There was a place I use to go near Newark Penn for the best hero sandwiches. I think they closed in the pandemic. What’s a good alternative?

I think we can all agree that New York is a little overcrowded in the superhero department. In one city we have Spider-Man, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Punisher, Misty Knight, Iron Fist, the Fantastic 4, Moon Knight, Cloak & Dagger, Hawkeye (sometimes), and others. Los Angeles and San Francisco have their share of heroes, but nowhere near as many as New York. If you had to move some New York based heroes to another city, who would they be and what city would you move them to? Characters like Spider-Man are inseparable from New York, but characters like Iron Fist or the Fantastic 4 could be based anywhere. Daredevil to Boston? Iron Fist to Seattle? Let’s hear yours!

I sell on a variety of sites so I figured trying here.. All sets are sealed, sime have crushed boxes. All figures are authentic and they are all $5 each, 5 for $20.

Hi,

I'm a Polish guy who is working on a family tree and recently, thanks to a Reddit investigation I was able to trace a history of long-lost nephew of my great-grandfather, Matthew (born: Mieczysław) Laskowski.

It seems that his life was pretty adventurous: born in 1912 in Poland, a Polish army soldier in 1939, PoW in Soviet camps from 1939 to 1941 (including gulag in Komi), joined Polish army again in 1941, went through that Army during its Italy campaign (and took part in the victorious and bloody battle of Monte Cassino, after WW2 he stayed in UK for a while and then emigrated to US, settling down in Calumet City changing his name from Mieczysław to Matthew.In 2001, he got saluted as Allied WW2 veteran.

According to his obituary, he died in 2003 and was interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City.In 2012, his wife, Cecilia was interred there as well.

Not sure under which name he is interred - it's either Matthew Laskowski, Mieczysław Laskowski or Matthew C. Laskowski. I'm also not sure if his wife is interred in the same grave, but it's a pretty safe bet that she is (or at least next to him)

UPDATE
Due to great links provided by u/New_Dragon_Lady (thank you!), now I know the exact location of the grave: grave 7, lot 8, block 21, section 10. The coordinates are N 41.60192550743069, W 87.5401161204685 or N 41 36.116W 87 32.407 for GPS users :)

Mieczysław is interred as Matthew, the name adopted after WW2.

Cecilia seems to be interred next to him, in grave number 8 (lot 8, block 21, section 10).

Here is the closest I can get on Google Street View.

Nevertheless, I still would like to have that picture.

Long story short, I'd like to incorporate his grave photo (and Cecilia's as well) into my family tree documentation.

I've contacted the church via e-mail (and yes, I'm aware that St Andrew the Apostle church is now a part of Jesus, Shepard of Souls parish), but to no avail.

Given the fact that I'm in Poland, I cannot call them (either church or cemetery) directly on the phone (
