In my youth, I was a big fan of The Jonas Brothers. A stan, if you will. So much of a stan, in fact, that my older sister bought me tickets to see them live in concert for my birthday in 2009. I was ecstatic—even today I remember that night so perfectly, every little detail a cherished memory, from the location of the seats to the color of Nick’s jacket...
...Or so I thought.
Because, apparently, in my boyband-induced tunnel vision, I somehow managed to forget that the opening act that evening were none other than Wonder Girls.
......I just.......
I do remember there being an opening act, mind you, I even remember turning to my sister and asking, “Who are these people and where are my boys?” but what I do not remember, somehow, is that I apparently saw a live performance of “Nobody.” What I do not remember, somehow, is being in the same room as Sunmi, who has literally been my #1 favorite soloist pretty much since the year I got into K-pop.
This is seriously haunting me. I also refuse to believe I'm the only person who's into K-pop now who's had this realization. So this is probably a very niche post, but—did anyone else go to a Jonas Brothers concert in the US/Canada in 2009 and see Wonder Girls?!?

Tonight I heard the song "Only Human." It sounded completely different. I completely remember the song being by Maroon 5, Adam Levine leading the vocals. The voice was even different. Does anyone remember this song being by Maroon 5?
When they came back, I assumed they’d have a lot of hype for their first song but the hype for Sucker was beyond what I’d expected. It debuted at number one.
However, their following singles didn’t really have much of an impact but when their album was released, it performed really well having one of the highest first-week sales of that year.
I feel like they still have a lot of touring potential for the nostalgic fans but I only see their music getting less successful from this point on.
I also recently discovered that they were never that successful in the first place. They were loved and were known everywhere but their songs and albums both sold pretty averagely.
Thoughts?
