Hi everyone! For those who didn't see, I recently held a chiptune contest here, with the intention of having the deadline be a week. However, I completely forgot I'm so sorry decided to extend the time period allowed and thus waited until 2 weeks later. Unfortunately, I've still only received 1 response, so I've decided to make things simple by not extending it another week, rather, just extending it until the end of the month of January. Results might not be in until well into February because of this, though the February contest will still happen.

For a simple explanation of what exactly is happening here, we're taking our older songs and remaking them for the new year. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to ask, and see the above link for further details!

I love doing chiptune covers of music related to technology... I have eventual plans to also cover Ghost in the Shell "Inner Universe" , as well as the theme to the game Transistor

I feel like sometime about 1-2 years ago, I saw a post about someone who had made chiptunes of hymns that missionaries could listen to. I just looked and cannot find it in my saved posts or anywhere on the internet. Is there anyone else that remembers this and has the link? It just popped into my mind and I figured I should find them before I need them. Thanks!

Today I had a reminder of a song from a childhood memory. I believe I heard it at a friends house and they were installing Age of the Empires on their computer. I don't remember what edition of Age of Empires it might have been 1 or 2. I think it was from 2. It would have been early 2000 era.

I am pretty sure it must have been a pirated version because I have the actual CDs of both games and the music wasn't what I was remembering at all.

I also listen to all of the music from both games and that song wasn't there.

I have been searching for hours online and YouTube trying it see if I can find it. But no luck. I was wondering if anyone happened to have an old installer handing around. Long shot but figure it can't hurt :)

Hello all, hope you're all enjoying the holiday season in whatever way you may celebrate it! I am sharing 20 download codes of my EP here for anyone interested. Each track uses 1 or 2 instances of LSDJ along with vocals and guitars layered on top. The Bandcamp download also includes an alternate version of the EP that is 100% lsdj recorded through real hardware, transcribing the vocal melodies/guitar solos into lsdj as well, and contains the .sav files for all tracks.
