A list of puns related to "Hatikva"
if anyone has the Piano notes to hatikva please tell me i need them
Hello brozis. I've been looking for a Hatikva sung in a Mizrahi accent for a while now. Can any of you send me such a recording? I think Hatikva is the best anthem (after the Lebanese one, of course).
EDIT: What I mean by Mizrahi accent is the oriental pronunciation of Hebrew (what very few Israelis use, correct me if I'm wrong).
It is a really inspiring upper. I have been listening to this song when I need a pick me up. Is there a Hatikva 6 community for English audiences?

The IDF managed to dig up some old footage of a Jewish day school in the 1930s with the children singing Hatikva: https://twitter.com/i/status/1123670626722570240 . While most of those children would die in the holocaust some would survive the death camps. Those that did survive then would survive the attempts by the Arab League and the British to have them freeze to death in the Displaced Persons Camps rather than immigrate to Palestine. They British and Arab league would fail and those children now as adults would make it to Palestine, join the Yishuv and fight in the War of Independence. Surviving the attempt by 6 nations to snuff their lives out once more.
At the end of the video you can see their grandchildren and great grandchildren singing Hatikva. The IDF ends with the message we sing in their honor. And they are quite right. The IDF is the ultimate symbol of never again. Those grandchildren sing not of mere hope but as the national anthem to a state they live in not as an unwanted pestilence but as humans in full dignity.
Quite moving for me, though I'm sure this thread will be filled with the typical #mereantizionism cynical hateful comments degrading those children's liberation.
