A list of puns related to "Lpga"
Watched the Australian PGA this weekend, really enjoyable watching the men and ladies play the same course at the same time it really should be done more.
LPGA was won by Su Oh and PGA was won by Jediah Morgan. Although Jed looking at the scoreboard was playing a different game to everyone.
What is the LPGA version?
So I have been watching the LPGA last couple of weeks and dang they are good. I love watching their tempo. It is amazing and what I am trying to emulate.
It got me thinking about what handicap would a male have to have to be able to compete with them. I realize itβs a shorter course usually 6300 6400 yards etc. and that a man could be bombing it by them and have more wedges in, however they still have to make the putts etc.
I realize we will get a bunch of funny answers here however I would like a serious answer. I know we have some scratch and plus handicaps out there. Do u think over 4 rounds you could hand with Nelly Lexi etc. I am thinking it takes a +2 to 3 . Minimum Thoughts?
After the LPGA Tour announced their record $86 million in prize money a couple of weeks ago, I was curious to see how it compared to other professional women's leagues.
Very interesting.

Thoughts?
With Alexa Pano and Xiaowen Yin qualifying for Q Series but being denied entry due to age (both are 16 and the LPGA minimum is 18); should the LPGA consider an amendment to the rule?
Just wondering... Usually pretty quiet here.

I very seldom watch the PGA: Driver. Wedge. Driver. Wedge. 5 iron 225 yards. Whatever.
I canβt relate to this.
But the LPGA is fantastic. All these young women who play a great game and I learn from them. Admittedly most of us canβt hit like Sosa, Korda, Kim etc. but itβs way more realistic than PGA for us.
I learn the most when they get in trouble and I learn what is possible, what is possible but beyond my skill level, and what is an impossible shot.
Stop watching driver 350+ yards, wedge,β¦yawn.
Ladies, watch more LPGA!
Who is your favourite LPGA player?
Mine is Nasa Hataoka from Japan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nasa_Hataoka
Nasa is 5 feet two inches tall.
The average height of a woman is 5 feet 3 inches.
She is proving you do not need to be like Nelly Korda, five feet ten inches or Lexi Thompson, 6 feet tall to be a great professional golfer and compete with the best. (Both Thompson and Korda represent less than 5% of women in height.)
Nasa has distance -average drive 260 yards (53rd on tour) and touch (26th in putting). And she can win! 2 wins this year, finishing 2nd in US Open and 2nd CME group tour, the final tournament of the season. She is now ranked 8th in the world.
I relate much more to Nasaβs swing than I do to the swings of 2 super tall ladies.
So I am looking forward to watching Nasa again next year showing us all you donβt need to be even of average height to be one the best!
We stay in New Jersey this weekend as the race to the CME Globe heats up for Cognizant Founders Cup.
The ladies will have 3 more events to fight it out until the Tour Championship in Florida next month.
There was no tournament in 2020 due to the pandemic. This will be a 4 day event unlike the previous 2 LPGA evens which were only scheduled for 3 days. Cut after 2 rounds per normal.
Power Rankings CME GLOBE RANK + draftkings outright line.
10 (16) Celine Boutier +3500
The Frenchwoman shot a scintillating 63 on the final of day of the Shoprite LPGA in Galloway, NJ last weekend to claim her first LPGA victory on US soil. Also riding high from the triumphant European Solheim Cup win in Ohio last month. Merely here because of her form in such a deep field this week. Unlikely to repeat again, but momentum is strong and can hang with the elites when she is on her game. 2019 finish T47
9 (6) Ariya Jutanagarn +5000
I'm liking the odds on his one for the mercurial Thai wizard. Having her best year in quite some time with 5 top 10's and a long awaited win in her native land. Aside from a stumble at Portland, she's finished no worse than 25th in her last 7 events. +400 to finish top 10. i'll bite. 2019 finish T18
8 (13) Leona Maguire +3500
It's not a matter of if, but when the Irishwoman gets her first LPGA win. She's 6th in scoring so far in 2021. Solheim Cup debutante proved she can shine in pressure moments. Making her debut here as well. Strong season with 5 top 10's and only 2 missed cuts.
7 (21) Yuka Saso +2800
Yuka would be ranked higher in the CME globe, but she was only granted fully exempt status after her US Open win (she was +20000 to win!!) It shouldn't seem outlandish that she won despite those odds because she had crushing it on the JLPGA tour, which can be just as fierce as LPGA events! 10/10 cuts made and with 5 top 5s and aforementioned major win for the rookie.
6 (23) Jeongeun Lee6 +2500
Long overdue for next win, she leads the LPGA in birdies for 2021. Can be streaky but she has the penchant to go low. Sat out last weeks event as she looks to position herself well for the Globe. Coming off back to back solo 8 finishes and 5 top 10s in her last 7 events total (!) 2019 finish T14
5 (9) Brooke Henderson +1800
the Canadian finished second last week to vault into the top 10 in the Globe. Was struggling a bit (for her standards) prior to her win back i
