I am currently trying to come up with a Hollywood-style erotic/romantic orchestral piece and I am very lost.
I am perfectly fine with pretty much any other emotion (heroism, horror, sadness, mysterious, otherworldly, etc...) but I can not come up with anything erotic. Is that even possible? I can't think of any existing orchestral piece conveying that particular emotion at all.
As a piano piece? - easy, pop song? - easy.
Is an epic orchestra simply unable to convey those emotions or am I missing something here?
Looking for some good sleazy, sexy and erotic films from above mentioned era. Watched risky business again and damn it has one of best erotic scenes. None the less i enjoy watching this movie for 80's nostalgia and silly plot. I think this movie was director way of portraying capitalism. Basic Instinct, fatal attraction, true lies, species, unfaithful, showgirls are some other example of films i am looking for. I DONT care for IMDB rating. I know nudity wasn't allowed in American films back then, but what about foreign films, or from around the early 1960s?

As a data scientist, got to say it was pretty interesting to read about the use of machine learning to "train" an AI with 100,000 nudey videos and images to help it know how to colour films that were never in colour in the first place.

Hungarian noblewoman Elizabeth Bathory is a historical figure who has proven to be an endless goldmine for horror content since the early days of her twisted legend. Recognised as history’s most prolific female serial killer, Bathory’s reign of torture and death is well documented, though gruesome details of bathing in youthful virgin blood are believed to be later embellishments. Nevertheless, whatever may be truth or lies, her legacy has been easily channelled into vampire horror for generations. The most famous motion picture to wear this inspiration on their sleeve was Hammer’s Countess Dracula, starring the mesmerising Ingrid Pitt, coincidentally released the very same year as Daughters of Darkness.
The film begins with Valerie and Stefan who have just got married. Good for them. They celebrate the occasion as all people should, with some artsy train sex. It’s certainly one way to start a marriage or a movie. They eventually come… to arrive at a hotel on the Belgian seafront. It’s the Winter season so they prove to be the only guests until the shock arrival of an elegant blonde heiress and her mistress/secretary/queen of the bob. That noble lady’s name? Elizabeth Bathory. The countess takes an instant interest in the young couple and crafts a series of plans to weave herself into their lives, for a variety of her own pleasures.
As you can see from the footage linked below, director Harry Kümel and his team have produced some seriously gorgeous visuals. Even setting aside the beautiful cast and the wonderful 70s fashion sense on display, this is a very pretty flick. The high-class seaside hotel makes for a perfect substitution for your typical medieval castles and broken battlements, whilst retaining all the grandeur and gothic sensibility the story deserves.
