A list of puns related to "Leukaemia"
Hi /r/roosterteeth - I'm the person riding the Tour de France for charity that Gus mentioned at the beginning of the RT podcast this week! I wanted to post to say thank you, give a little more backstory, and share the link to donate for those who want and can afford to donate - Extra Life is such a fantastic event every year and the RT community gives so much to help that great cause, so I figured some of you might be interested in learning more about this ride that I'm so lucky to be part of.
Gus had the high points right (although it was actually my girlfriend who sent in an email without me knowing, so it was a total surprise to me):
Iβm 17 and really donβt know what to do. My dad is out of the picture and I have 3 younger siblings. Sheβs in hospital for a month at least so weβre currently living with our grandparents. Any advice or ideas or anything would be so greatly appreciated, I just need to talk about this and for some reason this is the first place that came to mind.
I just got a syringe and can now enjoy a warm coffee with my leukocytosis
I was reading an this article https://www.verywellhealth.com/psoriatic-arthritis-complications-3986473#:~:text=According%20to%20a%202016%20study%20published%20in%20Clinical%20Rheumatology%3A,and%20non%2Dmelanoma%20skin%20cancers.
Now I've freaked myself out can someone help explain if they are actually linked?
Hi everyone GP just told me I have chronic leukaemia :( . Iβm in such shock I donβt know how to process it all. I have a referral to a haematologist next week who told my GP to tell me not to worry but I canβt help but think the worst . Is there anyone else out there that lives with this ?
My uncle read it as a kid. He thinks the title could be 89 Steps or 99 Steps
In June 2018 aged 21M I was diagnosed with Chronic eosinophilic leukaemia from blood test results after being admitted with a high eosinophilic count of 25, I was treated with steroids which brought my levels down to 0 after a few days, once I was tailored off my 75mg ED dose I was given imatinib 100mg a day 7 weeks later my bone marrow biopsy showed no trace of cancer/mutation therefore stopped my treatment because in their professional opinion I was misdiagnosed, 3 years later October 2021 I have relapsed, and currently on steroids again waiting for more tests to come back before starting treatment. I was hoping there was someone else out there with this condition in this community to share their experience because there is much less information on CEL in comparison to CML and CL
Thank you Henry.
I saw it on a TV in a hotel somewhere in California with my mother in 1987. It was about a girl who gets leukaemia, loses all her hair, takes part in some sort of sporting event but eventually dies (death could have been revealed as an ending caption, not sure). It is not Something About Joey as that is about a boy and he doesn't lose his hair. I've been through a lot of lists of cancer and leukaemia themed films and I can't find it. My guess is that it was a cheap TV movie.
I read this book when I was pretty young, it may have been released early 2000s but likely before that.
iβm sure in the beginning the plot follows one of the girls who goes into a hospital or hospice for her leukaemia, and meets the other girl there. i think the hospital may have been near the beach or in a beachside town/village.
i think there might have been the word βrainbowβ in the title?
iβm sure the cover was of the two girls hugging, i think they were standing on a beach with rocks and a rainbow in the background.
i canβt remember what it was, but i think there was a big plot twist towards the end? maybe that one of the girls was getting better and then suddenly died?
this has been bugging me for ages, so thanks in advance!
I am leading the world's greatest shave with some friends. Supported with my school. Me and 5 peers will shave our head down the line. And 4 teachers will shave their heads too if target reached because they want it to be worth while.
Every bit counts thank you for reading, sharing the link or donating.

I asked my family for funkos for my birthday and my aunt gave me a bible that she said was my grandmaβs (she thinks god is real lol) so now when she comes over for my mom to drive her to chemo, i punch holes in the drywall until she leaves. I donβt need that kind of negative presence in my life, AITA?
