Previous owner pulled the blade from a LW and put it on some skinnied and smooth scales with gold ano hardware! Blade is in fantastic shape with very sharp factory edge. Screws/ hardware are a bit beat up and blade favors clip side slightly. I stole the aftermarket deep carry clip and tossed a black factory one on.

First up is a Mini bugout with carbon fiber scales

This was originally a bolts mini bugout with scales dyed black. I put some custom carbon fiber scales on it, comes with the original grivory scales as well. This has obviously been taken apart, has been lightly carried but hasnβt cut much and is wearing a factory edge. The blade centering is slightly to the left but it was perfectly centered before the scale swap which leads me to believe that some tuning could bring it back. I believe I am the second owner of this guy. The previous owner sharpened it and did a good job, seemingly with a system where he maintained the same bevel angle without reprofiling. Comes with an MXG clip, no original clip but it does come with the third screw for the original clip in the box. Action is great and drops shut, I just have too many para 3s and donβt need this one. A knife that needs no introduction. I have 4 of these and Iβm selling 2. This has never cut or been carried and has factory edge. It wasnβt quite as sharp as some of my others out of the box so I did strop the edge. Itβs starting to show the beginning signs of thumb stud ano wear. Thereβs not a mark anywhere on this this that I can see, as there shouldnβt be. It never been disassembled and has the original lanyard (B+) SV 375

I am the second owner of this, the first owner bought and sold it to me within an hour of owning it. The action is really great on this despite it being so new, the best Iβve ever seen out of the box. Same deal as the PJ, never cut or carried and not a mark on it. Comes with the original lube and loctite, I did open the loctite because I needed a bit for another knife, sorry dudes. This has never been disassembled and has the original lanyard. (A) SV 425

Lansky Deluxe 5 stone - C. I got the 2000 sapphire stone and replaced the 120 grit. I also got the stand for it. Perfect little system that all fits in a box. Sharpened about 5-6 knives.

I've been using the lansky guided system for years now with some levels of success. I'm considering moving to a KME or wicked edge system. Am I really going to see a difference in end product or save time moving to a different system or should I stay the course? I also have a variety of steels from AUS-8 to M-4 if that makes a difference.

Got the kit a few months ago and loved it at first. But immediately noticed how a couple of the medium grit stones felt extremely smooth. Iβve cleaned them after ever session but now I cannot get the grit back to them. Can anyone give me some tips on what to do? Thinking about using sand paper on a flat surface.

I'm picking up a teal S90v Native 5 Lightweight soon and I sharpen my knives using a Lansky guided system. This will be my last knife for a few years and I don't want to make another big purchase on a fancier system.
(I'm a college student. Spyderco is a good way to get high performance steels for cheap)
Would the diamond Lansky stones be capable of bringing up a decent edge on this wear resistant steel, or would it wear out the cheap stones too quickly?
