has 3 horns protruding from its forehead and into the air. On its face sits 1 vertical line with a rhombus on each side. The surface of the stand is cyan with dark blue and green tiger stripes on the arms and legs. It has hooked fingers that seem to make a vibration noise. It has a slim torso and waist. On its waist sits a belt that droops down on one side due to not being tight enough. Each arm has 3 joints in the arm, bending them extremely. The arms are slender until you get to the forearms. Which are larger than an average person's.
The stand itself is sentient, able to react to outside threats and use its ability on its own. But does not have a personality.
#Abilities
Knowledge Transportation
The stand can reach its fingers into an organic being or other stands and give them knowledge or thoughts the user has encountered. The stand can use this to spark conflict by giving someone thoughts or knowledge that result in them betraying others, taking the wrong move, etc. This also works vice versa.
Knowledge Record
The stand can imprint a record sign onto any inanimate object that replays a thought or bit of information in the voice of those hearing it. It always plays at a volume where the recipient can hear it.
Radar Sense
The stand has a built in radar Sense that takes up a range of 35 meters. Anything that happens within this circle will be knowledge transported to the user. This is a passive ability.

A lot of it is prog or industrial but they have some pretty nu metal songs, particularly their covers.
When we formed Machinae Supremacy we were just a bunch of kids loving metal and video games. Through (but not exclusive to) the strong retro music community we accumulated a huge fan base spread out all over the world thanks to free downloads and filesharing; it should be said that this was before Spotify and its kin, YouTube or even MySpace existed. 5 albums (+ 1 one the way), 2 epic video original game soundtracks and over 10 million song downloads later we are still going strong!
We realized we haven't done one of these since 2010, and since we have an album and a new video game project coming up, we figured this would be a good time.
Our new album, "Phantom Shadow", will be released in August and is already available for pre-order at http://www.madsupply.com/en/shop/band+merchandise/machinae+supremacy
The video game is called "For My Brother", and is live on kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/859254890/for-my-brother) right now. "For My Brother" is a Metroidvania-style platformer about a girl who gives up her humanity to save her little brother.
Here's our post about this: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152042724131887&set=a.309705466886.153205.7426896886&type=1
When we formed Machinae Supremacy we were just a bunch of kids loving metal and video games, and through (but not exclusive to) the strong retro music community we accumulated a huge fanbase spread out all over the world before the mainstream music scene had ever heard of us.
In 2004-2005 we made the official soundtrack for an indie PC game called Jets'n'Guns, a move that skyrocketed our fame, and which we still get a lot of creds for today.
By this time, we'd had 3 million song downloads from our website, and still going strong at 100 000 downloads (roughly 650gb of data) every month.
In 2006 we were approached by Spinefarm Records, who also proudly carry among many others Nightwish and Children of Bodom in their roster. We signed with them and started releasing albums "for real".
Since then we've played with the Royal Philharmonics in the Stockholm set up of PLAY! A Video Game Symphony, and then it's norwegian follow-up, and released 4 studio albums.
We've always and we continue to support file-sharing, we host our own wikileaks mirror site, and from March to May 2011 we'll be supporting Children of Bodom together with Ensiferum on their European tour.

Hey reddit! I'm nick and I help out with MAGFest, the Music And Gaming Festival. You guys have been awesome in supporting MAGFest in the past, so I figured you'd like to know that we've just opened up our pre-registration, and announced our headlining band Machinae Supremacy who will be performing their first ever north american show at our event! Holy fucking shit I'm stoked.
Anyway, MAGFest is a four day long party with tons of bands, games, and guests going on 24 hours a day during the entire event. The dates are January 2-5, 2014 and we'll be returning to the Gaylord Hotel (lol) in National Harbor, MD.
I'd love it if you all could make it out, and feel free to ask any questions!
The song is one of those songs that gets me emotionally anyway, but with the video itβs doubly effective.
Spotify link. They're my favorite band of all time. What do you guys think of them? I feel like they're less power metal-y than, say, Hammerfall.
Do you know of any similar bands? I've tried to find other, but none have similar 'feel' to me, though maybe just because of how well I know them.
