A list of puns related to "George V Of The United Kingdom"
>King George V, who succeeded the aforementioned Alexander in May 1790, was known for his love of dice. Acer, the future duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, who knew him personally, described the young prince as βdashing about with a gang of amateursβ, and a man who loved to dice described him as βa true joy to beholdβ¦ He had the appearance of a well-bred teenager, with a high opinion of himself and his fellow-countrymenβ.

My teachers in elementary school (this was around 10 years ago) whenever we were discussing the American Revolution in history some of my teachers referred to him as "Fat King George" is there any actual merit to George III being in anyway overweight or is it because I am in the US and its just natural bias, because when I see his painting on Wikipedia he seems like a pretty skinny guy to me.
