Really wanted to see Flogging Molly and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes last night, but indoor concert concerns kept me away. Who went and how awesome was it?
This sucks. Flogging Molly and a few other bands are touring and coming to my town in less than two weeks. They are playing at a really cool outdoor venue that is also about 7 blocks from my house. I bought tickets months ago along with some friends. Last night we got emails stating that the Event Organizer has decided that proof of full vaccine at least two weeks ago or a negative covid test(72 hours prior) are required for entry. My friends and I are no longer going. I am not really anti- mRNA shot, but I am anti-mandate and pro -privacy. I am not vaccinated, wife is but either way, I am not going to "show my papers" to be allowed to do something. I am also not willing to be inconvenienced to go get a test for something I do not feel I need to be tested for. In other words, my healthcare is between me and my doctor and I am not some fucking monkey to do silly tricks for you.
So, no concert for me and my friends. Even if I was vaccinated I would not comply. There is really no need for this anyway at an outdoor venue. My state was the last to close on east coast and first to reopen. There are similar sized businesses a block from this venue that are packed everyday(and not all outside either). I am not playing silly virtue signaling games. I do have an excellent fake vax card I could use, but that would give concert promoters the impression of compliance. They need to know that we are not interested. Since this is a new rule, Ticketmaster will refund the tickets. I had a choice to make and this is what I had to do.
I know this is a co-headline tour, but the few confirmed reports I have seen has FM closing out the night. Has anyone seen VF close the show or does it always seems to be Flogging Molly?

Let me start off with me just saying I am a single dad with three great kids. Living in Marin where all dads go to die isn't as much fun as it is cracked up to be, and I like all the normal BS normal people do; i.e. hiking, biking, walking in the rain, dancing on the beach during sunsets, wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma, and walking my dog. I have been around the block a few times, have a healthy dose of cynicism and sarcasm, and think that staying healthy should be tapered with good food and drinks (pilsner over IPA). I know my tastes aren't for everyone, but let's chat and see if we are a good fit for each other.

Going on a specialty cruise and am a first timer. It's only a 4 day trip but what were some out of the box examples of things to bring for the ship or to the Grand Bahamas and Nassau in Late March?
Are there excursions to stay away from and is it cheaper to book those on board or weeks to months out?
I'm aware bringing alcohol on board from a port gets confiscated til end of trip so is there any notable Bahamian spirits to bring back to the states? Is the duty free shops on board Norwegians Pearl marked up significantly to make up the no taxes?
Lastly what excursions have you had fun with to these islands. We're late 30s no kids.
