Does anyone have any success propagating an Inchplant/Wandering Jew from a leafless node?

What it says on the tin! My nodes have been becoming too soggy and eventually moldy. I used to same method I would with a pothos node. I put them in a closed container, mist them maybe every 3 days while I let them air out. Obviously I’m not letting them breathe enough, but is there anything else I might be missing?

Can I hard prune a leggy monstera adansonii until it's leafless?

My monstera adansonii has no leaves on it's first probably five of six nodes and it not very aesthetically pleasing. I've already pruned a bit off the end to propogate to fill it out more, but can I cut all the leaves off? Will the plant die or will it just push leaves out of the old leafless nodes by the base?
