A list of puns related to "Kingdom Of Germany"
[Nov/Dec 2022]
(LONDON) After a wild couple of weeks in the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson has resiliently held on once more, with the battered-but-not-defeated Conservatives topping the general election once more.
Sources close to the Liberal Democrat party indicated that, after the mess that was the Cameron-Clegg coalition government, leader Ed Davey had rejected a simple Conservative-Lib Dem coalition. With Labour's Keir Starmer and Davey not having the numbers to form a coalition of their own, all eyes turned to an unprecedented agreement to lead Britain out of unprecedented times.
With Boris Johnson as Prime Minister, a unity government has been formed between the Tories, Labour, and Lib Dems.
"Germany has now explicitly called for the dissolution of the United Kingdom and Freedom of Navigation and Trade are in question. This calls for extraordinary cooperation in this parliamentary session."
"This has gone a step too far. I have indeed received criticism for blaming Scottish separatism directly on Germany. However, the intentional overreaction by Berlin to not only call for Scotland's independence but also Ireland annexing part of our sovereign territory is not only disproportionate, it is a hostile act of interference in Britain's internal affairs."
"We will certainly be discussing this with our partners why Germany has threatened the interests and territorial integrity of a supposed NATO ally."
Moving onto broader topics, Johnson signaled that things would be moving with more urgency in London.
"The advanced economies of the world have for too long relied solely on the Americans to ensure that cargo ships can pass through narrow waterways and straits to deliver their goods. That civilians could not randomly be ambushed on the high seas, with hostile nations saying 'come start a war if you have a problem with this,' but that there would be a red, white and blue reckoning for that behavior."
"We face obstacles to our long-term economic growth with Brexit, yes. There are a number of trade agreements, domestic reforms, and government initiatives
... keep reading on reddit β‘I thought of this while watching Gate, and started thinking of senarios similar to the title. Would the same thing occur like it did in Gate or would it spark stuff new. Just wondering
I came across this movie and watched some scenes about it on Youtube. On reddit I also saw a lot of people praising the movie. Yet there were some things I didn't quite like about it, and I looked at the Amazon reviews.
Interestingly enough the reviews on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de were quite different, with the average rating in the USA and the UK being 4.2 stars, but in Germany 2.7 stars (http://i.imgur.com/SiqnTTj.png). Here are also some parts of the top reviews each:
USA:
"The movie was gut wrenching and excellent. After more than 50 years of being a WWII Historian with emphasis on Armor, someone has finally made "The Tank Movie" of all time."
"Iβve never seen a war movie focused on tank divisions before, so the battle scenes are not the typical βrun up the hill and shoot the bad guyβ scenarios we are used to. The fighting is chaotic, suspenseful, and yes, furious."
UK:
"I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Then why only 3 stars? Because it was based on a real incident involving a CANADIAN (not American) tank. Just like that U-Boat Enigma film a few years ago which was about a Royal Navy incident portrayed as an American feat."
"Sensational. Realistic to a point, but the special effects (e.g. tracer fire, tank shells) being a little too 'Star Wars' to be wholely believable, detracted a little from the otherwise gritty realism. Also why are the Germans such poor marksmen?"
Germany (translated):
"Fury is being sold to us as a war movie."
"The few shown US troops seem to be the last resort against the evil Nazis, the fate of the war seems to depend on their success."
"The German troops in the movie obviously outnumber the Americans and are said to have superior equipment but are unable to use it. The well concealed anti tank guns destroy halftracks and infantry without a problem but when FURY appears they fail completely and don't deal the 'brave avengers' any serious damage."
So i want to form the Holy Roman Empire but i need to be king of germany or king of italy, but currently i'm king of Bavaria.
I own most counties in the Germany, but i don't see an option to create the kingdom of Germany anywhere.
Is the a way to do it? Am i blind? If not, is there a console command to switch/create the kingdom of Germany?
I am talking mainly about Baden-Wurttemberg, Prussia, Hanover, Saxony and Bavaria? Why weren't they liberated by the Entente as free nations? Was it part of a treaty Kaiser Wilhelm II signed with the states to be fully incorporated? Would it have made Europe more of a powderkeg than in our timeline?
Expanding on my last post, here I made the Dutch not have any territories in Britain, but owning half of north-western Germany. Here's a quick rundown of the world state:
In 1937 the United Kingdom of the Netherlands enters an alliance with the UK, beginning fight on the Western Front as early as 1940, although after a few months of fighting the nation fell, the resistance kept fighting.
In 1944, soon after Normandy the Allies, with help from the Dutch resistance, begin launching assaults upon the German territories, until meeting with the Soviet Army at the borders between the German Lands. Since in this time line the Dutch were an active fighting power in the war, they were allowed to demand territory from the defeated Germany, demanding most of the north-western Germany, until the border with the USSR occupation zone, and the US occupation zone.
The Republic of Greater Bavaria was established on 3rd of February 1951, through the merging of the French, British and American occupation zones in Southern Germany. Meanwhile, the German Democratic Republic (G.D.R.) was established on 7th October 1949 as a Soviet buffer state between the NATO armies in the Netherlands and Bavaria.
The Czechoslovak Socialist Republic (C.S.R.) too acts as a buffer state between NATO and the USSR, but recent developments have led it on a path of neutrality rather than hostility with the West, much to the USSR's worry, and as thus the Red Army is stationed in the C.S.R., leading to escalated tensions.
The United Kingdom of the Netherlands and West Germany is a great power on the world stage, but at home it is ruled with an iron fist by it's king, who is backed by the US and UK, crushing independence movements, although there are movements for a constitutional monarchy which, to the shock of the public, are beginning to see success, as more and more democratic reforms are being passed. Whether this will turn the Netherlands into a democracy, or are just a facade, is yet to be seen.

Belgium and the Netherlands decide to try and conquer each other. Germany fights for the Netherlands and the United Kingdom sides with Belgium.
What is the outcome? And most importantly, why?
Rules:

No WMD's.
Both sides have a World War 2 level of determination.
