A list of puns related to "Fromsoftware"
Here is what Daniel Ahmed said about this :
" Kadokawa's report was surprisingly open about this.
They expect lower revenue for the year ending March 31, 2022 and they cite delayed releases as a factor
It indicates Elden Ring may release after March 2022. Or it's just not in their forecast due to release timing uncertainty "
Lines i remember for some reason till today:
Actually, Bloodborne is probably the best game I've ever played.
Sorry, as it seems like Demon's Souls is the least favourite Soulslike of the majority of people, I'm not including it here because I need a slot to put the "No" option.
I didn't see many people talk about this. But Miles Dompier said casually in a video on windows central gaming that he has heard rumblings about a new Sci Fi RPG that microsoft is publishing and is being developed by FromSoftware. He says it's currently in preproduction so it's still early
It's worth noting that windows central have access to a lot of insiders to microsoft and xbox. But as always, take things with a grain of salt.
That being said, it would make so much sense for microsoft to partner with FromSoftware. They made some of the best RPGs the last few years. They have a big impact in both the west, and Japan. They have a huge audience in the pc market. They are also open to working with western publishers such as activision on Sekiro. And adding a new FromSoftware rpg to game pass day one would be amazing and could open for more partnerships

Mine is the beginning monologue by Oceiros
" Ahh, you ignorant slaves. Finally taken notice have you? "
I just love the way its being said by Oceiros, it give me Goosebumps
I know at least Dark Souls 2 & 3 do, I donβt know about the first one, and Iβm wondering if Nioh 1 or 2, Bloodborne, Sekiro, or any other FromSoftware games dont have spiders...sorry if this seems like a stupid question but I just canβt stand spiders in video games, like itβs bad...anyways, thanks in advance! Iβm really dying to play one of these games but spiders stop me from playing many games I want to play and I absolutely hate it.
So we know theyve been using reiterations of their engine since forever and that has allowed them to continuously polish and refine the feel, flow and speed of combat in their games. The only thing I think that their games lack is graphics. Not the art design, atmosphere or mood, the engine seems to be great for those things, but the quality of the graphics. Sekiro looks great and if you look at the jumps from ds-ds2-bb-ds3-sdt, theres a big difference and I know rhey can improve upon it, but Ive been playing thru death stranding recently and it has blown me away again and again. While death stranding is more of an βart gameβ its still crazy to see the difference in fidelity. They cant switch engines as that would erase decades of combat polish, but someone whose more knowledgeable what do you think they can do?
After seeing the cut content of DS1 and Demon Souls and reading the original story of DS3, I am actually glad that Fromsoftware is taking more time to develop the game. They are most likely trying to bring the series to its full potential instead of cutting or rushing a certain part of the game to reach a fixed date.
God damn it, I have hyped myself even more.
So, I watched some videos on FromSoftware games like DS3, Sekiro, etc, and I wanted to try them out, since they looked cool. What game should I start with? I play on the PS4, and I have played games like GOT, God of War, and Skyrim. I was thinking about getting Sekiro, since it looked more like GOT to me, and I absolutely LOVE GOT. I also liked Bloodborne, because it looked like a good game, which mainly focused on aggression and timing. DS3 looked too cliche to me at first, but I saw some gameplay, and it was much better than I expected.
EDIT- Based on all of the comments on this post, I'm going with DS3 and Sekiro this month, and I'm gonna buy Bloodborne next month. Thanks to all the people who helped me come to this decision!
This is just my opinion. I would love to hear yours below.
6-DS2:SOTFS
Lots of ganks in this one. This is still a fantastic game with some amazing dlc but it doesnβt quite live up to the others for me. 7/10
Favorite boss: Fume Knight
5-DS3
This game is fantastic and has the highest boss quality of any fromsoft game in my opinion. Bosses are a joy as i said, but the areas are dull, bland, and just plain boring. This results in me sprinting through all of the areas more often than not. 8/10
Favorite boss: Slave Knight Gael (favorite boss in series)
4-Sekiro
Just an amazing game. I love everything about it, from the beautiful set pieces to the fantastic deflect and reflexive as well as reactive combat this is one of the finest of the generation. Only thing holding it back is the lack of build variety since you are limited to one weapon. 9/10
Favorite boss: Isshin, The Sword Saint
3-Demons Souls
Note that i will be ranking the remake as I have not played the original. This game is fantastic. The ambience, the music, the arch stone system, my personal favorite hub in the series, fantastic areas (except 5th archstone), and exciting bosses, this game is just amazing. 9.5/10 Cause 5th archstone
Favorite boss- Penetrator
2-Bloodborne
This game is fantastic. I love the areas of this one, and it has the second highest boss quality behind ds3 in my opinion. The rally system and quickstep encourages a fast and aggressive play style, which I just love so much. I really canβt find a flaw with this game. 10/10
Favorite boss: Ludwig, the Accursed
1-DS1
What iβm sure comes as a surprise to no one. Up until a few weeks ago I had ds1 at number 5 in my list. I played it until i got the lordvessel after o+s and then got bored and quit. However, I came back to finish it the other day. Since then I am now 5 playthroughs deep working on a 6th. Everything about this game is great. The interconnected world is a marvel in game design, the bosses for the most part are great, has my personal favorite DLC in the series, everything is just perfection. Absolute 10/10.
Favorite boss: Manus, Father of the Abyss
Soooo. The entire NG+ doesnβt fit well lore-wise. Basically, you go back to the asylum and proceed to replace Gwyn just like in your first game.
I couldnβt help but think of a better way to setup NG+ and onwards.
Your first character beats Gwyn and (assuming) that you link the first flame, your character offers himself to extend the Age of Fire.
But what if in NG+ you go back to the asylum w/ everything and the game pushes you to link the first flame again.
Then, instead of facing Gwyn, you face your own character as the LAST BOSS.
How cool would that be? Then everytime you beat the game, the last boss in the next playthrough changes to the equip and stats you used to beat the last boss in the previous game.
It also makes more sense lore-wise because of the cycle of sacrificing undead to extend the Age of Fire.
What do you think? What if there was a mod like this?
OK, so Bloodborne was my first ever foray into FromSoftware's worlds. After absolutely hating it at first it slowly became, without doubt, my favourite game of all time. The lore, the combat, the setting, the story, the characters, the bosses. They were all incredible. I finished it about 3 months ago and I still think about it all the time!
So, which FromSoft game should I play next to scratch that itch? I tried Sekiro and, whilst I enjoyed it (mainly due to the excellent combat), I only got as far as the Corrupted Monk because the story and the setting just didn't grab me at all. I really wanted to love it, but it felt too much like I was forcing myself to do so.
I'm sure I'll go back to it at some point, because I hate leaving games unfinished, but in the meantime what do you guys recommend?
I've been playing for about 5 days and I just beat the cleric beast on my third try! I feel so accomplished!! The amount of relief that left my body was indescribable.
Alright so let me preface this by saying this is my very first Soulsborne game. I went into this game blind and absolutely nothing could have prepared me for how difficult it was. All the fodder monsters give off final boss energy and I have to squeeze out every ounce of skill to strategically and carefully take them down. My heart rate hasn't been this high since Arya was in that library with the undead. The game punishes you when you mess up but when you get it right, it's SO satisfying to succeed at. I love the gothic style.
Also, parrying is the ultimate feel good move. Whipping out a visceral attack on a seemingly tough foe is sooo badass. I was iffy with the timing at first but I quickly got used to it and now I can't stop.
