Has anyone here ever checked out the Jolly Almanac of Card Knavery as a resource for learning card magic?
You can download it for free here: https://theburnabykid.com/nwmb/JACK.pdf
It was compiled by Andrew Musgrave (aka The Burnaby Kid), and you can read more about it here:

From the Introduction of the book:
>"What exactly is the Jolly Almanac? It's a single-volume introductory text on card magic that should t easily on your shelf. It's got old material and new material. It's got classic tricks with updated scripts. It's got methods and variations on those methods. It's got a ton of principles. With sleight of hand, it's not just about how to do the move, but what move to do, when to do it, and why, and this book has thousands of words of theory to cover all of that."
Basically it compiles material from The Royal Road To Card Magic and some other sources (e.g. Erdnase) that are no longer subject to copyright, and updates, paraphrases, and annotates them. The result is a 242 page book, with the following contents:
While traveling abroad in South Korea I became an Eve Player because of the broken mechanics in Dust 514 surrounding shared game corporations.
As a fisher price grade CEO, I was on the verge of having my illustrious enterprise, Xer Cloud Consortium, either disbanded or usurped by an EVE capsuleer who became the defacto holder of shares after a botched attempt at transferring corporations shares back into a Dust Mercenary's assets. The details of Dust Player limitations become highlighted by CCP at a later date, tucked away in a crowded segment of the forums. Essentially, once a corporations becomes shared, Dust players no longer have the ability to hold existing or new shares, nor participate in the process of a vote if one is called. So I made a game out of it, simply titled Disband or Save my corporation It caught the attention of my original EVE management shadow broker who would be able to remedy the situation by creating more shares and designating them to a chosen Eve Player, who I figured would be myself this time around (I had been curious to try EVE for a while now.) Logistical matters needed to be attended to first. I had limited access to a PS3 at the time in Korea, so I walked over to a local PlayStation bang in Seoul, transferred CEO titles to an EVE player once again. Then as I waited for vote to end on creation of new shares, I walked down stairs into a nice PC bang and proceed to subscribe to one month of EVE from a starter pack deal I had found and downloaded the full 12gb client in about 15 minutes there in the cafe. Once the broker and I had completed our business my fresh EVE toon now held 9000 shares. It was quite a professional transaction.
And that there was my hook into EVE. The past, present, and future possibility of corporate sabotage on a personal level. The stakes of a game felt refreshingly real. Most importantly, the learning experience taught me that the immortal beings in the sky currently have the power to make money by blackmailing some poor bunny CEO on the ground by stealing their shares and threatening to squash their sand castle unless protection payment is received periodically. That's the New Eden way, so I am told.
Warlock options! Paladin options! The two things I actually make, together at last in one update!
With reddit's help, both the Alternative Pact Boons and the Knavery Paladin are back, bigger, faster, stronger, and more balanced* than before.
Pick up the Alternative Pact Boons and grab a shield, bow, gun, boots, or a whip for your warlock, with solid damage balance and invocation support! Now, even, without accidentally making Sneak Attack proc off of eldritch blast.
Or, roll up a paladin with the Oath of Knavery and be a stealthy skill-monkey knight with a strong moral code and an obligation to rob from the rich and give to the poor! With solid tenets, adjusted Channel Divinities, and overall general rebalancing for a more cohesive rogue-paladin experience.
Two very different sets of tricks for two very different trades, an arsenal of pact-bound gear for warlocks and a bevy of abilities for holy warriors of stealth and trickery.
Download them both, and find which you prefer.

Continued thanks for all the help you fine folks send my way! I'm doing my best to credit and attribute directly on my blog the people who help out and offer me insights, as that seems to be the polite and reasonable thing to do that I've nevertheless neglected up until just now.
If you'd like to see individual changelogs and lists of still-present concerns, they are both as always available on the blog.
Happy homebrewing, reddit!
Most paladins follow a very specific line of logic: Look for lawbreakers. Smite lawbreakers. Goto 10.
Not so for this paladin. To a paladin of Knavery, breaking laws is perfectly acceptable, as long as those outside the law are breaking the right laws, for the right reasons.
A robin-hood of paladins dedicated to robbing the rich and giving to the poor, the Knavery paladin has a variety of skills that emulate but do not duplicate those of the rogue while remaining very thematically paladin, and are designed for an efficient and effective multiclassing experience.

As always, features and concerns are discussed on the blog to save space here. In short, though, I'd like ya'll to take a closer look at the balance of some of the abilities, specifically Skulker's Blessing and Mask of Legends, and tell me what you think.
If you also have some serious knowledge of multiclassing, I'd love to have someone take a look and see how rogue multiclassing would work in more detail, as I genuinely miss a lot when it comes to multiclassing homebrew.
Thanks for any attention you can give to the design here! All feedback (even haters hating) is important, and really helps me keep designing more fun options.
I have a week and two days worth of hours logged in game time, and I have made supercruise journeys just fine for 90% of my time playing. Lately though, my FSD has continued to accelerate past the ideal point to begin deceleration. This has happened in many different systems the past few days. Even if I set the throttle in the blue zone right when I enter a system and keep it in the lowest part of the blue zone, I will overshoot the target about 60% of the time. It's boggling my mind and I can't find an answer. Even cutting the throttle doesn't slow me down. I continue to accelerate until I hit a gravity well. This has made my trips look a lot cooler and more Star Wars-ish with me doing flips and spins and such, but it's a big time waster.
Any ideas? Is this something I should submit a ticket about or am I missing something that I somehow wasn't missing before but forgot?
Big ups to you, from 2016, Shakespeare.
