A list of puns related to "Exponential Object"
How would I go about creating logarithmic / exponential blend distance between two shapes in one direction or even two without some third party plugin? I don't think this can be done on a single shape (at least in one direction only) with a repeater, which would be ideal, but I sincerely hope I'm wrong. https://i.postimg.cc/9fYm9xjp/11111.png
Also let's keep to Newtonian unless things get interesting with relativity
My idea is that lets say with alpha radiation, roughly 6cm of air would stop alpha radiation, but does the 1cm of air stop the most alpha radiation? My kinda theory is that since there is a higher possibility at the start for radiation to collide with air particles, the first cm of air would have the most collisions hence stopping the most alpha radiation particles.

For those wondering why Design Space for Desktop runs so slowly: I ran some simple tests and found that the computation time increases exponentially as you add new objects to your design. Try this yourself: make a simple square. Duplicate it about 100 times. Select all, click 'attach' and then use a stopwatch to time how long it takes to complete the attaching. Now copy and paste another 40, select all, attach and time it again. Keep increasing the number of objects and you find that the computation time grows disproportionately. Here's my data: (number of objects / time to attach (s) / time to detach (s) )
120 / 3.9 / 6.1
160 / 6.4 / 11.6
200 / 9.9 / 19.8
240 / 17.2 / 29.6
280 / 25.0 / 43.7
320 / 35.5 / 60.5
360 / 51.0 / 84.0
This implies some very poor computer code with many redundant calculations happening each time you add a new object (either within DS or uploaded from another program). Light users with designs comprising only a few objects won't notice this. However, users making more complex designs will quickly find that Design Space for Desktop grinds to a halt as you get up to hundreds of objects.
This is not 'necessary'. For comparison, the Design Space app on Android does not suffer this at all, and while it is also very buggy, I've been able to get complex designs (500 elements) to load and attach within seconds whereas the Windows app hasn't completed this in over an hour. Let's keep on at the Cricut software engineers to deliver us a software interface that actually functions as well as their wonderful machine!
I forgot where I heard this and I'm contemplating if this should be asked in a scientific subreddit. I think found it in a question about how big an object should be to devastate earth and someone pointed this out, but it sounds so bullshit I decided to just ask it here.
Edit: this was a hypothetical question which is why it was pointed out.
Inflation resulted in exponential expansions of space, but doesn't that mean that, by general relativity, time should have passed exponentially fast, too?
Is the inflatory epoch regarded as part of our universe timeline? If so, the universe current age should be way more than 13.72 B years. Or does time start after relaxation of the inflaton field?
UPDATE: thanks for the all haters in the comments lol, at least you got to m00n farm hey. Thats alll anyone cares about m00ns.
TLDR:
You're not gonna make it in crypto unless you know the bullshit & secrets that go on beyond the scenes. In this thread i will tell you what you need to know. You may not like it, but it's important if you want to level up.
INTRODUCTION
Forget everything you think you know about cryptocurrency.
You need to realise crypto is a game. A game where, most likely, you will lose. A game filled with players with more experience than yourself. Players with far more influence, connection and often skill. The inconvenient truth is we arenβt all βgonna make itβ
Beyond Bitcoin & some credible projects there are countless failed ones. Some projects have good intentions but are grossly overvalued. Others are quite simply scams & money grabs.
But before you get angry at me & stop reading. Before you heckle βFUDβ or βYouβre Not Gonna Make Itβ. Let me explain myself.
Yes crypto is filled with scams & scammers, but there is big money to be made. But only IF you understand how the rules of this game work & how to play it successfully. At the momentΒ many of you are playing the game blindfolded. Giving others the upperhand.
That's why for this first post I will pull back the curtain. And reveal the rules of the game. The rules many donβt want you to know. If youβve been in the game for a while you may know some of them. If youβre new, read it twice and let it all sink in.
Why am I doing this? Why am I revealing these secrets? Because before I teach you anything you need to know how this game works. You need to know these rules if you want to have a chance at actually winning. Because if you want to win this game, you must first know how it is played.
So you have two choices in front of you, do you want to learn the truth & get better.
Or do you want to carry on, hopiuming for the best
THE FIVE SECRET RULES
1 BE WARY OF INFLUENCERS
Anyone who has been in crypto for more than six months will likely be aware of the first rule. Many of you will have been wrecked by a big YouTube influencer, who shilled you some random alt coin. You were told it would x100, you aped in & now it's down 80%. Donβt be embarrassed or ashamed of this. To tell you the truth the same happened to me. In fact it was the best thing that ever happened to me. It taught me to actually do my own research, think

I'm fully of the opinion that star trek doesn't need a rigorous warp speed. The shows have only ever followed vague rules for warp speed (Voyager probably following this the most) and that's not been a detriment to storytelling, regardless of the worldbuilding headaches. But as a thought experiment for what could be used in an alternate universe where the writers really wanted consistency I'd propose the titular equation, where v is velocity, c is speed of light, and w is warp factor:
V = c * w^4.2
Quick background points: as most fans are probably aware there are a few non-canon warp equations that appeared in writer's guides. Most notably TOS had w^3, and TNG had w^(10/3). The problem with these numbers is that even high warp is incredibly slow. They also flat out contradict Gene's original pitch that the Enterprise travelled at 18ly/d. Which leads neatly into the topic for how warp works narratively. I'd contend that warp has two, somewhat contradictory, narrative requirements in trek.
Both the TOS and TNG equations satisfy the first requirement, but not the second. Warp 9 for these scales work out to 2 and 5 lightyears/day respectively. That's fine for age of sail, but extremely slow for any interstellar rapid response. This is exacerbated by the fact many ships are said to have top speeds even lower than this, with shuttle craft limited to speeds of less than warp 5 (.3 and .6 ly/day for each scale).
So, no more beating around the bush, why is 4.2 a better constant? Here's the comparison for ly/day up to warp 9
Warp Factor | TOS | TNG | V=c*w^4.2 |
---|---|---|---|
1 | (negligible) | (negligible) | (negligible) |
2 | .02 | .03 | .05 |
3 | .07 | .11 | .28 |
4 | .18 | .28 | .93 |
5 | .34 | .59 | 2.36 |
6 | .59 | 1.08 | 5.08 |
7 | .94 | 1.8 | 9.71 |
8 | 1.4 | 2.81 | 17.01 |
9 | 2 | 4.15 | 27.89 |
The 4.2 scale is still quite slow at factors <5, but it's around warp 5 it starts to get interesting. At more than 2 light years a day it would only take the NX-Enterprise a couple of

Considering it is traveling across universe for billions of years, we probably have no way to experiment such extreme conditions on earth? π€ Or do we? Do we have also some other proof of universe expansion?
As an OG (I'm 38 now) who studied dating skills for the past 15+ years I wanted to share the steps I took to get good with women, especially as a minority in the US. I keep getting the same questions in my DMs, and so I wanted to write something memorable.
I have no other intention than to share my knowledge, but as a disclaimer, you should know that I made a decision to quit my job a year ago to pursue my calling and now I do coach people on relationships and their dating skills, about 40% of my clients are of of Asian decent.
That said, I am also a diplomatic kid who was bullied, called a bunch of names - ratface, crater fake, loser, Asian freak, bamboo branch and many more. High school felt like HELL for me and I remained a virgin until 23 year old. (I never even kissed a girl.)
Being from a diplomatic family, I've lived in many different countries and saw the different in social hierarchies from east and west, first hand, and I also eventually in my humble opinion got to the top of the social and dating hierarchy by most men's standards. When I told an OG internet marketing friend about my experience - he said I'm the only guy who has this type of unique experience, and that I should put it out there in the world.
Therefore, I humbly share my experience with you here.
In this post...I am specifically going to focus on dating in western culture (outside of Asia) and dating freedom - meaning not being limited to just Asian girls or girls of any culture. That said, if you live in Asia, think of these as extra bonuses that will improve your dating life anyway if you implement them.
In other words, my goal is to help you be able to date whoever you want, whenever you want. And to understand the steps to acquire the skill set to do that.
Make no mistake, this is a skill. Just like playing basketball or learning jujitsu, there are steps, building blocks and fundamentals in training that get you into higher and higher levels.
STEP 1 - EGO and PRIDE must go
Take your ego out the equation. She's not rejecting YOU as a PERSON. She's rejecting your approach, or her experience of you. While dating is a very "social" skill, it is not one where your identity as a person is being rejected. People are trained to respond to the UI on an online dating app - they are swiping based on pre-programmed intentions on superficial traits, they are NOT rejection "you", as a person.
Once you practice letting go of your ego and seeing this as a game - like lea

This is disregarding potentially millions of reported cases throughout human history. Effectively gaslighting the conversation unless it pertains to a specific modern instance. Even then it often does not have a place on this subreddit, minus that one time jeremy posted a video of a radar.
There have been seemingly thousands of military individuals testimonies that they saw the objects with there eyeballs, there are a few that we know of currently that the same object were recorded on radar and additionally visually confirmed.
A few unclassified high profile cases with good data and visual confirmation is plenty to assume there are many more classified events we have yet to hear about. Or it is evidence for a psyop. We will get into why believing the psyop theory opens the door to woo theories leading up to my final point.
To exclaim "They are all grifters" is too simple and makes less sense when compared to the psyop theory.

Time passes normally for the object itself, but to an outside observer they would see the object move slower and slower, until eventually it red-shifted out of the visible spectrum.
However, for outside observers not under the influence of the black hole's time dilation, wouldn't that mean that any object falling into the black hole takes billions of years to actually cross the event horizon? If so, how does matter actually reach the singularity? Wouldn't the majority of every black hole's mass be currently in the process of still crossing the event horizon, given the age of the universe?
America
In order to abolish slavery, the United States ultimately had to fight a war. Peaceful abolitionists who called for gradual abolition were still attacked. Congressβ initial attempts at compromises between abolitionists and pro-slavery factions, such as the Compromise Act of 1850 and the creation of the 36β²30 line, not only did not prevent war, but indeed may have accelerated the outbreak of war. And even with those concessions, the Supreme Court only benefited slaveowners with their judgments in cases like Dred Scott v. Sanford, severely derailing the abolitionist cause. To the Southern states, slavery was a way of life, an integral part of theirΒ βcultureβ, which the Ghiscari elite in Meereen claim as well. To defendΒ βtheir way of lifeβ, the Southern states were willing to fight a war. They did not want gradual abolition of slavery, they did not care aboutΒ βpeacefulβ methods of abolishing slavery, and they did not concede to compromises or deals. For them, it was either a full allowance of slavery or nothing at all. This is thus why the civil war broke out; slavery would not have been abolished if the Southern states were not cowed by force and forcefully brought back into the Union.
Haiti
Haiti is widely known as the first country to ever abolish slavery in all its forms. Did they accomplish this peacefully? No, they accomplished this by fighting a bloody war against France. The Haitian Revolution was not a flowery show of negotiation, peace, and compromise.
Britain
Britain is hilariously cited as an example of a country thatΒ βpeacefullyβ andΒ βunilaterallyβ abolished slavery. . While it is true that Britishers did not fight a civil war amongst themselves to abolish slavery as the Americans did, it is entirely incorrect to say that the process was peaceful. Firstly, what is erased in this narrative is that there were slave rebellions and slave revolutions in Britainβs colonies. One of the most famous examples of this is the Baptist War of 1831, which took place in Jamaica after the Jamaican people began a peaceful protest against slavery which escalated to an armed conflict (that the colonial officials and garrisons put down). This incident among others led the Parliament to take steps to pass the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833. So no, Parliament did not abolish slavery because abolitionistsΒ βasked nicely." Server-side scripting is also called βbackendβ programming because it happens behind the scenes on the backend of your website.

Flashpoint sites in pochven provide an insanely lucrative PvE opportunity. With 15 people in fleet, each site pays just short of 3.5b split amongst all pilots. These sites are static, meaning that there is always a constant # of 3 sites within pochven. Whenever a site is finished, a new one spawns. Letβs discuss why this simple PvE site is such a wealth of content for all players.
The sites have a βsoft-capβ on fleet size. If you have more than 15 people in fleet, you get less isk as a total. Yes there are ways to cheese this by having people drop fleet, but people are more likely to want to keep fleets small as to maximize their own payouts. Having multiple of these 15 man fleets means there are fights happening all over pochven. Itβs why you see the # of fights decrease as a function of group size. Sure the fights that do happen maybe bigger, but they also happen exponentially less often. Itβs important to note that this is a soft cap, because eve is a sandbox and if you want to be able to do something you should be able to. That means If I want to be Pandemic Horde and blob these 15 man groups with 100 people, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO, but that also means that this should be de-incentivized by things such as less payout for sites.
Pochven is a unique place where capital supremacy is largely irrelevant outside of structure defense and there are no cynos/jump gates. This means you find so many more people simply taking gates. These 15 man fleets are constantly traveling to run sites which gives opportunity for fights outside of rorqual ganks and structure timers (Iβm falling asleep just thinking about it). This makes it so large groups cannot project over large areas.
Since the # of sites is static, it forces competition over them, which again leads to conflict and potential for fights. The reason people are willing to fight is simple, thereβs a high chance of a fair fight β15v15β which is appealing, and there is a high reward, the site payout.
I really want to take a second and congratulate CCP on getting this right. I know Iβm going to gloss over a lot of stuff going over this, sorry about this but I need to fit it all into four posts without giving everyone a 400 page treatise on macro-economics to read. Counter-DDs and opinions welcome. This is going to be a lot longer than a normal DD, but I promise the pay-off is worth it, knowing the history is key to understanding where we are today.
SERIES (Parts 1-4) TL/DR: We are at the end of a MASSIVE debt supercycle. This 80-100 year pattern always ends in one of two scenarios- default/restructuring (deflation a la Great Depression) or inflation (hyperinflation in severe cases (a la Weimar Republic). The United States has been abusing itβs privilege as the World Reserve Currency holder to enforce its political and economic hegemony onto the Third World, specifically by creating massive artificial demand for treasuries/US Dollars, allowing the US to borrow extraordinary amounts of money at extremely low rates for decades, creating a Sword of Damocles that hangs over the global financial system.
The massive debt loads have been transferred worldwide, and sovereigns are starting to call our bluff. Governments papered over the 2008 financial crisis with debt, but never fixed the underlying issues, ensuring that the crisis would return, but with greater ferocity next time. Systemic risk (from derivatives) within the US financial system has built up to the point that collapse is all but inevitable, and the Federal Reserve has demonstrated it will do whatever it takes to defend legacy finance (banks, broker/dealers, etc) and government solvency, even at the expense of everything else (The US Dollar).
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

As a long running series, Darius is not a stranger to innovation and formula changes. Even though the basics of the series like giant fish and the Silver Hawk progression remain, there have also been attempts to change the formula and add new mechanics. Darius Gaiden introduced us to the concept of capturing minibosses. Dariusburst made prominent use of the burst beam for beam battles. Right there, in-between, lies G-Darius, featuring both the beams and the captures.
There is definitely a lot to look forward to in this G-Darius port! As a game, G-Darius is regarded by many as one of the best entries in the franchise. As a porting studio, M2 has time and again proven that they are one of the best, if not the best, studio to entrust your porting duties. When these two come together, there really isnβt anything capable of stopping this juggernaut of a game!

G-Darius HD is a horizontally scrolling shmup. In terms of main Darius releases, G-Darius was released after Darius Gaiden. It features improved graphics and sports more of the 3D cinematic flair that was popular during the PSX era. This port in particular contains the original game in its pixelated polygon natural state, but also contains an HD version that upscales the graphics for a beautiful display on modern screens.
GOTTA CATCH βEM ALL
The main addition to G-Darius is a vastly revamped capture system. Unlike Darius Gaiden, G-Darius letβs you capture almost any non-boss in the game. The capture system is limited by a resource known as capture balls. At any point, you can throw a capture ball and turn an enemy into an allied ship. The captured enemy will fly alongside you and attack in its own particular way.
In a way, the capture system reminds me of pokemon. Part of the experience is knowing the enemies and how they will fight when they are at your side. By learning about all the enemies, you can figure out which can adapt to your playstyle and make you a better player. Or maybe you can just snag the prettiest enemy, I wonβt judge you.
But a fully fledged capturing experience wouldnβt be complete without a handy gallery to fill out! Just like a certain dex, G-Darius HD has a collection tab that you can access at any time and which will fill up as you capture different types of enemies. But th

It's still a fresh technology (for cubing, at least) and there are still some misconceptions about it going around, so let's take a closer look at how maglev actually works and understand what it does that's different from springs, and learn about tensioning systems along the way.
I bet pretty much everyone here is familiar with cube terminology, but I want to make sure we're starting with a level playing field. (Feel free to skip this section.)
The screws that hold a cube's center pieces in place aren't screwed in all the way, but rather there's some room for the center pieces to move outwards. This amount of "room" is adjustable by turning the screw, and we call it the screw depth, or axis travel distance, or just travel distance (or other names, even). When a cube has a lot of travel distance (= a lot of room for the pieces to move outwards), it will feel more flexible and faster, but also less stable and may pop or corner twist. On the other hand, decreasing travel distance makes the cube less flexible but also more stable.
But each center piece also has a spring inside it so that the pieces don't jiggle around freely. The spring sits between the bottom of the center piece and the screw head, providing a force that pushes the pieces toward the core. You can use springs of different strengths to get different qualities without having to change the travel distance: Stronger springs make the cube more stable but also more rigid, while weaker springs make the cube looser and more flexible but also less stable. That's helpful when you want to change how stable/flexible the cube is, without changing the other properties that come with turning the screw, like the corner cutting or the cube's propensity to pop.
In the past, changing springs used to be hard and few people ever did it, but then Gan cubes started to come with easily swappable springs, and nowadays every flagship cube comes with a system that lets you change the stiffness of the spring without swapping it at all by simply applying some compression to the spring. That's called a spring tensioning system, and it lets you apply some pre-compression to the spring, which is equivalent to using a spring that was stronger to begin with. (*That's not exactly true, as we'll see.)
Alright so my last, completely unrelated post making a prediction for Tanjiro vs Jonathan was removed without any warning, which really sucks as I had just made a significant edit in Jonathan's scaling which heavily affected my overall verdict.
As much as I'd like to argue with the mods, I can see that the post may have been in violation of Rule 4 of the sub, which I get. My bad then.
So with all this in mind I'd like to say that: This is not a post revolving around the MU/episode idea of Vegeta vs Thor. This is an analysis of two Death Battle returnees, Thor & Vegeta, who just so happen to be analyzed in one post and is not part of the prediction series I started with Tanjiro vs Jonathan. The intention behind this post is to simply make an analysis on Vegeta, a confirmed returnee for season 9, and provide an update on Thor, who has changed significantly since his last appearance on Death Battle which would make for a very different analysis of the character if he were to hypothetically return to the show either today or relatively soon.
All that clear? Good. I would also like to add that I'll be formatting this analysis of the two differently from how I usually do it. Anyone familiar with my post defending DIO and the Tanjiro vs Jonathan one linked above know that normally I compare two characters in a category (typically physicals followed by abilities & equipment) rather than doing a full analysis on one and then the other. However since I am not comparing either Thor or Vegeta to each other, I will be doing a full analysis on one character, followed by a full analysis on the other, with absolutely no comparison between the two. If you wish to know how I think the two compare, just ask me in the comments.
And without any further delay, we start with Prince Vegeta:
...and by that I mean we're starting with the Dragon Ball universe size, Beerus/Broly scaling, and multipliers in that order.
Now ever since Goku Black vs Reverse Flash I've personally had an issue with most of the arguments of how Uni Dragon Ball is portrayed, namely using the Observable Universe as a base for Dragon Ball's universe size. Objectively speaking we know for fact that our irl Observable Universe is not the universe's actual limit in size based on a whole number of different models of the universe.

Doctor Mark Ruthgar, MD, PhD, Specialist in Astrobiology stepped into the comfortable Copenhagen Summer night, crossed the street into the park, and with the trees partially shielding him from the city lights, looked up at what few stars he could make out. After another long day of teaching, advising, and trying to coordinate some research on new microbes brought back from the colonies, Doctor Ruthgar needed a break.
Humans had developed Faster Than Light (FTL) travel almost fifty years before, but the vast distances of space meant that they still hadnβt spread all that far. There are only about eighty three stars within twenty light-years of Earth, and only a handful of them are orbited by colonizable planets. Even traveling at fifty times the speed of light, it still takes a month to get to the nearest colony and four months to get to the farthest, creating a situation not unlike exploration by sailing ship centuries before. The colonizable worlds found thus far had oxygen-producing life, but nothing more sentient than moss.
As Doctor Ruthgar breathed in the cool Summer air and stared up at a group of stars in the vicinity of the constellation Cygnus, he had no way of knowing that he was looking right at the first contact between humans and another sentient species, taking place in the vicinity of a small yellow star twenty five light-years away. It would be another six months, before news of the "Dawnflower incident" reached Earth.

The picture, taken some six years earlier, shows her standing on the porch of their home back on Rladan. Gnolderβs home was typical of single family residences all across the rladii home-world: a mostly underground structure accessed through an above-ground cupola surrounded by a covered porch. The railing along the east side of Gnolderβs porch supported a vine called "dawnflower". Gnolder came up to the porch nearly every morning to watch the flowers on vine slowly unfold into the light of the rising sun. When fully opened, the eight violet petals formed a flower the size of Gnolderβs hand with his four fingers and two opposable thumbs spread out. The flowers tracked the sun until mid-morning when, in the rising heat, the petals rolled back up again until the next morning. Since Rladan has no axial tilt, it has no seasons and the dawnflower blooms anew every sunny day, all year long. For this rea

I initially posted this story on an Italian forum under the topic βthe stupidest DM you ever hadβ, but a friend of mine asked me to post here in RPG horror stories. First things first, I should apologize in advance for my bad English, as this is the first time I write such a lengthy text in foreign language so please excuse any error in syntax or grammar. And speaking about lengthy, buckle your seats because this is a long story. Like, so long that I had to divide in chapters (no kidding, weβre talking 1 hour long or more read).
The reason for such wordiness is because this was not wrote straight away, but rather in small fragments along the months of this delirious campaign. So here is it, the almost word-by-word translation from the original post:
After my umpteenth attempt to play a D&D campaign, gone dead because the usual absentee players, I was able to find a group of players in my city thanks to some unforeseen miracle. And by βmiracleβ I mean a divine intervention, from an unnamed deity who decided to relentlessly punish me in this earthly realm. I do not believe in reincarnation, but if thatβs actually true after enduring this campaign I will reborn in a well-hung billionaire. With wings.
By getting in touch, I learn this is a Pathfinder group who came to be from the union of other players who, just like me, had to deal with various desaparecidos that constantly defect sessions out of the blue. Thinking back about it, I can safely say the frequency and the punctuality of the group, both players and DM, was a huge step forward for me. It was the ONLY step forward for me. But letβs go in order.
I would have liked a D&D 3.5 campaign, but they played Pathfinder (1Β° edition); not a problem, I already knew most of the rules/differences because in my many years of DMing I considered switching game system, and I also allowed in one of my campaign one of my players to use a Gunslinger in the 3.5. The DM, however, warned me there would be few modifications to the core rules, along with homebrewing, banning and restrictions to avoid any possibility to break the game. In my hearing that, I was already growing the aforementioned pair of wingsβ¦
You see, the campaign was set in our world, around 1850 in England, but magic exists. Creatures like demons, werewolves and vampires are seen as legendary being, and if they really existed in the past they are now long extinct; the magic is also considered stuff of legends,

He is a video game developer and is expressing his frustrations with NFTs, play-to-earn gaming, blockchain and more. He posted the video on Jan 23, and at the time of me writing this post on the morning of Jan 25, it has about 225k likes.
While I disagree with almost all of what he says, and I find a few things about him and his claims odd, I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he is being genuine and try to respond rationally. This is not an attempt to bash or invalidate him, I simply want to address the concerns I have.
I will add hyperlinks with timestamps for anything I want to reference directly, though I strongly suggest you watch the video in its entirety first so nothing I say/he says is taken out of context
Firstly, I skimmed over the whole video to get a feel for it. I want to try to understand his tone and style, to get into his headspace so I might better understand his point of view. In summary, I would say his main argument is that gaming is losing the fun and sense of community as more things become monitized. That is a very reasonable argument, and one with which I actually kind of agree. I'll build on that later.
He speaks with obvious frustrations and heightened emotions. No one should be judged for that. That said, the first red flag for me was that he was speaking passionately about the apparent slippery slope we're on, leading me to believe he would argue from a point of morality, but his first point was regarding the difficulty/stupidity of the logistics of cross-game NFTs. You can only see this disconnect if you're looking for it, and with the help of this community ^(*cue The Architect voice*) we have become exceedingly efficient at it.
>1:42 and what I've seen in the last 2 years is one of the most cynical, painful, destructive attacks on our industry that I have seen in decades of working in video games. And it started with free-to-play, but what is happening now in this crazy NFT, blockchain, play-to-earn bullshit is so destructive that I think it may actually do permanent, irreperable damage to our industry, and it's time for someone to actually say NO.

This has happened three times, and the last one was just two nights ago. Doctors have told me they thought that this could have been a panic attack, but they aren't entirely sure. And they have also confirmed it was not sleep apnea.
This is very difficult to describe so be prepared:
And here are the incidents in which it happened:
I realize how this sounds, but don't know how I can prove that this is real. Right now now I'm shivering a bit at the thought of these incidents. Is this epilepsy? I'd really like to know

What's stronger in Destiny: a grenade or a melee?
Yes, I know the answer to this question. If you play a decent amount of Destiny, you probably know the answer to this question. If you've played any shooters that aren't DOOM or Titanfall 2, you could guess the answer to this question. But bear with me here, because I want to talk about what Destiny itself thinks is stronger, and why it can't seem to come to an answer.
We'll start with some very simple, very obvious rules of Destiny's design. Game design in general, really. Rarer events should trigger stronger perks, while more common events should trigger weaker perks. Feeding Frenzy needs to be stacked multiple times to reach the same reload speed increase as Outlaw, because precision kills are obviously rarer than regular old kills. Frenzy Frenzy gives a 15% buff because being in combat takes zero effort on your part, while One for All gives 35% damage because it specifically requires you to tap multiple targets in quick succession.
More powerful abilities should also come off cooldown slower. This isn't even just me making inferences, Bungie basically outright stated this was the reason behind making ability cooldowns non-universal in this TWAB. You could also look at the disparity in cooldowns between Stasis and Light abilities for another example of this principle in action.
Usefully, there are many perks which function analogously for grenades and melees, giving us some very useful data points we can use to compare them in both these areas.
How the hell am I suppose to know when itβs raining in Sweden?

Ethan smiled to himself as he made his way into the locker-room. It was the third morning after having departed Atlantis. That first, like the day that theyβd been in orbit of it, Vaar had worn full-body sweats, and there had been no betting. Yesterday, the betting pool had been shallow, but sheβd gone with a pair of relatively loose knee-length shorts and a lightweight cotton top. Today, he had expectations for everybodyβs favorite majordomo, and for the reactions of the Corsair to her antics! The etanis werenβt exactly known for their endurance, but today was going to be treadmills for Vaar in an attempt to work on that. He knew that she was the fastest on the ship in short spurts, able to outdo even Amelia by half for the first 200 meters or so, but sheβd be on her knees and panting by 225, and long enough for Amelia to clear 400 before she got back up. Even Ethan could beat her over a kilometer.
The thing was that, try as they might, those elastane tops she tended to wear in the gym werenβt exactly up to the task of keeping everything still, and running was an activity notorious for generating jiggle. Not that Ethan minded the spectator sport that was her teasing of Aaren, but damn that girl did a lot of collateral damage. She might only care about one pair of eyes, but that didnβt negate the other nine that were present most mornings. Yuri was more Ethanβs type, but his appreciation for the show wasnβt purely academic like Idesβs was!
When he arrived at the locker room, Amelia and Rachael were already present and changed β both wearing outfits similar to the one that Vaar had gone with the day before. He could hear rustling from within two of the changing booths, and Akariβs voice piped up from one of them, βAarenβs doing hand weights today, right? Thatβll put βem facing the line of treadmills. Put me down forβ¦ make it seventy-five on a fumble in the second half of kilosecond one.β
βIβll see that!β Ethan piped up. βMatch Akariβs bet, first half of kilosecond one.β
βDone and done,β said Amelia with a grin. Of course, given that she took a tenth of the pot whatever the outcome, she wasnβt going to complain about it growing!
Rachael just shook her head and smirked. βYou do all know that theyβre both aware of these betting pools, right? Iβd call it cr
