A list of puns related to "Lexmark"
I have a Lexmark CX725 thatβs showing a printer firmware error 900.00
Everything Iβve read says to unplug all the cables (thereβs only a power cable connected and a wireless card installed onto the back of the printer), wait a few minutes and hold then hold the power button and wait for it to boot but it keeps booting to the same screen and telling you to either unplug it and wait 10 seconds or collecting a debug report and auto rebooting to the same place.
I tried connecting it directly to my computer via network cable and directly to the network via Ethernet and both ways it then shows an IP address but when typing that into the browser nothing loads but the certificate from the web server is identified as belonging to Lexmark so itβs reading something.
I also downloaded the firmware onto a USB drive formatted as FAT but Iβm not finding a way to flash the firmware from a flash drive - everything is hereβs how to update it from the everyday menu which is not showing up for me.
Any ideas or suggestions for a fix for this or anyone have any experience with this?
All,
I have a large amount of New and slightly used Lexmark toner for the x952 series of printers. (X950 series of toner.)
Magenta, Black, Cyan, Yellow, and Waster Toner.
If you are on Bragg, and in need of said supplies, please contact me. For transparency we'll figure out whatever needed to make sure my GPC holder isn't going to get screwed.
Long story short, PBO surprised us with new printers, and I am cleaning out my supply closet this week and would rather give these to a unit in need rather than turn them in to SSSC for recycling.
This would be a no cost, no strings transfer, besides me ensuring that they are going to a unit and that you're not going to sell them out on the Murch.
I will also take advice on how to reclaim any costs if there's a smart Supply SM out there.
I may have some for an 800 series, but I haven't gotten there yet.
Hey all,
I bought a Lexmark MC3426 around a year and a half ago, and I absolutely love it. I was trying to setup faxing the other day when I realized I forgot the password I setup when I first set it up. I haven't been able to find any info on resetting the password on this unit. Does anybody know how this might be done?
Thanks!
I have Lexmark mx420 printer at work and I'm trying to print from my mobile by cable. I was able to print from my HP printer at work by connecting it to my phone(Samsung Galaxy S8, Android 9) by cable USB and select it and it prints perfectly.
I changed my printer to Lexmark mx420 and I installed two apps from Lexmark to printer from it but I can't connect the printer from my phone. The apps can't find the printer.
Is there a way I can make my phone find the printer? To be able to print.
Thank you.
A printer is basically a printer as far as I am concerned when users are copying, scanning and printing basic word documents.
What I really care about are the drivers and deployment options to the end users.
I've got an office in Germany which we're discontinuing our printer leases (HP) at the end of March, we'll be purchasing printers for this location as the cost and use is much cheaper.
Normally this is a no brainer, e-mailed our CDW UK rep and asked for a quote for two Canon ImageRunner DX C357iF's as the Canon universal PCL driver just works and we are extremely happy with. CDW rep says "We're not sure when we can get these for you in the EU".
I've asked them to suggest a Lexmark model with similar specs but what I cannot get from CDW is how their drivers act and react to deployment via GPO and how universal is their universal driver.
If anyone has experiences with deploying a Lexmark universal PCL driver through GPO your thoughts are very appreciated.
Once the printer arrives, we assign it an IP address on a vLAN which the print management server is connected to. Add the IP address as a port in print management, then add and deploy the printer with the universal driver out via GPO to the users who need it. The printer server spools all documents and has a secondary vNIC which has access to the rest of the network.
I'm shopping around for a new laser printer, and I've noticed that the Xerox C230 and Lexmark CS331dw color laser printers look almost identical physically, with the exception of having different color plastic and each having slightly different operating specifications.
I know that a lot of A4 laser printers from HP resemble Canon printers... because Canon manufactures most of HP's laser printer engines and mechanisms in that size class (very few of HP's A4 laser printers use their acquired Samsung technology and engineering as of now... the notable exception being the Neverstop line of laser printers).
Do Lexmark and Xerox badge-engineer A4 printers for each other, if any public information exists?
I've just had something weird happen that I can't explain. I've owned this printer for about 6 months. During that entire time, I've been connecting to it via wifi. Today, it stopped connecting. I dug into it and the reason it's not connecting is because it only supports the 2.4GHz band and my router is only broadcasting on the 5GHz.
Now, here's the weird thing. My router has had 2.4GHz disabled since June. That band interferes with my wireless headset and so I had to disable it. The router has been connecting successfully that entire time but no longer.
Has anyone seen something like this before? Any idea if I can do something to get it connecting on the 5GHz band again?
Why is CVS constantly coming up with ways to hinder our abilities to work? First the virtual verification and now these slow printers?!
