Planning a honeymoon to Italy (from United States --> flying out of Atlanta) in late March to early April 2022. While I would love to extend our trip and see more of Italy, I think we will just do regions of Italy at a time to spend more time in each one. I made an itinerary and tried to budget for 6 days in Florence and surrounding areas and would love to run it by some seasoned travelers. (Wedding is Saturday, 3/26/22)
Mon 3/28/22 - Depart ATL 3:00 p.m.
Tue 3/29 - Arrive in Florence at 9:00 a.m.
- Drop bags off at hotel
- Leisurely explore the Piazza del Duomo - Dome, Bell Tower, Crypt, Baptistery, and Museum
- Wander over to San Lorenzo Market and explore / eat some lunch
- Check into hotel, freshen up at get ready for aperitivo and dinner
Wed 3/30 - Leisurely morning
- Lunch at a nicer restaurant w/ view of Florence
- 2:30 pm - Half Day Trip to Chianti via coach bus to visit wine estates
- Return to Florence for dinner
Thu 3/31 - Up early to explore Florence
- Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Ponte Vecchio, Leather School, Accademia Gallery
- Dinner
Fri 4/1 - Half day trip to Bologna
- Arrive in Bologna via train around 8am
- Bologna Food Tour 10am-2pm
- Train back to Florence later in the evening & dinner in Florence
Sat 4/2 - Day trip to Cinque Terre
- Full Day Tour to Cinque Terre
- Dinner in Florence
Sun 4/3 - Flex Day
- Can city hop to Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, etc or just spend more time exploring Florence if we didn't get to see everything we wanted to see
Mon 4/4 - Fly home at 12:40pm and arrive back in ATL at 7:20pm
*We are not interested in renting a car/driving anywhere ourselves because we want to be relaxing and drinking wine the whole time, haha

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
