A list of puns related to "Infosys"
Been offered a help desk position at infosys.
Salaries and benefits we donβt really have to talk about, Iβve lived here for a while and realise theyβre not top, but the idea of home office makes it feel kinda worth it.
But looking at glassdoor the reviews are pretty damn bad when it comes to morals and ethics in the company, anyone worked there and want to give their 2 halΓ©ΕΕ―?
All my parents did is take blue collar jobs and kick back and not worry too much about keeping their skills up to date. I want that but with a software job, because that's the skills that I have the most knowledge of.
Don't need to get paid super well, as long as I can get a very livable income. I don't want my career to be a high maintenance prima donna...just have time spent in the field matter. If I depended on the same set of skills until I retire that would be sweet.
So is that where these big boring consultancies come in? A guy who just does what is told without needing to catch up on trends all the time?
I'm just a simple guy and want the simple life and those companies I mentioned sound like they attract those simple types. A software dev career that is free of the intense competition and the hustle and bustle, that's the career for me.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Hi, I'm currently doing a bsc and bcom conjoint. For my bsc I'm doing comp sci and stats. For my bcom, I'm not quite sure whether to do finance or Infosys (can't do both). I'm looking purely from an employability perspective and earning capacity perspective as my level of interest in both are roughly the same. Thanks.
I have a friend who just resigned from his position in Infosys and was asked to return the laptop through post.
Once he did that, he received numerous calls from some electrician cum delivery team member saying that they recieved empty box.
It could be either a scam by post office guys or the delivery people at infosys.
They haven't send anything official but just calling a lot from different numbers. Some SO from Pune Police Station also called and was threatening.
Fu*k this!
Hi guys, just wanted to ask around if the new M1 Macbooks are recommended for SMU compsci/infosys majors. I am an Apple user and I was hoping to get an iPad alongside the new M1 pro chips Macbooks as I heard that tablets are useful in uni. Is it compatible or would it pose a lot of issues? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance :) Btw any recommendations on specs if it is recommended?
About to start uni at UNSW soon and heard that work experience in your related field is very important. Any tips and tricks to get one? Not sure if work experience is guaranteed at UNSW. I checked the information systems study plan and guaranteed work experience is listed in third year term 2, not sure if this is true.
Hey guys,
I'm thinking of doing some studies either in the field of accounting, commercial law & taxation (under commerce) or else information systems + Business Analytics + stats (under science).
It is a double major but I will do stage 3 papers in all those fields to fulfil the requirements of all 3 majors (so technically I am actually triple majoring.
My question is how does the employability and career progression look for those two completely different paths?
For the accounting & commercial, I guess the best I'll be able to get to is probably the big 4 accounting firms, how about the Infosys/Busan path? Would that open more doors?
Thanks
Hello everyone! I was just recently offered a job from Infosys. I'm a CS grad in two months and have a lot of debt and pressure to get employed from parents/family/partner so I'm kind of desperate. However, I'm a bit worried that I'm selling myself short. I'm a good programmer but other companies aren't really giving me the time of day without any experience on my Resume. My current plan is to work for Infosys for a year accept that I'm being underpaid and job hop to somewhere more desirable.
However I'm worried that having Infosys on my resume might lock me into working for bad companies. Is this a reasonable fear or is it more likely that experience on my resume will help me get to a better company?
Scrolling through a lot of old posts and going through some self doubt etc. Aiming to get into technology consulting (ofc this could change) and wondering if comm/infosys is the right path. Iβm aware employers do often overlook degrees and instead prefer to look for critical thinking/communication skills/work experience. etc. However im wondering if majoring in finance would be worth it (again I know we are able to dabble in all majors in first yr so hopefully I could figure out what I like) Or are there other majors more complementary to info systems?
Iβm seeing a lot of hate posts for commerce and the terrible assignments/essays/group projects and itβs definitely a difficult pill to swallow but I understand itβs the reality of uni. Would it be feasible to get into consulting with just a info sys degree? Would anyone be able to discuss their commerce degree experience? Lots of thoughts.
Additionally: Networking is helpful and Iβve checked out and shortlisted a few societies/clubs that Iβd like to join including bsoc, Women in business, and consulting club thoughts on these? Are they hard to join? (Iβd like to join three in first yr)
Is it a right time to book profit because the brokerage firm have a target of 1900 and I might re enter at lower value around 1800.
I have done B.E in Mechanical. I like to got to the IT and I'm 2021 passout. But they ask aggregate of 60% in 10th, 12th and Engineering. But I don't have 60% aggregate in SSLC. And I have 57% even if I give the interview. Will I caught or anything will happen. I want to get into the IT company what can I do. Please help. Is there anything to do it.
"Why are you interested in the course you are applying for? Tell us how this degree relates to your passions and goals."
Has anyone ever successfully received gateway offers and further equity scholarships? And would anyone be able to offer advice on apps? Im not sure how much im supposed to write for the three questions?
Hi all,
I'm majoring in accounting and finance but I'm looking to change from finance - mostly because I hated maths108 lol. The other major I'm looking at is Infosys. Just looking for any advice from anyone who is currently or have done these majors - just suck it up and stick with Finance or is infosys better suited with accounting?
So not many people applied for this ipo which is why i got it. maybe the reason was low gmp but the company is good. Market leader in cash management service, Zero debt, increasing net profit, also good price range, ROCE is 25%, pe is 27 so fairly valued. Already up 27% from listing. And they also have 2000 cr order book ready for next 5 year. So the people who still holding, whats your reason to hold and target price?
Hi, I'm gonna take stage 3 papers in infosys and busan next year and just wonder what softwares I will need for these papers (infosys 303, 304, 305, 321, busan 300, 301,302,304)?
Will these softwares run seamlessly on M1 macbooks?
I want to do either Infosys 110 or Maths 108 for summer school, whichever is more time-consuming. Which one would that be? Unfortunately, the timetables clash and I cannot do both.
Also, which stage 1 core commerce papers have the least workload? (Business 111, 112, 114 or 115). I have not done any accounting, economics or business in high school.
Has anyone done these courses and can tell me how they were like?
For people working at infosys, can they confirm that they are or will fire people depending on if they are able to pass 2 out of 3 certifications after training? Iβm fine with relocating but really need this job
Hey folks.
I'm a 2019 mechanical engineering graduate who explored advertisement for 2 years and want to get back to something tech.
I was wondering if system engineer in Infosys is worth it, considering the low salary for entry level.
Where can I go from there, say after a year of experience.
I know js, c#, react and node js.
Hi, i am going into my second year pursuing Information Technology and Management and i am required to take BUSAN 201 and INFOSYS220. If any of you have done these papers would you be kind enough to send some materials about the papers so that i can get an understanding of the paper and how i can prepare myself for it. Any help would be much appreciated.
I have just moved to Hinjewadi phase 1. I daily see the bikes lying there in dire condition. There are a couple of worn mattresses put on them too. Wondering if there's an local anecdote behind them. Pray tell.
