I was watching some old videos of Solomon Aschβs conformity experiment on YouTube and noticed that in all the experiments all the participants and the actors are white young adult males! Has this experiment ever been done with variations on the gender (or even age) of the participants and actors? Say for example if all the actors are female but the participant being tested is male? Or if all the actors are older adults but the participant is a teenager or young adult?
Lately, I've seen hedgies heavily implement this in their psychological warfare.
Basically, the Asch Paradigm, is the inclination to change your answer/viewpoint/etc., to conform to the majority ideology. They are pressing this hard.
The best way to battle this is to understand how their attack works.
They swarm a post to discredit all the DD and make it seem like majority think the floor will be significantly lower than what it is. They will use multiple shill profiles to vote positively on their own shit takes, and vote negatively on anyone who speaks against it.
Understand that this is a psychological play to change your mind. To spread FUD. It's all fake.
Recognize this, and know that you know the truth already.
Don't let them fool you. It's a very effective play on unsuspecting victims.
So I'm playing and i often forget Luke is left handed which got me thinking just now what if Asch and Luke are ambidextrous that would be the only way Luke and Asch could use different hands for thier dominat hand and still be perfect in almost every other way at least physically

NFPAβs original objectives, βestablishing proper safeguards against loss of life and property by fire,β placed life safety ahead of property protection. Yet, until the Triangle Shirtwaist fire, there was not one technical committee devoted exclusively to life safety concerns.
The Triangle Shirtwaist Company was located on the eighth, ninth, and tenth floors of the Asch Building at the intersection of Washington Place and Green Street in New York Cityβs Washington Square. The building was a βloft,β typical of many in its day. The Triangle Company, with more than 500 employees, was reportedly the largest business of its kind in the city. Most of the employees were young women, many of them recent immigrants, who worked six days a week in cramped and dirty quarters.
Numerous Fire Hazards
New York City law at the time required buildings 11 stories and higher to have stone floors and metal window frames. The Asch Building was only 10 stories high and was constructed with wood floors, wood trim, and wood window frames. Unsafe as they were, these features of the buildingβs construction were only part of the fire danger that workers unwittingly faced every day.
Buildings with 10,000 ft2 of floor space per floor were required to have three staircases per floor. The Asch Building had two. The buildingβs architect had pleaded for approval of two staircases, because there was also an outside fire escape that could be reached by windows on each floor. The fire escape terminated at the second floor, not at the ground.
Labor laws in effect at the time required that factory doors open outward, if practical. The architect claimed this design was not practical in the Asch Building, because each landing was only one stair width from the door. All doors had to open inward.
Those same labor laws required that factory doors be kept unlocked during the workday. Doors at the Triangle Company reportedly were usually locked during the workday to keep track of the workers and prevent them from stealing material.
