Question is pretty much in the title. I'm a huge fan of Fantasy Goblins and AoS Gloomspite and every time I take a look at their counterparts in 40k it makes me a bit sad. Perhaps it has something to do with 40k Orks borrowing the manic energy that the fantasy Goblins had. Maybe that makes the redundant? Regardless, I would love to see a unique Grot culture in 40k that is more than just Orks but small. Like how Night Goblins are very distinct from Fantasy Orcs.
Anybody else feel the same? Been doing a bit of writing for a fandex to scratch the itch. I thought a good place to start would be if Orks are a parody of British thuggishness and ignorance, maybe I could take inspiration from America's version for Grots. I have been having a lot of fun writing that.

- Dominion - Darius HinksKruleboyz is proppa scary, and dis book makes em seem that way. Not enough green in it for me, but youz umies may enjoy earing about how smashy and smart deez swamp boyz iz.
- I behemat - Eric GregoryNow DIS is a good story about a git. White Dwarf July 2021 has a proppa good story of ow a smart n handsum git (like me*) convinced a gargant that 'E was Behemat.
- Gloomspite - Andy ClarkDA BAD MOON HAS RISEN, N HE IZ PROPPA MAD. Mushrooms, N Squigs, N Umies screamin all ova da place. Dis book is grim, but for dem. For us it's a lot ov fun. Luv it.

If I wanted to turn grots into veteran guardsmen killteam what would you recommend i pick up for bits to make all of the options
This is mostly a modeling question but, like could a grot krump enough grots to get big enough (or kunning enough?) to krump orks and then eventually lead a decent sized WAAAAHG, maybe relying on gubbinz and kunnin over brute strength (Obviously the odds of this happening are insanely slim if at all)
the only things I can think of that are similar are The Grot Revolution and Grom the Paunch, just had a fun idea for a warboss and wondered if there was a way to do it without being too Gary Stew

Alright, the grots are self explanatory and I'll sell them both for the price of one. The custodes, they're not great, the custodian guard and the allarus are fine, but I can only find one biker for the 11 bikes I have. I guess if you wanna get into printing or want some conversion work have at them. I have a bunch of sprues with whole dudes still on them. This was definitely a bipolar purchase that I lost interest in. I know it's not great, make me an offer, it's yours and I'll ship it asap. Rather get them to someone that can make any form of use than just throw them away. Have all bases and flight stands for bikes and all the regular bases and a grab bag of sector imperialis bases because I such at basing. I'll entertain most offers. Obviously I won't ship them if it'd be more worthwhile to toss them. Happy New year everyone! Thanks for your time.
