A list of puns related to "Indoor Cycling"
The mayor relaxed the mask mandate, albeit very quietly.
Masks are no longer mandatory for those that are vaccinated.
βThis decision was made to provide an extra degree of flexibility based on feedback to the Executive Order, as well as contact tracing that has indicated that infections are an infrequent occurrence at gyms.β

Context: my wife wants a Peloton but, having tried it several times, Iβm just not keen on spinning. Iβd far rather cycle on a βrealβ course.
It's winter, so indoor trainer. I've been watching GCN epic rides for motivation. What kind of music is similar to this Iceland video around the 15:12 mark? It's captioned "high octane".
In general, I'd be very interested in "tempo" music for bike rides, but I really dislike music with words in it. Do you have any recommendations for what I can search for? Really would prefer NO WORDS in the music.
Typing "high octane" seems to yield songs named "high octane" which are not the same thing apparently. Thanks!
Hey everyone, me again! For those of you who donβt know, my name is Megan and Iβm a cycling instructor at CycleBar Williamsburg.
This Monday (01/31) at 6:45pm Iβm hosting the Emo Night ride! Itβs a 45 minute indoor cycling class set to all of your favorite emo anthems! Sing along, work up a sweat, have a blast!
Wear a band tee from your fave emo/pop-punk/hardcore etc. band! Best tee shirt wins a free class!! ππΌ
Most of my regular classes have a similar vibe in terms of music, however this is amped up! All of our rides are accessible to any experience level, so if this would be your first class ever or your 5,000th, you have a spot in the stadium!!
If youβve never taken a class with us before, your FIRST ride is FREE! π₯
And if you enjoy my class a lot and wanna keep riding with me or some of our other amazing instructors, we have some amazing deals on ride packages and memberships right now that you definitely will wanna check out, ask the studio about them!
Check out our website and give the studio a call/text/email if youβre interested! Iβm also the AGM so youβll most likely get an answer from me via our studio.
βοΈMust be fully vaccinated to take class.

Have any of you ever invested in an indoor cycling setup (i.e. smart trainer, rollers, Zwift or TR subscription, etc) only to find yourself not using it as often as you thought you would?
I transitioned to road cycling this year and have made significant gains in my performance over the past several months. I set and achieved goals (in distance and speed), made a bunch of new cyclist friends, joined a club and really want to maintain my performance level going into the next cycling season.
There's an old spin bike in my basement where we have a personal gym setup. Given how often I'm out on my bike, my wife has asked me why I don't use it whenever it's raining outside. I've tried explaining to her that it's not the same thing and then she'll get a visibly confused look on her face.
My concern is that I'll invest in a setup, only to find that my motivation actually comes from being outdoors. I'm also pretty sensitive to budgetary concerns since we're a family of 4 on a single income.
Would be happy to hear some thoughts from any of you who've been down a similar path.
Edit: I should add that I live in Canada... 4 months of winter.
Some are sync'd from Strava, some are not. I'm sure I'm missing an option. I'm new to Runalyze. Any info I'd appreciate. TIA, Anthony
I recently bought an indoor bicycle to use while making sales calls. I care a lot about my Move ring, and thought this would be an easy way to close it.
I've noticed that there's a significant difference between the calories burned if I set an Indoor Cycling activity or not. If I don't, and I'm on a ten minute call, I literally will get 0-2 calories. If I set an activity, 10 minutes can get me about 50-60.
Why is there such a big discrepancy? I don't want to use the activity if its artificially pumping my numbers up >:(
Hi!
I recently discovered that playing a game during an easy indoor cycling workout makes time fly. I usually struggled with longer endurance rides indoors, but with Slay the Spire that is not an issue anymore. Do you have any other suggestions for games that I can play on my PC, preferably on steam, with a controller. Turn based would be best I think. But I'm open to all suggestions!
Question in title. I don't like how I can either add mileage manually without heart rate or add heart rate with no mileage.
Hello, just got a Polar Grit X . My main training during the winter is indoor cycling. I have two Bluetooth sensors for cadence and speed. Both are seen and seem to connect well with the watch. However, I don't see any cadence / speed information during the workout on the watch.
Up to now, I used the Wahoo fitness app to get the live cadence and speed information on my phone during workouts. From what I've read, there doesn't seem to be a way to connect Wahoo fitness app to Polar flow.
Any suggestion so I can both get the live reading either on my watch or phone as well as the workout data into Polar Flow?
Thanks!
I want to start cycling however I've never really done well with riding and pushing myself on an actual bike outside. I've tried exercise bikes in the past and found indoor cycling to be a more enjoyable experience.
I want to invest in a spin bike or a regular bike with an indoor trainer. The kicker is I want to be able to be able to track watts in order to track my power but also to semi-accurately track the amount of calories I burnt.
I've been trying to find a decent indoor bike that tracks average watts but have had no luck finding one that fits what I'm looking for and I have no clue where to start in buying a regular bike with an indoor trainer that can also track the amount of watts I'm producing.
I'm unsure of which route to take or where to look for such equipment, I live in Australia and am willing to order internationally if needed but would prefer not to. It might be a stretch but my price range would ideally be nothing over $800-900.
Please, any and all recommendations and advice are appreciated as I want to have a good bike or setup from the start so I don't have to continuously invest in new equipment and am completely lost on where to start.
Why do I only get knee pain from cycling on my indoor trainer? (elite suito)
my position on the bike is exactly the same.
Hey! recently i bought a indoor bike trainer as the weather where i live got too cold for my likes to cycle outdoors. I was wondering if anyone knows any apps or ways i can combine vr with cycling!!!
i have an old but pretty decent road bike and a magnetic resistance wheel. I am now at week 4 and my PT agreed to pedaling 30 minutes per day. What are your experiences of indoor biking? Does it help with the atropy?
I use the standard bikes in my gym and track indoor cycling with my Apple Watch. Is there any way to add data like distance in post before or after uploading to Strava?
My peloton workouts get written to apple health as a cycling workout. Does anyone know a way to change so that it shows up as indoor cycling so it is not confused with my outdoor rides?
With my Forerunner I can see all of the data that is important, speed, cadence, HR. I'm trying to figure out if there is an app (Connect) or something else I can use to either view that data or track it.
Bit of help with Strava and Wahoo please.
So I was gifted a bike stand and wahoo sensors for Christmas, I set up the sensors on the crank arm and the back wheel hub (as this is the only one that moves) and when I did a bit of a test ride I cycled until I got up to 1km on the wahoo app but after it synced to Strava it showed 1.6km. Thatβs rather a large discrepancy if I was to simulate a ride over a much larger distance. I noticed somewhere there was a wheel circumference setting which I probably need to do but how else is this calculating if the sensor doesnβt know the size of the hub itβs attached to?
Anyone else have experience with these and can offer any pointers?
Thanks in advance. Martin
Hi everyone!!
I've connected my Garmin FΓͺnix 6 with an indoor cycling trainer. The thing is that they recommended an app or something similar in the beginning when I added the profile but not anyomore.
Anyone can tell me what it is? I also mentioned that there is a new icon on the profile.
