A list of puns related to "Leavenworth"
Friend called from Leavenworth this afternoon.
He said itβs shoulder to shoulder in all of the stores and nearly impossible to shop. The restaurants had long waiting lists so they were eating elsewhere.
I am not attempting to discourage people from going over there, but just letting you know what to expect. Recently there have been tourist questions about Leavenworth posted here.
I mentioned this earlier. Leavenworth is ranked 7th, on the list of best Christmas villages in America.
Someone rather unpleasant wanted proof that Leavenworth is ranked by the national media, so I went looking for the article. Leavenworth is ranked by numerous news websites! MSN - #5. Beliefnet - #4. and on and on. Hallmark however, doesnβt list it at all and gives the prize to Kettle Falls Washington.
Hi there, Iβm a backpacker, climber and skier and I love Leavenworth. Itβs one of my favorite places on earth. I was wondering if there are any mountain towns in Washington people would recommend checking out that have amazing hiking and skiing, and ideally have a somewhat interesting town itself? Thank you!
Thinking bout going up for a day with the fam. Would be about 2 hours drive each way. Whatβs worth doing if we go for the day?
Hey folks, with the busy holiday season on the passes coming up, I thought I'd share a cheaper traffic-saving option for anyone interested. There's a shuttle service to get to Stevens Pass and Leavenworth, and the Crystal Mountain shuttle is also in the works (details tbd). Most of the pickup spots are on the Eastside but still mostly accessible by public transit and definitely better than getting tire chains or renting AWD cars which have been in short supply for months. I'm hoping these shuttles get a lot of use this season so the resorts keep them around and make these winter wonderlands more accessible. Happy holidays!
Hi guys, I am planning a trip to Leavenworth this Tuesday. There might be 1 to 3 inches snow according to weather forecasts. Which route is safer? I have AWD but heard that snow might be worse for US 2.
Thanks !
A quick update: I decided to take US 2 with a RAV4. The road turns out to be pretty good. Just need to drive slow at and after Stevens Pass
Thanks for all the reply
We were planning of visiting Leavenworth and were wondering how long do the lights last? Is the town lightning similar in January as during Christmas but with lesser crowd ? Or is there a difference between Christmas Festival Lighting of town vs rest of the time
I swear to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, the stop sign on the island at 60th & Leavenworth has been born again so many times it should have its own religion. Iβve never seen someone hit it with my own eyes, but every time I see a new one put up, it seems like it barely lasts a week before someone mows it down again and they replace it with another temporary one only to permanently replace it another time.
Thatβs it. Thatβs the post.
I know I-90 is the slightly shorter route, and it is the one I am familiar with, but Iβve heard Highway 2 is much more scenic. Preference?
I have a FedEx package that has been labelled "Pending" and the last update was January 1, 2022 as "In Transit" in Leavenworth, WA.
I know that the passes have been closed a lot and that Leavenworth received a record amount of snow. Does the last scan from January 1st just mean that it is sitting on a truck that is stuck somewhere? I don't mind waiting for the package- it just seems like calling FedEx, they just tell everyone their items are lost. I don't want mine marked as lost- I would like them to still attempt delivery. Anyone else with packages in Leavenworth?
