Indicus care?

Looking for info about caring for mangroves, as I can’t seem to find anything comprehensive that’s really up to date on them. Currently I’m assuming a basking spot of 120-135 and a 6x4x4 minimum enclosure size. Any information about the specifics of a mangroves diet and humidity requirements would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone have experience in keeping mangrove monitors(or other indicus complex monitors)?

Mangrove monitors of various sizes seems to be very prevalent on online stores, and they don't seem to need as buch floor space as the Argus monitor, being semiaqatic and semiarboreal. I do know that they're shy and not hesitant to bite, so I need someone who have kept them to share some of their experience in keeping and perhaps handling them.

I've been researching the husbandry of varanids for a long time and is in no rush whatsoever to get one(Probably planning to start the enclosure build in a month or two and I'm not getting the animal any earlier than June). Just need someone experienced to share their experience.

Thanks!

[OC] Uplifted : Elephas Maximus Indicus

"Why do you speak to us rather than the humans? Do you believe yourself to still be hidden? Yes. We revealed ourselves 30 years ago now. We have been hunted by humans our entire history, but something changed. Nearly 3 millennia ago the humans began to care for some of us.

At first they used us for war, humans love their wars. We are far bigger and far stronger, while they could make the strangest coverings, much stronger than our hides, able to withstand sword and arrow. It worked for us, even in peace they kept is as mounts. We ensured royalty need never touch the ground.

Ha! Yes, we recognized the human royalty. My people are very spiritual and have always marveled that the humans appeared touched by the gods. Perhaps they were truly made in the creators image. While others, like the termite, might shape the land to fit their needs, humanity took the world.

Our revelation, yes. There were still protective measures around my people, for our protection. We were 'endangered'. Far less than we once were. No human poacher had killed one of my tribe for 5 years at that point, the protective measures were working.

And then the final attack. The last attack we ever allowed. A poacher got in, killed 3 of our children, whose tusks had not yet been dyed. One of those killed was my only daughter. I felt that pain so deeply, it filled me. Me and some others tracked the poacher, we found him polishing what was left of our children.

We took what was left of the poacher to the researcher's camp. We knew them to be freinds, many had been here since my own childhood. We always watched them writing things down while near is, studying. It was our turn, to make those same letters as best we could, we wrote in the dirt. 'WE WANT TO TALK'

It took a year to break down the communication barrier, another, to secure land and the independence of my people. The americans were quite amused when we celebrated the day of our final acceptance, July 4th 2045. We are allowed to try poachers who trespass on our lands in our own courts, by our own laws. In exchange only for art, and the commerce of ideas, they gave us infrastructure and power, as well as a seat in their United Nations.

What is your goal outsiders?

What do you fear?"

Questions about nureha and Indicus

I just starting to read log horizon and also read on the wiki that nureha and Indicus had a falling out.

Is there any other information other then that a civilwar is brewing/happening?

and my biggst question couldnt nureha not just kick Indicus out of the guild or even better blacklist her from the cathedral?

my knowledge abot LH is not very good at the moment, so i would love to hear your thoughts.
