> Fluorspar is an essential mineral used in a vast array of metallurgical, chemical, and electronic products. Ares Strategic Mining operates the Lost Sheep Fluorspar Resource in Juab County, Utah, an easy to operate resource, which contains the highest naturally occurring grade fluorspar in the US. This is the only fully permitted and producing fluorspar resource within the United States. The United States is the largest importer of fluorspar in the world, and the second largest consumer of fluorine products. The United States Department of the Interior has classified fluorspar as, "critical to economic and national security". The Lost Sheep Resource is currently being developed to produce acidspar, in addition to metspar, which constitutes approximately 70% of all fluorspar demand. Ares Strategic will enter produc

The world is transitioning away from dependency on fossil fuels and the REEβs are essential to this vision for the future with green technologies.
AND
The worldβs largest exporter(China) of both the REEβs and fluorspar has become a net importer of both commodities.
It can be stated that everyone who is looking to reduce or eliminate their current dependency on China, and looking to find a new source of either the REEβs or fluorspar, are actually in competition with China on this goal.
In this case, what are you thoughts that how investing in CCE can generate positive results for you?

MEET FLUORSPAR
Fluorspar, also known as Fluorite, is a critical mineral used in a wide variety of metallurgical, chemical, ceramic, optical, and lapidary processes. It is used to manufacture products such as aluminum, cement, gasoline, refrigerants, steel, and uranium fuel, as well as touch screens and electric car batteries. This essential material cannot be recycled, and must be continuously mined to support growing global demand. In fact, fluorspar is so important that in 2018, the United States Department of the Interior deemed it a commodity, βcritical to the economic and national security of the United Statesβ. If youβve ever used fluoride toothpaste, handled a touch screen phone, drove an electric vehicle, or cooled your food in a refrigerator, then youβve experienced the benefits of fluorspar. Even Gore-Tex, the popular technology that is used in clothing and medical devices, is synthesized from fluorspar.
MEET THE INDUSTRY
By a gross margin, China is the largest producer of Fluospar, and accounts for approximately 57% of total global volume, while Mexico and South Africa are a distant second and third.
In the United States, fluorspar consumption is satisfied by imports, and small quantities of byproduct synthetic fluorspar. In 2019, the United States imported 425,000 t of Fluorspar as well as 124,000 t of hydrofluoric acid, 37,300 t of aluminum fluoride, and 20,700 t of cryolite, all critical materials produced directly from fluorspar. Additionally, the United States government maintains no stock pile of Fluorspar, and the only exports of acid- and metallurgical-grade fluorspar are re-exports.
The fluorspar market is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 5% between 2020 and 2025, largely as a result of growing demand from the chemical, aluminum, and steel industries. The evolution of electric vehicles and energy storage has increased the need for fluoro-based additives and solvents, which are used in the production of lithium-ion batteries, while the need for metallurgical grade fluorspar has been driven by growing aluminum

This article popped up when I was doing my more news research. DD still has to be done but this might be interesting.
Here is the quick and dirty
WHAT IS FLUORSPAR
Fluorspar is a mineral used in a wide variety of things such as steel, aluminum, and uranium fuel. The bonus is it also has a wide variety of usage that extends out to touch screens and EV car batteries. In the US it is imported and on the critical minerals list

ITS USE IN STEEL
Steel mills require 10-20lbs of fluorspar per ton of steel.
Aluminum production requires 60 lbs of fluorspar per ton of aluminum.

WHERE IS IT FOUND IN THE US?
The Lost Sheep mine in UTAH (there are other international producers ie China but supply seems to have been restrained due to internal requirements and the pollution factor)
There is only 1 company from what I can determine who has permits in the US to mine this stuff and it is Ares Strategic Mining Inc. ARS or ARSMF.
Iβm still looking into this company but it seems like an interesting side bet along with steel.
Iβm not financial advisor and this is not investment advice. Do your own DD
